You only get store credit even if you return the item within 30 days unworn and with tags. This is buried in small print somewhere and not at all clear when you purchase. They take your money essentially. The quality of the dress I ordered is average at best, no lining, arrived wrinkled.

Red dress is systematically racist. Barely any diversity featured in their so-called models who do not know how to walk. They did feature a few non-white models but more so after the ongoing protests (super fake). Very pricey too.
I really wanted to love this company, yet my first order they sent a dress vs a shirt and by the time I shipped it back the event was over I had ordered it for. So I tried again; second order was missing an item. Now 2 months later I am getting shorts hopefully shipped that I can no longer wear due to cold weather. Cute clothing and reasonable prices; yet I assumed they would accept some responsibility for X 2 different orders being completely messed up and offer a discount, coupon, etc? Still awaiting correct items?

This place should be getting a no star. Do NOT order from here. They make you pay for your returns. They do not give you your full reimbursement so you are double charged for shipping. The clothing is cheap and feels worse than Forever 21 clothes. Good will has better stuff than them. I bought a dress for $50 and paid $7.75 to the post office ship it back since they do not cover that. They only reimbursed me $43 because they do not include the shipping (I paid $5.95 to the website) that you had paid for.
As an online shopper and someone who works IN customer service, it was quite surprising to see a company deal with customers as they do. Any returns are an absolute fight. Any concerns with the quality of clothing or even so much as *questioning* the quality when it is already purchased and shipped is also a fight. Not for me, won't be back.
I bought two dresses and made sure I looked at the return policy before purchasing. They SAID I had 14 days and would loose $8 for shipping. I was willing to do that. However, in the SMALL print below a discount code it said all sales are final. What? If you take the discount you will not be allowed to return the item or apply a store credit. I can't believe this online company is willing to lose return customers with such poor service. Make sure you read all the fine print (which they claim is VERY CLEAR).
Had to eat my $$$. Unfortunately, I had other items I would have ordered if they allowed the return.
Ordered a Christmas present on Cyber Monday with a 30% off. I tried to exchange it for a larger size and was told it was "outside the 30 day window" and also since I used a coupon it was a "final sale". How is that? Are you suppose to wait til December 10 or later to order to stay within a 30 day return window? And hope you receive it before Christmas PLUS " Don't use any kind of coupon!... It will be a final sale. This is the ONLY retailer online or in stores that does not do an extended return policy during the Christmas season. It is the ONLY one too that makes items a "final sale" if you use a coupon. I will never support the Red Dress Boutique again! There are plenty of other businesses that are better at customer service.
If I could give it no stars, I would. They have sales, sell dresses that are not even close to the sizes and quality that they advertise and then refuse to refund you. In their email they said to donate or re gift.
Just a terrible company that you want to stay away from.

After placing my order I realized it changed my address to my billing address which I don't live at any more emailed them as soon as it happened, no rely so I emailed them again so they could fix it before shipping it, then they tell me there is nothing they can do it already been shipping not gonna refund me not gonna reship it Jennifer on the phone said I should drive 10 hours there and 10 hours back and ask the strangers that live there now for it. That's 100 dollars gone! I emailed them twice within the same day so they could fix it! This is the worst company ever! Any other company would cancel the order and reship it or give them a refund!
This company is a scam. I made a mistake ordering from here. I retuned something before the "return by" date given on the website and weeks later I got a email saying my return was too late. When I sent proof of the return date they still refused to refund me, give me store credit or even send the clothes back. (after they charged me to ship it to me and then again I had to pay to send the return back to them). They literally just stole money from me and have a terrible customer service team who can't offer any answers or alternatives regarding the matter. Very disappointed. Will never shop here again.

Their sizing is a bit off- but when I received a very expensive pair of jeans that were damaged- they replaced them and didn't ask me to send the others back. Not only did they replace them, but they replaced them with a totally different style that I wanted instead. They were very responsive. I'll be ordering again.
I recently ordered three dresses during a 20% off sale. One is pretty see-through, and the second is perfect. Unfortunately, the third dress I ordered in a small (I am always an XS or S) and it is more like an XXS. I am 5'2" and 108 lbs, and their generic sizing chart says it should fit. I contacted customer service to exchange for a larger size, and was told I could only return for store credit and then re-purchase. Sadly, they were unwilling to give me 20% off for my new order, so I would not only have to pay for shipping but I would then have to pay more for my "exchange". I only purchased these dresses because they were more affordable with the 20% off. I would've gladly exchanged for a larger size, because the dress is very cute. I am incredibly bummed that I just spent that amount of money and am unable to exchange for a size that fits me.
Overall, they are an okay store and company. I've purchased a few things that I've liked and kept. However, there was one time where I made a return on a blouse I bought from them. Everything on the return end went okay, but when I wrote a three-star review on the blouse, that only had one other five-star review, my review was not approved for the website. It struck me as odd and makes me think they limit the amount of reviews they get that are not five-star. A bit suss, if you ask me.
Red Dress shipped me a dress with a zipper that was sewn shut. I have gone around & around with them to receive permission to send it back. I sent photos and then a video of the defective zipper and they never responded. I would call and they said that they were "way behind on emails." I was fine with waiting a few weeks- but it got ridiculous. They finally sent me a return address label after I called for the third time. They refused to refund shipping- even though THEY shipped me a defective product.
Quality has gone down majorly all while prices have skyrocketed and I've been buying from them for years. Additionally, they changed their return policy and told customers by banner on their website for 2 weeks. Unfortunately I happened to not purchase from them in that small week time so I was unaware haha. Sad because I know they started as a small family business and I love supporting smaller companies over huge corporations but they will not get another cent from me. I'm now stuck with a $400 bill I can't pay because I missed the 2 week announcement of the return policy. Truly not worth your money. Sorry red dress!
This company lost my item/it never arrived so I has to call the customer service. Was told I had to wait a month for them to complete their investigation before they could send replacements.
I expressed fear they would be sold out so this incompetent moron Kelsi said "no worries babe we already put the items in your size on hold for you and contact you by August 19th. 3 weeks later, August 19th came and went, no reply for 3 days later they just forgot, had to hound them down to be told the items which supposedly were in hold for me were now sold out completely. WtF how are they sold out if you put them on hold? Apparently in Kelsi's deranged head that makes sense. And now being offered store credit for a place I never will buy from again!

This clothing store is horrible! And from what I can see from other reviewers I'm not the only one that feels this way. Customer service is the worse I have ever had to deal with. I used a code for Black Friday and they would not return or exchange for a smaller size I was not even asking for my money back. The items WASN'T on sale, I happen to use a code for Black Friday and they would not allow an even exchange or even store credit. I have never heard of such a thing. Red Dress doesn't care about its customers it's alll about them! And be ready for a RIP OFF if sizing is off or you are not completely satisfied with an item. I will never shop with them again

I really didn't want to even rate it with a 1 star but in order to post this I had to. Don't get me wrong, this company does have really cute items on their website! But, their prices are absolutely ridiculous and overcharge people for these clothes that are made very poorly and end up shrinking very badly or seems tearing and then the piece of clothing ends up having a hole in it. I've ordered so many things from this company and have spent several hundreds of dollars with them and most of it has been garbage. I always give them the benefit of the doubt because where I live we don't have a wide variety of boutique shops. Buts after my last order I'm done with this company! And the items I've ordered that didn't fit either too big or too small, when I would send back priority they never wanted to refund my money back on to my credit card so to that effect I would always have to call them and they would always have some lame excuse is to why they never refunded me my money! SO buyer beware PLEASE!

I purchased a bunch of items during a sale. I did NOT see a disclosure that the items could not be returned for your money back, only a credit. I WILL NOT BE PURCHASING HERE AGAIN AFTER I SPEND MY $250+ CREDIT. I feel like the disclosure was hidden, and I feel tricked by this company.
Purchased a few items & most were decent quality but one of the dresses was lace & feels very stiff. I would purchase more of their more simple items in the future. Deals & pricing was great
I have been a customer of Red Dress for a number of years. I think, generally speaking, the quality of the items are good and they are cute. I used to get a lot of compliments when I wore their items and I recommended them to people who would ask where I got my outfit.
However, due to a recent experience, that is no longer the case. I bought a number of items on final sale. I understand that these items are listed as non-refundable, but I have never had issues with Red Dress before, so I didn't anticipate problems. When the items came, most were good, but there were two items of dubious quality. One item was clearly used (smelled weird and didn't have tags) and another item had messed-up stitching and looked really wonky when put on.
I immediately (that day) notified Red Dress. They, seemingly, did the right thing and offered to refund me (store credit, not cash) even though they were Final Sale items. So far so good. But then, after I mailed back the items and got my credit, I noticed they reduced the refund $8 for return shipping. I was a bit stunned since they never mentioned that I would be charged for shipping, provided a pre-paid label, and on their website it says if you mail it back within 14 days and accept store credit then return shipping is FREE (they capitalize it on their website). I'm not sure I would have mailed them back if I had known I would be charged - I certainly wouldn't have used their label.
I notified Red Dress and basically got told that I was only offered the refund at all as a one-time exception to their Final Sale policy and gave no real explanation for why I was charged the $8... so... I guess I should feel lucky that I paid $8 for bad quality items and having to mail them back? I don't know a company that doesn't do full refunds for defective items. Well, I guess now I do...
Through experience I have learned that the quality of items from Red Dress is no longer reliable and the only one who pays the price when I receive defective product is me. Since I have used my "one-time exception" and paid $8 for the privilege, I will no longer be shopping at Red Dress and I won't recommend it to others. It is a shame since I was a fan of theirs before.

When things go well, everything is great. They do have some quality items. Shipping can take a while. However, be aware that when an item is defective, used, torn, etc. they will not go out of their way to help you.
