Half our township hasn't had their trash picked up. Some for weeks. There are strikes affecting 50 cities because even the employees hate this company. And Republic is the second largest trash company in the country. What happened to free market giving better products and services? This is why regulations happen. Because corporations like Republic services don't do what they've taken tax payers dollars to do. Republic sucks. Jon Vander Ark should be dumping cans instead of screwing customers. Hope you choke on your $4 million salary.
After the Storm we were told to put our damage fencing and neat piles by the curb well I did that it came through they did a first pickup and said it was a first pickup and they picked up some of my neighbors and the following week they passed us by again they didn't pick up our pile well on both trash day they didn't pick it up then the second month came by they didn't pick it up so I called for Miss picked up I called him three times had it scheduled for pickup they said they would pick it up and they didn't I pay for bulk pickup they didn't pick it up then on top of that the driver chooses not to pick up my trash can on regular pickup gets my neighbors on both sides of me but not my can and I pay quarterly auto pay so what's his excuse this time for not picking up my trash apparently he's lazy doesn't want to pick up the boat trash and who knows that might be a different driver so are you hiring nothing but lazy $#*! drivers that don't want to do their job for what we are paying them to pick up I called for Miss pickup on my can and I get they'll be out there the next day well guess what I get home the can is still there go figure
I'm literally disgusted with this company we had them from almost 2 years and it's always a bill here and a bill there in a five dollar here and a $10 they're in a $35 here literally pause our service for the summer because we would not be here and that was fine and dandy the bill was all pill paid up. They sent us another bill for $6.59 then today I got another bill for another $35. We haven't used them and two months stop trying to get money from people just because you're not doing well. Your company is poorly run and your representative Cindy has a very piss, poor attitude.

This company is a joke. Constant missed pickups. Customer service lies repeatedly just to appease you and get you off the phone. Two weeks in a row of missed pickups and the scheduled missed pickups were missed also. Another weekend of trash piling up outside for the wild animals to shred and have blown all over the neighborhood. To top it off they never offer credit for accumulated missed pickups. Truck is running the next road over on schedule so it isn't a truck issue or lack of employees issue. Plain and simple, just bad business.

In the last 4 years the company has gone downhill. Our dumpster is CONSTANTLY left unlocked and we were told that this would be resolved. It was not and they charged us $1200 over a 2 month period for their mistake. We cannot get a bill sent and they will constantly tell you (if they bother to return a call or answer the phone) that it is still your fault (somehow) and these charges will not be removed. They are a SCAM company. We have been with the company for over 19 years and these last 4 have been horrendous. DO NOT START service with them. They will overcharge and scam you every step of the way. BTW... don't bother to reply as you do to every review (as they are ALL bad)... We would like the opportunity to investigate your feedback further. Please private message the service address and contact information... we are not interested.

I've reached out to make a complaint against the trash pick up driver. Two times have I had to go outside and pick up trash because the driver dropped it in the middle of the street. They promise to send driver back out but he flew down my street 2 times without stopping to get my trash. Instead, he took a picture and told them I added a bag of trash so he didn't pick it up. Like huh! Really?! Then you call and the ladies over the phone pretend to care and the follow ups never happens. I will be switching as soon as my billing cycle is up.
Poor system for dumpster pickup. I ended up not getting two dressers into it and dumpster was obviously not ready for pickup. They give no ETA time my contract had no day listed for pickup either. They wont make it right. Just a routine sorry for your inconvenience. This is more than an inconvenience. I wont rent a dumpster from them ever again. Super rude too.

The price goes up each and every bill with a tiny disclaimer on each invoice that says "Please note that your next invoice may reflect a price increase". My bill has literally doubled since republic purchase the trash company from our previous trash provider. It is absolutely ridiculous that they raise the price each and every month with little to no explanation. When do the prices quit going up?
The last 3 years of service with Republic garbage collection has turned into now 14 missed pickups since June 2021. My bill is approx $135 for 3 months, $5.62 per pickup times 14. $78.68 is what I'm owed and the paid professional lying rep. Proudly credited me $7 in October! The lies never stopped all times I called and was transferred to rep. Mostly told the service would be here but running late only. RUBBISH! F. Y. I. have been a customer in same house since 1998 with same Republic Services(name changed once or twice). They were once a conscientious business.
This company continually fails to pick up our recycling bin. At this point, we stay on lengthy calls waiting more than we do live our own lives. We have been given excuse after excuse as to why this is happening. One of the most common is " It's because you are the only person on your block with this service" I'm starting to understand why no one else on my block pays for your so-called services. To add to the frustration, our city has released statements saying people will be fined for leaving bins out without picking them up. I want to know who's fining this company. I'm not getting any sort of money back for our added time tracking down trucks and customer service reps to fix my issue. This companies service is very pathetic. Is there a no-star option for the rating?

Our dumpster was picked up yesterday morning and not returned. Made 8 phone calls today to the company to see what the problem was. No one I spoke to could have cared less, kept getting passed around to different departments. Finally spoke to someone who told me we would have a dumpster soon at 4 P.M. its now 9;00. We are a very busy restaurant and have garbage stacked every where.
This is really frustrating but what really upsets me is that this is not the first time. Shame on me I should have switched waste removal services before this. I will be doing so tomorrow.

They might show up when they are supposed to but don't hold your breath. If they spill trash out on the ground they leave it there. Watched one driver use the pickup arm to smack the can sideways so hard it came within 2 inches of hitting my brother's truck. Driver too damn lazy to get out to see they had already been emptied an hour earlier from a different truck. They hire some damn dumb drivers. Obviously piss poor communication. They absolutely suck. Never would recommend this company. Only plus is my pickup is included in my rent. Or else they'd be gone.
The truck driver did not pick up the garbage and I called early yesterday and they agreed to stop by during the afternoon and no one came. I called early today and they informed me that they canceled the order for my call yesterday because the driver reported that the garbage was not outside. I ask to speak to a supervisor because I have evidence from the cameras in my house where the garbage containers were outside the night before and they were scheduled to come today and no one came either.
Republic Services is the worst company to deal with for trash removal. Prices increase without notice. Customer service people are confused and can't give specific info on rate increases. It happens time and time again. Quoted low price and then within 2 quarters rate increases significantly. Don't use them!
Missed(again) this past week my weekly residential trash pickup. Called the following day and was assured they'd pick up this following Monday. Guess what did not happen today too? Will call them again tomorrow and ask to speak with a supervisor and objectively share with them my experience in this matter.what they don't miss is promptly accepting my payment via 'auto-pay' of the services they had contractually agreed to provide me. It's either having lazy/unreliable workers or it's a poorly run organization that is not paying their workers enough.

Dealing with this company has been the most in pleasant experience I have ever had. Long call waits one hour plus for two weeks before speaking to someone and then my call getting "dropped" and no return call to me was ever made. It's honestly surprising this business is even able to continue to operate I can't explain enough how much more stress they've added to my moving process. Truly a poorly operated business.
Stay away. They did not tell me about $47 drop off fee PER container and an additional $30 cancellation fee to remove those containers when I decided to cancel due to their undisclosed fees. Including the almost $30 monthly fee, I paid over $150 for 1 month of garbage pick up service!

Honestly an all around terrible company. They're constantly late or don't even show up. Trash can is always either toppled or in the middle of the driveway after pick up no matter what you do. Even if you put it per their specifications. They will always blame you instead. Customer service is non-existent. The person I spoke to was extremely rude and unprofessional. Late fee is atrocious and they don't even give a courtesy once-a-year fee removal that any other company does. I am unfortunately trapped using this company by the city. I barely use their service because of how bad they are and we are still stuck paying them.
Wow right when I was thinking I was turning into a crabby old man I find all these horrible reviews! There are indeed ridiculously expensive. I can't go 6 weeks without them missing one of the three bins, garbage, yard waste or recycling. Weirdly when I ask my neighbors they seem fine with them. In my area I have no option but to use them. I am SO frustrated by them I almost feel like buying a small pickup and take everything to the dump.
Republic service of fort Collins CO is BS company to work for. They are a multi billion dollar company. Yet they nickel and dime there employees. Make promises and change policies and say it's out of there hands. Offer sign on bonus. Then tell you you'll get half at six months. Then the other at one year. I've been there for 10 months without seeing any of it. They ask for volunteers then make it mandatory. Must deal with dead and rotten animals. No Christmas bonus. Very weak yearly raises. There health benefits are the only reason I'm still there.
I am the on-site manager for a Condominium in Fresno. We have consistently had problems with our scheduled pickups, which can become a huge problem when it services many people. I have tried for YEARS to maintain patience, however,, it hasn't resolved the problems. At first they would respond immediately. However, now it doesn't happen! They sat they'll take care of it. Worst trash company we've ever dealt with! They selected which bags they wanted out of my trash can and left the rest laying in my alley. I called multiple times to get my trash picked up, and each time, there's an excuse, or they just keep rescheduling. This is unacceptable. They refuse to pick up my missed trash.

Save yourself the headache and find a different trash collecting company. Organization will send out e-mails reading that just are not picking up this week. No rebate for missed week just trash left at curb. Very unprofessional and indifferent customer service.
I started their services Dec 7,2021. I had to call them every week for them to pick up my trash. On Jan 21st, they picked up my can & told me my service had been discontinued because they were not serving my area anymore. They did not give me notice even tho I was paid through March. I've called them twice about receiving my credit of $60.55 which was supposed to be received within 30 days of discontinuation. I just keep getting the run around from them. Very disappointed with this company

So across the board, you guys suck. You have no business being in So Cal. Your reliability and customer service are non existent. I order a weekend 3 yard dumpster from Friday to Monday. Friday came and went with no dumpster. Kicker is your services were already paid for. You might want to start charging at the pick up, not before the drop off. I will not recommend these services to any of my construction associates nor anyone I know. Also by not having your customer service associates being allowed or able to communicate with dispatch makes your company look like a pos. Good day.

So this is the type of service that you receive when you are forced to deal with a provider without any options. I've been told the wrong information not once but 3 times by customer service. Crystal calls with an excuse what they can't take which is wood in a garbage truck. Never had a problem before today the garbage truck driver is racist and a fool. He acts like he has to get off his lazy butt and dump the trash.
