I made my reservation then I read the reviews which made me worry a lot thinking that it's a scam. So I promised to make this review if everything goes well. And it did! The whole process went through very smoothly
Tricked into using their site when I thought I was using the hotel site to book. Up-charged massive fees and "tax recovery" BS. Within 24 hours, I realized my mistake and when I called to cancel, I spoke to 3 different service representatives who gave me 3 completely different explanations. They assured me a supervisor would review my complaint because they would not allow me to cancel. I forced the 3rd rep to cancel and was told I would not receive a refund. My cost was $1,578.26. They sent me a voucher for 1/2 of the initial price. To use in the future. They are a joke, but they seem to be getting away with it so far. I disputed the charge with my credit card company and was told there have been other complaints about them. AVOID THIS VENDOR AT ALL TIMES.
Worst customer service I have ever experiences - 5 hours, 7 agents and three weeks of frustration, out $300 and refusal for a refund for a room that was under renovation, no proper lock on the door, and smelled of cigarette smoke. Pictures online are not a true representation. Agent suggested the hotel. I was booking the room for a Deaf and mute gentleman who I emphasized need a safe and clean place to stay. It was unsafe, unsanitary, holes in the walls and doors. I would never book with Reservation Stays or their partner Booking.com again.

All questions are answered by a computer. No person. That's why they don't understand what you say. I paid extra in case I had to cancel. They claim it's recommended. Well, they won't refund me even though I had just made the reservations. I urge their hotel partners run away. Saving you money doesn't save your customers money

The first number you see on their website doesn't work. I tried to correspond via email and they "closed the inquiry" on me. They will not work with you on any changes to your itinerary, including when the hotel is willing to issue a partial refund and just needs them to make a single call or email. I don't blame the customer service reps, as I feel they're not provided with any information.

I was unable to cancel my reservation within the FIVE DAY window and was charged full price for a hotel stay. I emailed for assistance, but after consideration, it was determined that illness was an insufficient excuse.
They closed their chase ticket and terminated all further communication.
With dozens of choices for website hotel stays, I would recommend any other site.

Reservation Stays agent charged me close to $250.00 to stay at the Marriott Courtyard over the phone in a non-refundable exchange. Then provided me with the phone number to the 1/2 completed under construction Sonesta Inn. Boo all around. Called for a refund- was caller 101 in line. Sent multiple emails and while speaking with the reps, none of them will take accountability. I will never use Reservation Stays again. Thank you.

I booked with this company and never received the service so had to pay again at the hotel. Now I am doing back and forth with them to get my credit. Oh and they lied on the phone as well about the price of the room, they charged me $94 over the original price of the room. Here is why not to use them.
1 - They overcharge and lie about room process to sell higher.
2 - Their customer service is non existent.
3 - Their service is no good.

For the love of god, use ANY OTHER booking service. These no-talent $#*! clowns will destroy your vacation before it even begins. They will screw up your booking and then tell you it's non Refundable. Their idea of customer service is to basically tell you to go piss up a rope. Mine is like all the others. Booked a room under duress, paid in advance. The first hotel connected me to them. Got there, no room at the Inn. Found another hotel and went there. The first two return calls apologizing were very convincing but empty. I sent in the invoice from the second hotel as they asked. On receipt, they cannot open the attachment, which is a pdf. I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company to get my money back. Stay away from them!

I was very skeptical after booking through this company due to the horrible reviews. I know 95% of things posted online are the bad because it is rare for someone to post when something is good. For this reason I decided to leave a good review for our great stay. Everything was exactly as listed in our agreement. Check in was seamless! The only additional charge that we had, we were made aware of at booking and it was for the resort fee. Over all, no issues and I would definitely use this company again!

These people are just taking your money. They were very professional when it came to making a reservation and obtaining your card info for the payment. Once I arrived at the hotel they found my reservation but no payment! I had to pay again! Was advised by hotel to contact for refund. I stayed up all night going back and forth with their support team. Even hotel front desk tried to help but they kept saying they'd call back. I finally asked to speak to a manager and received a call back from a supervisor, Mark. My phone rang once and he hung up and sent an email stating to send receipt of hotel and he'd personally take care of the refund. I did and it's been 3 days I keep calling and they just say they see the email and urgent support will reach out. What kind of management is that! That's ridiculous and unprofessional. Please don't waste your time and book directly with the hotel.

They are not transparent with what the resorts fee are. By surprise I got to pay an additional $136 of resorts fees. The process tricks you making you believe that " total taxes and fees" are covering it all.
Once you receive the email
Confirmation for your (sadly) non-refundable booking you are told to pay those fees at the hotel.
Perfect liars. Should I have known about these fees before I would certainly not book anything at all!
Run away. I hope they go bankrupt.

Horrible system. There is no way you can talk to a live person easily and eventually the call was forward you to a remote person (probably oversea answering service) who doesn't know what is going on. They take your money to book the hotel but when you arrive to the hotel, the hotel then tell you there is no reservation for you. We ended up paying double. When you email them the proof, they don't do anything but close your case by replying you "Your ticket with this team has been marked as closed. Please note that any further responses on this thread will not be monitored". Then no matter how many times you write back, they send you the automatic close case message like above. Don't book from them. It is a horrible experience.

Customer service is terrible. The e-mail support answered a question I did not ask, and didn't answer the question I DID ask. I wanted to add an additional night to my stay, but they responded on how to cancel my reservation - and then immediately closed out the ticket. I called their support phone number, many times. After waiting in the queue and getting in touch with someone, they hung up on me. One time was deliberate, because I told her that the previous call had disconnected, and that if it happened again could they call me back? She said no, and then hung up. When I used the callback option so that I didn't have to wait on the phone and they'd call me back when I reach the front of the queue, they called my phone but immediately disconnected when I answered. This happened TWICE! Their customer service is a nightmare - I strongly recommend not using them.

Traveling all day, booked a room on this site. When we arrived at hotel they did not have the booking and they had no rooms available! We had to sleep in our truck! The whole town was booked, not one room available! Next day, I cannot get a hold of anyone at the same number, I did send an email
Their response was, they want confirmation from hotel that they will refund the room! Can you believe it!?! My credit card was charged for the room by reservationstays.com! Rip off! They steal your money! Do not book here! I paid for a Holiday Inn Hotel for 3 nights with family (kids) hotel was supposed to have a pool and when we got there, pool was not in service. I have never been so stressed/Levid with any company. How are these companies allowed to run and steal and deceive people? I was given a price for suite. Got charged lots more on my credit card. And given a room with two beds…. The kicker. It's none fundable. And my credit card company is saying it's not fraud because you gave them your card information… curse on the way.

$93 additional for non-refundable, I booked non-refundable ($340) but inquired about the policy since a category 4 hurricane was headed there. Here's the response, "Since you made a reservation with us, a third-party booking service. We have our own policy and even if Marriot would cancel the booking on their end, the reservation will remain non-refundable on our system. Thank you for your understanding. Biggest scam ever! I scheduled a reservation almost 1 month in advance for a fishing trip. The captain notifies me that we had to reschedule for next week due to bad weather. Made reservation, got to hotel and it was flooded reservation was cancelled. We were never notified or refunded. Hotel said they were notified of cancellation. Called support and was hung up or disconnected on 5 times. Finally got someone and they said do you want new reservation or refund. I said refund because my husband was there checking for another hotel. They said I had to wait for email, respond to it then get refund. Hour later still no email. Will never use again because a large amount of my money is tied up and have to spend unexpected funds for another hotel for time being. Not happy

This company is a complete fraud, the confirmation number was invalid, no room reserved, their customer service was deceptive.
Left with the hassle of finding llast minute accommodations ( during Spring break) and filing a Dispute with the credit card company.

When I initially started looking at their site, it said fully refundable. Later, when I booked my room, the confirmation said it was non-refundable. I called customer service right afterwards and the man I spoke to would not accommodate me at all. I even offered to upgrade for more money, in order to have a refundable room. They are a bunch of miserable folks who don't care about customer service.
