I made my reservation then I read the reviews which made me worry a lot thinking that it's a scam. So I promised to make this review if everything goes well. And it did! The whole process went through very smoothly
Tricked into using their site when I thought I was using the hotel site to book. Up-charged massive fees and "tax recovery" BS. Within 24 hours, I realized my mistake and when I called to cancel, I spoke to 3 different service representatives who gave me 3 completely different explanations. They assured me a supervisor would review my complaint because they would not allow me to cancel. I forced the 3rd rep to cancel and was told I would not receive a refund. My cost was $1,578.26. They sent me a voucher for 1/2 of the initial price. To use in the future. They are a joke, but they seem to be getting away with it so far. I disputed the charge with my credit card company and was told there have been other complaints about them. AVOID THIS VENDOR AT ALL TIMES.
I booked the Westin Galleria Dallas hotel back in November of 2023. I couldnt make the reservation due to a family passing and I got covid. I couldnt get any of money back due to their non-refundable policy. I tried going through their support portal and they kept asking me for sufficient documentation and also to ge approval from the hotel itself which they wouldnt give me. I lost $1600 USD. Reservations stays is a scam and I would stay away from it.

Booked a room for water repair at my home. Tried to cancel the next day held for over an hour and hung up. Tried again a couple days later same result. Sent them an email to cancel. Went to the hotel to cancel in person hotel had no problem said they would not charge the card. Representative called from the email said there is no cancellation and I'd be charged anyway.

I thought I was booking through the hotel website. The only way to talk to a person is to call@ 3am. They will not refund or let you move the date of your original appointment even if it was an honest mistake.

If I could enter 0 stars I would.
After 3 discussions with Customer Service immediately after booking, no one agreed to help me change the date of my second reservation. Inexcusable - no refund or credit was requested. Just a input error which is obvious as I would not have booked a room for the same person twice on the same day!
When I called Customer Service - I had to confirm that I was not currently on the hotel property. I guess we know why...
Don't use. The rates were the same for the hotel on-line.

Paid close to $300 for our reservation at a Hilton in San Louis Obispo. When we arrived, there was no reservation and we were left stranded. We had to find last minute accommodations and file a dispute with the credit card company.

Horrible customer service. If you call you can expect a hold time of up to 2 and a half hours, never under 90 mins. Loud, fast talking and broken English - they do not listen to your needs or concerns. I added one additional night to a stay we had booked for 3 nights, it went through this 3rd party service... never gave me the price until I asked near the end of the conversation and the response was $458! I said no, I am not comfortable with that and the representative told me it was too late the charge already went through. I could cancel the reservation but refunds were not allowed. I had not even ended the call. I have been working on a refund for 3 months with no resolution. Received an email stating if I were to get written authorization from the property from upper management to okay the refund they would grant it - sent that directly from the property and no response for over a month. TERRIBLE experience and they are giving a very reputable hotel chain a bad name.

Do NOT ever use Reservation Stays. They incorrectly represent themselves as the hotel chain itself, so I inadvertently booked through them. They do not give you an option for refundable bookings. They do not respond to questions. They will not allow users to speak to a manager. They will not provide a mailing address or email address for their executive team. AND the rates they offer can be HIGHER than those directly with the hotel chain. I will be reporting them.

The agent could not complete my two booking after 107 minutes. So I told her just to cancel the one that went through but she said she could not cancel or issue a refund that I would have to call customer service. Of course, they said they were closed. I sent them a text, which we went back and forth. They stated over and over about their policy of no refunds. They were the one not able to complete my booking and yet I am the one out of $939. Very bad experience. I thought I was speaking to Embassy Suite, but found out too late that this was a con company. Call the hotel directly for your reservations, this is what I usually try to do.

I will never book with Reservation Stays again! The price was actually 12 dollars higher than if I had just booked with the hotel myself. I had to wait an Hour & a half for them to pay the hotel after I got there so that I could check in even though they had already debited my bank account. They wouldn't issue a refund even tho it hadn't even been paid yet. I had an emergency & my daughter went into labor during all of this and still no help from reservations stay! Horrible customer service with the reps talking over you and not listening!
To top it off this is what the bedding looked like!

We had last minute changes in our reservation and wanted to modify our room situation as we were adding another family member, needed another bed. They sent me a generic auto response of how I should have read the confirmation as changes are not acceptable. NOT only did they lose out on money for me upgrading, but they lost me as a costumer and my family to use this dumb 3rd party. NEVER book through a third party, it's just a joke and gimmick. They literally rape you in fees, no support or good costumer service. My mistake and won't happen again.

My biggest mistake was booking hotel late at night while I was tired and booking on my phone. Didn't realize I was using a sponsored link and not booking directly through my hotel. Was shocked by the fees, but needed this specific hotel for an event so I paid the fees, the full cost of an additional night. Only realized after the fact that I wasted so much money by accidentally booking through this site. Would never recommend.

This company is a total bottom feeder and will just take your money regardless of what happens. You book for 4 nights but only stay 2 nights because of an emergency? They don't care! Neither does your credit card company who will not charge it back. I am cancelling my Discover card over this. They use a virtual credit card so even the hotel can't give you a refund. I was very surprised at check-out when I was told I would need to work with the 3rd party booking company for a refund. I am so glad I declined the Friday night stay or I would have lost another $250! Be careful when you call a phone number from using google searches! I honestly thought I was calling LaQuinta 1-800 number.

We booked a one night stay at a Marriott hotel and after hitting enter and getting the confirmation we realized the arrival date was incorrect. We called the Marriott immediately and they told us we had been redirected to a third party and they could not make changes to the reservation, we need to contact Reservations Stays. We 100% thought we were booking directly with Marriott! BEWARE! We called Reservation Stays literally 5 to 10 minutes after booking and they refused to change the date. They are trying to steal $330.00 from us! We have contacted our credit card company and I am going to report them to the Better Business Bureau!

This company is a complete fraud. They misrepresent themselves as the hotel you want to book and then take your money. Charging you much more than the actual hotel would charge. They absolutely don't care when you do reach them by phone but tell you too bad you will have to pay anyway no matter what. Be careful. I have written to BBB and to the FTC to complain. This should be against the law. Why isn't it? Why are all these people having to pay this company?

It would have been helpful if Google would not have let them use a hotel name website which makes it almost impossible to know you aren't dealing directly with the hotel. They are very sneaky.

I never write a review about a company, but I am today. Do not use this company to book rooms. Those wonderful deals they promise are actually inflated prices of the actual cost of the room. I paid way more for my hotel room than it cost.

I got on their website (thought it was the hotel website) on Sept 4 to make a reservation for Oct 7. I selected Oct 7 and when I received the confirmation it was for Sep 4. I immediately contacted them and they would not change the date even though it was a mistake. Lost $153 dollars.

First of all they somehow highjacked my link to expedia without me fully aware.They booked a $119 ($132 with tax and local charges)room for my wife and me and charged me $229! I discovered this when the hotel gave me an invoice for my stay. After contacting them and sending them a copy of the invoice they completely ignored me. My only avenue left is to dispute the charge through my credit card company.

I booked with them and their policy says free cancellation to a certain date. I cancelled by that date but they didn't honor what they said. The phone number they provides it is not a real phone number. They charged my debit card anyway. When I contact the hotel, the manager gave me another name for the booking company. It looked reservation stays is a third party and it is false what they promise.

I was booking 2 nights accom Hotel charge $242/night...inadvertently I wound up on Reservation Stays and was upon checking the confirmation I noted that I was charged $900 for the 2 rooms $307 (Tax Recovery Charges & Service Fees). Be very careful using them as their www site closely resembles the hotel that is being booked. I won't use this company ever again...misleading and deceptive!

I was unable to reach anyone to discuss a change in date. On the 2 emails that I received back both had phone numbers that couldn't connect to anything. On the phone line off the website, I sat #7 in queue for just over an hour. I was trying to book directly with hotel, but got rerouted several times to reservation stays booking system. Would recommend that Sheraton Gateway Hotel Toronto airport disconnect from them.

I had to open a dispute at the bank since I stupidly used my debit card. There's a large chance I will not be seeing that money again -not to mention, the booking was "magically" cancelled when I arrived. Please do not book with Reservation Stays.

Terrible company to deal with. Stay far away from the, as possible. Made a booking for 3 nights at 141/night which I was told was changeable and cancellable until July 22/23. Called and emailed to change reservation back to just 2 nights. They told me I would need to cancel the whole reservation and rebook the two nights at 270/night. Even contacted hotel and they said it would be okay with them but they still would not do it. Totally unreasonable folks to deal with, no supervisors to talk with, long wait times. Terrible experience.
