I made my reservation then I read the reviews which made me worry a lot thinking that it's a scam. So I promised to make this review if everything goes well. And it did! The whole process went through very smoothly
Tricked into using their site when I thought I was using the hotel site to book. Up-charged massive fees and "tax recovery" BS. Within 24 hours, I realized my mistake and when I called to cancel, I spoke to 3 different service representatives who gave me 3 completely different explanations. They assured me a supervisor would review my complaint because they would not allow me to cancel. I forced the 3rd rep to cancel and was told I would not receive a refund. My cost was $1,578.26. They sent me a voucher for 1/2 of the initial price. To use in the future. They are a joke, but they seem to be getting away with it so far. I disputed the charge with my credit card company and was told there have been other complaints about them. AVOID THIS VENDOR AT ALL TIMES.
So I booked a hotel stay for my boss and somehow booked the wrong night. In attempting to get them to change it they informed me that it was unchangeable/nonrefundable in the print on the ticket, so now because of my typo I have to eat the 300.00 myself. I would think a company could make exceptions to human error especially when the error is realized right away. I am not trying to scam anyone I just made a typographically error. Needless to say this is a horrible company and will never ever use them.

I recently book a trip to hawaii waikiki they book a regular room but advertised it as a sweet. I'm surprised that a 4star hotel such as the Sheraton would allow this type of action from a third part to happen. Especially to service members.

Received my credit card statement today with a charge for $262. The description had a phone number so I called it. Got "ReservationStays" on the line. Overseas call center, obviously. They said that they were a third party booking company. I said I had never heard of them and asked why they charged my card over $250. They talked in circles and gave me no answers. Kept hanging up on me. Called back several times. They are trained to "talk circles". Had no choice but to report fraud to my bank and get my credit card cancelled and reissued. How is the overseas company allowed to do this to consumers?

This company is such a scam! I attempted to call and cancel the night before due to illness. The Customer Service rep named Glenda just kept reading from her little script and could care less. I told her I could provide documentation but she could care less. I told her that I just wanted to change the date but you have to cancel old booking. I was asked if I wanted to book the new one before cancelling the old one. I said I want to make sure they do cancel.
Can you imagine if I did book new one in hopes of getting a different date?

We had to pay up front at time of booking. That was the first clue. Upon arriving at the hotel it looked like it was abandoned, because it was. Getting through to customer service was hell. In the end we have to send invoices of the other hotels we had to stay at in order to prove we didn't use the reservation to the closed hotel. We'll see in the coming days if we will see a refund. Of course this refund will not include the 100's of additional $$ we had to pay for last minute rooms.

First of all I Thought I was calling Sheraton Grand hotel but it was Expedia Third party partner and they are Chinese organization, customer service cannot speak english and can't even spell or repeat your email. They charged my credit card $302.00 and all I wanted was a receipt but they could not spell my email! I first got the run around from Expedia customer service and then the Chinese third party! Not a real legitimate good organization! Shame on them!

Booked a reservation with them for 5 nights but only stayed for 4 nights due to work relocation. When I talked to the hotel, they said that the money for the 4 nights would be refunded to Reservation Stays, and we would need to get our refund from them. Reservation Stays refuses to refund the money. When I told them the hotel said they were refunding the money, they said that we would not get a refund. So they are keeping the money. They are crooks, so run to a more reputable company.

I accidentally booked the wrong day and after waiting 30 min to speak with someone and having a rep give me the runaround for 40min they said they couldn't give me a refund or apply to my future dates bc time had exceeded 1 hour. Scam Scam Scam! They should be removed from Google search!

When I tried to apply for the refund 2 days before our scheduled trip, they try to ask you fill an on-line form. When you try to submit, it always fails. Horrible experience with customer service. Had to cancel plans to Branson, MO due to airline cancelling flights for Hurricane Ian. Customer service would not allow refund of booking due to natural disaster. On line customer service with Reservation Stays was rude, Never use this company again.

This company is pathetic. They lie, cheat and steal from customers. They're supervising team all use the same first sentence in there emails when trying to contact customers via phone saying they couldn't get through and so they chose to send an email. No one ever calls and they have trained their customer service team to lie and never return a phone call. They are useless and cowards. Don't ever use this company.

I've recently booked a room for one night in New York, so the room wasnt cheap. I informed the representative that I did not have a lot of time to make the purchase. Not at any time did the rep state this was a 100% non refundable booking.
I was in a car accident, the very next day and called to cancel, due to not having the ability to physically make it. I called the actual hotel to cancel and the GM stated i had until check in time to cancel for a full refund. However, I had to call Reservation Stays and request them to call the hotel and verify because I purchased through them. Reservation Stay told me i could not cancel and they would not call.
I was ripped off of $242 of my hard earned money and wouldnt advise anyone to do business with them. I know I will not ever again. Im sure they profit from unforeseen accidents of life, often, with their unreasonable terms. Leaving customers cheated in every one of these instances.

In November 2023, I booked a room at the Hyatt in San Jose for February2024. In minutes I got the confirmation email (which stated the reservation was non refundable) it was for the Hyatt across town. Immediately tried to switch to the correct location. But, neither Reservation Stays nor Hyatt could / would move the reservation to the correct hotel. And because of the stated non-refundable policy of Reservation Stays, my bank won't reverse the charge. Because I need to be in the specific area of town, I am taking the loss and booking in another hotel. Wish I had read these reviews before booking. I wiill be mindful to avoid Reservation Stays in the future and recommend you do the same.

I thought I was booking a room directly with Hampton Inn Portland OR. When I got to the hotel they had no record of my reservation and the hotel had no room available. I have been trying for 3 days to contact Reservations.com with no luck They also doubled the room rate it was $119.00 a nite for two nights, I was charged $202.00. No luck in getting a refund from my credit card company. I'm still pursuing a refund but I don't have confidence I will receive one.

Horrible scam. The customer service lines are dead ends. There is no agent to talk to and the website is also a dead end for cancellations. Being within the timeline for cancellation policy doesn't matter because there is no pathway to cancel an existing reservation that they have already taken payment of. You have to just eat the cost. Absolutely criminal. Worst service ever.

Page location put them immediately below my preferred hotel so, in a rush I dialed them thinking I was calling my hotel's 800 number—my mistake. After stumbling through an awkward conversation with an agent who barely knew his job, I was needlessly booked in an ADA room. Fair Is Fair and out of fairness I will update my experience with Reservation Stays. After an excruciatingly long battle of Herculean effort. Reservation Stays finally caved and refunded my money. It was an epic battle of wills that required numerous emails to a multitude of corporate managers, 3rd party providers hotel managers and customer service reps of Reservation Stays. For me it became a matter of principle. I am retired and had the time to work through their corporate maze of mirrors. It became a matter of principle. So the bottom line is after an immense amount of time and energy they granted me a refund. For that I give them. 1 star. They are not heroes for doing something ethical.

Beware, Run, Danger! Worst online booking experience ever. If you ever have a problem they have a clever customer service loop that spins you in infinity and they never takes your call. They are good at taking your money ASAP, but when it comes to resolving any problem they ghost you. Check out their rating, it is pathetic.

Do not book through these frauds. You are better off booking directly with the hotel chain you want to stay with. They offer zero flexibility for refunds. I called the hotel and unfortunately they said because we booked through this partner they didn't have the flexibility had a booked directly.

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! This booking company has the worst customer service I've ever experienced. The customer service agent whose name was Glenda sounded like she was reading out of a policy and procedures manual for our entire call. Instead of working with me to problem solve related to an honest mistake (booking the wrong dates - I called customer service immediately after the booking) she kept repeatedly (and talking over me) telling me that she was following "policy and procedures"... when I asked to speak to her manager she told me that they were not available, nor would she leave a message to have her manager call me back. I had to call the hotel directly who then very kindly contacted this booking company in order for me to cancel my reservation.

I mistakenly booked using reservationstays.com Vs thru the hotel directly. Be careful when you book using your phone! I paid for a room type that was unavailable at check-in and wound up sleeping on a cot for my "luxury" vacation. I also paid reservationstays.com significantly more than what Marriott charged reservationstays.com. Despite reaching out to reservationstays multiple times and waiting on hold for over an hour each time to reach a representative, I was only provided scripted responses with no resolution. It was clear that the representative had no authority or incentive to resolve issues. I also suspect they don't care about repeat business. I wrote multiple emails explaining my dissatisfaction and requesting resolution, but I never received a response. Do yourself a favor, avoid using this company! There is no upside monetarily and they are unresponsive should you have an issue. Ps - I never write reviews but if this helps 1 person, I'm happy.

They make it seem like you're reserving at the hotel. They made a reservation for the wrong date—after I repeatedly told him the date. He repeated the WRONG DATE and I said NO, not that date. After hanging up, I received an email for the wrong date, called right back, and they refused to refund me because the reservation was non-refundable. I'm reporting them for credit card fraud.

When I called to make the reservation, I specifically asked for a hotel with shuttle... I then told the attendant that my flight was coming in after midnight... When I got to the airport and called the hotel for the shuttle, I was informed that the shuttle doesn't run after 12 midnight... I was left stranded at the airport both my four year old... These people are uniformed and only want to take your money. Never again! So, before you spend your money with them which is non-refundable... Call the hotel to verify that the information the reservation people give you is all factual!
