I made my reservation then I read the reviews which made me worry a lot thinking that it's a scam. So I promised to make this review if everything goes well. And it did! The whole process went through very smoothly
Tricked into using their site when I thought I was using the hotel site to book. Up-charged massive fees and "tax recovery" BS. Within 24 hours, I realized my mistake and when I called to cancel, I spoke to 3 different service representatives who gave me 3 completely different explanations. They assured me a supervisor would review my complaint because they would not allow me to cancel. I forced the 3rd rep to cancel and was told I would not receive a refund. My cost was $1,578.26. They sent me a voucher for 1/2 of the initial price. To use in the future. They are a joke, but they seem to be getting away with it so far. I disputed the charge with my credit card company and was told there have been other complaints about them. AVOID THIS VENDOR AT ALL TIMES.
I was on the Marriott site, and believed I was booking a hotel room directly through Marriott. A month after being promised a refund by the hotel (due to a very bad stay), I find out that I booked through a third party. Reservation Stays is who is on my confirmation email, but the hotel says I booked through Expedia. Expedia says I booked through Reservation Stays and to contact them. When I do that, I'm put on hold for hours (I've called 9 times), then told I actually booked through "Snap Travel."
It's been an exhaustive case of chasing my own tail, clearly by design. I hope they're out of business soon.

The worst experience ever.
I've booked a double room in a hotel through Reservation Stays, HUGE MISTAKE.
The hotel got a reservation for a single room and refused to respect a double room voucher from Reservation Stays.
I tried to correspond via email and they "closed the inquiry" on me.
Tried to call them but the phone number they send in their emails is incorrect, I assume that they intentionally publish a wrong number.
When reached them through the phone published on their website, they disconnected the call 3 times. When finally succeeded to talk with a support representative, they recognized their mistake but couldn't agree with the hotel to transfer me to a double room. Said that they will refund me but just now seen the refund amount and it's not what they promised.
Don't come near this company if you value your time and energy!

We booked an overnight at Kenai Princess Hotel in Cooper Landing Alaska and were overcharged by $120 by this site. The customer service must be in India and were no help, their email service was equally as terrible.

I reserved a room through Reservation Stays several months in advance of my stay. After reserving the room, I asked to add a person to the reservation because they would be checking in several hours before I was able to arrive. They first wanted to charge me $15 just to add a person which I thought was ridiculous but I agreed to pay it. I called and emailed on numerous occasions to get this done. Each time I made contact, they assured me someone would help me with my request. I never talked to anyone other than a call taker to help me. When I asked for a supervisor they wouldn't provide one. The day before my reservation they closed my request. I called back and they assured me the request would be expedited and taken care of. I never heard from anyone and my request was never fulfilled. My friend sat at the hotel for several hours until I arrived without being able to check into the room. An absolute horrible customer service company.

I booked a room for Jackson TN. I went to the hotel and was informed that I had no reservations there. I looked at my reservations and it was modified for Jackson MS which was 280 miles away. I called to inform them of the mix up and asked if they would change my reservations back to the hotel I reserved. I took screenshots and told them that it was modified through them. They didn't help at all and got irritated when I ask to speak to a supervisor. They hung up. Luckily I was able to stop the payment from going through because it was still pending. I was able to get the correct hotel room at a lower price. This company is a complete rip off. They say you can't make modifications or get a refund, but they modify your reservations without informing you.

Made reservation on March 8 at Hilton Rockwall Texas for March 11 at check out the next day I was told the bill wasn't paid, they won't return calls or email so i paid twice. Called the company several times always different story. We looking into it called today the said find the invoice and email to support, always asking me to do their job, just call the hotel. Big Fraud

I was overcharged by 50 percent 2 nights should have cost 306.00 and I was charged 758.00. If you think canceling would have helped, I would never have got my money back. Even the hotel said I was overcharged. Call locally to the hotel you want. Check out other reviews it gets worse.

Made several reservations through Reservation Stays late at night. After completing the 3rd reservation and upon receiving the confirmation, I realized the check in date was for June and not July.
I had to cancel payment with my bank because Reservation Stays refused to refund or change the check in date. They stated this was due to their non- refund policy.
Would have made a date change with Reservation Stays but they didn't respond to my request until 9 hours later! After explaining the typo error, they refused the refund and didn't offer to correct the check in dates.
This company is unreasonable and non flexible. Please check your check in dates carefully before booking with them or paying them any money. They will rob you even if a typo error is made. I will never use them to book lodging again.

Thought I was actually booking with the hotel reservation site. The rep booked me at the wrong location. When I pointed it out she sent me to customer service which disconnected me. I called customer service and left muliple messages. No returned calls. Disputing with credit card company now. This business is a scam. I will never use a third party booking again. Make sure you are actually talking with the hotel desk. Not some spoofed website attached to the hotel chain.

I made a booking but made a mistake in choosing hotel location. When I contacted them they said it's no refundable that I understand but 100% non refundable I don't understand. There was not nothing about 100% non refundable mention of the policy when I was going through the booking and when I contacted customer service for assistance they closed my ticket without even hearing out. I feel like I've been robbed. Please do not book through them at any cost apparently a cheaper cost for luring people in and trapping them.

The phone listed on the website simply redirects you back to the website. Can't speak with a live agent for changes and reservations. The website doesn't allow for changes either. Sent email and was still unable to talk to a person. Clearly a scam. All the reviews here point to that. The link is purposely deceiving.

They practice false advertising, saying they charge large amounts "off retail." They do not provide an invoice, so you do not know they charged more than the quote until you check your credit card statement.

Me and my friend booked a hotel through reservation stay and we requested 2 beds, when we arrived to the hotel we found out it was only one bed and very small room and the were told by the hotel that the booking agency made the mistake, I complained to the booking agency that the customer service person didn't seem to care or to help getting a different room. I would never recommend them. They are horrible. I will never book through them again and they have no respect to their customers, much better to book through the hotel directly.

I requested two rooms. I received only one reservation which was overpriced. I requested a cancellation. However, I was charged twice and only received one credit. Trying to get an issue resolved both over the phone and by email is impossible. You receive. Generic responses. I now have to dispute the transaction thru my credit card provider.

I was in a hurry to book and thought I was on the actual hotel website. I found later that not only was it not the correct sight but I was being charged 50% more than the rack rate for the room. When I discovered this I tried to cancel, since I paid for a reservation that was able to be flexible. With their fees it was not really flexible since we would receive less than half of our prepaid reservation back.

I called to make a reservation the Agent was all over the place which should have been a clue. She then made my reservation, not for the day I requested but the day that I called. I noticed it while she was on the line and asked her to correct it. I realized later that instead of adjusting the reservation she then made a separate reservation for a much higher number than quoted. She transferred me to customer service which was closed. I then called back to have it changed and they said that the reservation had no cancellations or modifications. I asked to speak with a manager and the rep said that there is no reason to speak with a manager because they will tell you the same thing. They are ridiculous. Never book with them.

I did a Google search for Hyatt Hotels & this site came up 1st. I thought it was the official Hyatt site. But no…so when I tried to cancel my reservation I couldn't get my money back. Basically NO Refund ever for no reason!

If I could give 0 stars I would. We thought we were booking directly through the hotel website and instead led us to Reservation Stays website to book. When we went to cancel the hotel room because the event the hotel was hosting was canceled so we no longer needed the room, they refused to cancel and give us our money back. We tried calling multiple times and were put on a 70+ person waiting list for a call back. Definitely be more careful when booking a hotel room and make sure you don't end up on this website.

First off they come up in the searches with the hotels name so it is very misleading as you think you are working with the hotel not a third party. 2nd they make the booking process confusing and riddled with upsells which makes it hard to understand what just happened. 3rd its customer service reps are not there to really help and they just are trying to manage the calls as they have no control over trying to help a consumer with any problems. Go with a reputable company as the extra $10 will save you a lot of heartache. I have not had problems booking travel regularly online and enjoy supporting different companies that are online. It is unfortunate that this company is not able to help their customers if something does not work correctly on its site.

I booked a motel in wrong state (Illinois) in error, called customer service immediately, tried to get them to book motel in state I was in (Washington), would not, could not? Do it. Would not call motel in Illinois to cancel error, would not refund moneys. Told by customer service agent to send my hotel receipt for a full refund. Did that, said no and closed file. No discussion. Called customer service got hung up on, called back 10th in line and was told, No. Policies will not allow refund. Beware

I needed 2 room with 2 queens. They could only provide me 1 room with 2 queen and 1 room for 2 people. I explained I had 8 people and that would not work. While on the phone I even told him I see you have CHARGES pending on my card. You need to reserve I did not approve OH I SORRY. Bull charges are now being am disputed through credit card company. I have many emails with THEIR Cust Svc who was NO help just claimed they reviewed and closed the file. What a ripe off company and a pain.

I made reservations using this site and found out two weeks before my stay that I could not cancel and get a full or partial refund. They have a no refund policy. I will never use this site again. IfbI could give it zero stars I would.
