I made my reservation then I read the reviews which made me worry a lot thinking that it's a scam. So I promised to make this review if everything goes well. And it did! The whole process went through very smoothly
Tricked into using their site when I thought I was using the hotel site to book. Up-charged massive fees and "tax recovery" BS. Within 24 hours, I realized my mistake and when I called to cancel, I spoke to 3 different service representatives who gave me 3 completely different explanations. They assured me a supervisor would review my complaint because they would not allow me to cancel. I forced the 3rd rep to cancel and was told I would not receive a refund. My cost was $1,578.26. They sent me a voucher for 1/2 of the initial price. To use in the future. They are a joke, but they seem to be getting away with it so far. I disputed the charge with my credit card company and was told there have been other complaints about them. AVOID THIS VENDOR AT ALL TIMES.
All I wanted to do was edit the dates of my trip. I sent an email, they said I couldn't edit but I could cancel without a fee. I asked them for the Terms of Service agreement where it stated that I could not edit as I did not see this at the time of booking and they completely ignored me.
DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM. They book through Hotel Beds also - I called Aria, and they said the res was booked by Hotel Beds, so they probably get rooms from 3rd party sites and up sell for profit or something.
Tip for consumers:
Don't use this site to book your trip.

They trick you into believing that you are on the hotel official web site - in this particular case Hilton. They charge you more than the prices on the Hotel website. Bunch of CROOKS.
Tip for consumers:
Be careful, make sure you are on the Hotel official site.

I SEND AN E-MAIL TO THE SUPPORT GROUP AND THEY STATED I AM WRONG AND I AM NOT ALLOWED TO CONTACT THEM ANY FURTHER. DO NOT RESERVE ANY HOTEL WITH THEM.

Was desperate to book a last minute hotel stay and thinking I was using bookings.com. My original hotel canceled reservation in person due to the refugees coming to NYC. My original hotel turned into a shelter. This hotel reservations was suppose to be for my daughter's 17th birthday celebrations with her friends. I spoke with someone from what I know learnt is reservations stay and booked a room at "The Stewart Hotel" in the heart of Times Square NYC upon arrival to the hotel I showed them my reservations and to no avail they couldn't find any trace of the reservations. The rep at the hotel said because they were short staffed and it's showing their name and a actual hotel they would honor it and all I had to pay was $300 refundable to me after check out. Days after I checked my account not only did reservations stay took $215.99, The Stewart Hotel charged me $292.99 plus the $300 fee. I called my bank to let them know that the booking company charged me $215.99 but wasn't honored when I arrived at the hotel. Now it's being investigated. I'm so freaking upset especially reading everyone's review I really feel robbed. I called up reservations stay and spoke (Michelle) a rep who hung up on me after I told her my bank is investigating them. I called back spoke with (Anjo) who apologized and said someone can call me back or email which would I prefer I told them email so I can have proof for my bank that I reached out. So disheartening they need to get these people in jail or court and everyone who have proof such as myself needs to be compensated and refunded.

Reservationstays.com is a scam. Four months ago, I clicked on an online ad made to look like the legit hotel company's ad. Ended up calling to make a reservation with someone who struggled to understand me and input the info I gave them. I had a bad feeling after hanging up and decided to cancel. When I called back (within the hour), I was told the reservation was non-refundable and they hung up. Tried again twice, no answer. Third time, was again told it was non-refundable. I told them I was reporting this as fraud to my credit card company. They hung up. I called my credit card company and was able to shut the card down before anything was charged. Fast forward to today, when I found a confirmation in my spam folder for the Snaptravel /reservationstays.com reservation. I called the hotel directly and they said I had a reservation through Booking.com that they could not cancel. Sooo... it looks to me like Snaptravel and reservationstays.com are taking info by phone and making reservations in the caller's name on legit sites like Booking.com. Since you don't know this, you're stuck dealing with them. Fortunately, when I told the hotel rep what had happened (and that my card had been canceled and there would be no reimbursement coming for the Booking.com reservation in my name), they overrode the "No cancelling third-party reservations" policy and cancelled my stay.

My experience is similar or identical to everyone here. Seems like you are booking directly to the hotel. No where in the booking does it identify a name for a third party booking agency. Hotel didn't know who they were either. Texted me a fake confirmation number. I went back and printed the actual purchase receipt and itinerary. No third party name on that either. Called my credit card company. Says was billed directly from the hotel. Hotel front desk cannot help because it's a third party. Finally after 24 hours trying to find out who I gave my credit card information to, I found a clue in one of the emails where it says do not reply to this email, it listed THE NAME of who not to reply to. It's the only area where the name is listed of the third party booking agency. Or in this case scam artists. Nice transparency right? I Contacted them. They said they started a "ticket" for my case. Doubt it. Emailed me back a few times to ask simple questions about details I had already given them. Then waited. Emailed me back, denied. If you try to email back it bounces back ticket closed.
At this point, especially after reading all these complaints, it's time for these customer severce disaster companies to be erased.

Stay away! They booked the wrong hotel, completely 100% their error, and will not refund the room cost.

I made a reservation via telephone, asked if the Resort Fee was included, and was told that everything was included. Then I called the hotel directly, and the hotel told me that this was not true, when I called them back they told me that I had to pay the Resort fee and that they were not going to give me the money back or assume that cost.

They overcharged my credit card, I tried disputing it and they said I agreed to the terms, by the time it was said and done it would have been cheaper to book directly through the motel.

Reservationstays.com is a fraudulent company! I got a room for the price they stated, but there are over $200 in fees and a tip. They never sent an invoice with pricing so you have no idea about the fees until you see the charge on your card after the 24 hour cancellation period. I emailed Reservation Stays twice asking for an invoice and they would never provide one. I disputed this with Capital One and when Capital One reached out only then did they send an invoice showing pricing (see attached picture)…I got the room for what they stated but again $168 in taxes and fees and a $34 tip. Because reservation stays provided an invoice to Capital One. Capital One denied my dispute and closed my case stating I couldn't prove that the pricing was different. I can't prove it because I never got it! Capital One is also useless because you are not protected if you are charged fraudulently from a transaction online.
From the documentation that reservations stays sent to Capital One, I do you see that they do business and or two other names Snap Travel and Wise travel Inc.

I was booking a block of rooms for a group. Initially, not told that the rooms were non-refundable. Once I asked about it, they became 'refundable' for a week after booking. When I said, I'm sorry, I'll book online because I see they are refundable online up until 24 hours before travel date, the agent suddenly found 'refundable' rooms. RED FLAG #1. As I proceeded through the process, I gave my CC. The charges were going through immediately and the CC company was asking for verification. I had this feeling in my gut. RED FLAG #2. I received my confirmation in email form. I thought phew. This was legit. Then realized I was charged in USD$ when travelling in Canada to a Canadian hotel and suddenly this 'deal' was actually WAY more expensive. I was on the line with the agent still and asked to cancel everything -- all refundable right? She said, she would 'transfer' me. After 3 min on hold. She said oh, everyone must be busy. Here's the direct number to make changes. RED FLAG #3. The direct number goes to a machine that sends you in a loop. RED FLAG #4. One of my rooms came through as non-refundable when that was NOT the arrangement. I found a different number to call and when I speak to the agent there, I receive a boilerplate paragraph about how it's a legitimate company and she is sorry but she can not make modifications to the reservation because they have a verification system. She will not answer questions. RED FLAG # 5. The hotel has verified I do have one room there but I can not get out of it or get a refund even though this is what I specified in booking. There is no recourse with the credit card company because I am receiving a product for my money.

When I initially booked my reservation I thought I was booking with the actual hotel. I have made it a habit to book directly with the facility I am interested in versus a third-party. It wasn't until I contracted Covid and needed to cancel my reservation that I found out I didn't book directly with the hotel. So my first disappointment is how they camouflage their entity and have you thinking you are booking with the hotel directly. I called the 800 number which is provided in the confirmation email. That number was invalid. I communicated with my credit card company and the phone number that they have was also invalid. I went ahead and wrote an email days before my reservation explaining my situation. When I checked my email for response a day later I found two emails from them one telling me that the rapid antigen test wasn't valid and two that my case was close because I didn't respond. Mind you this all happened within a span of 24 hours. At the end of the email telling me that my case was close it gave yet another number to call for further assistance which was also invalid. I attempted to write another email only to get an automated response telling me that the case was closed And to start another ticket if I need it for the assistance. In my email I provided all of my contact information no one ever attempted to reach out to me beyond the previously mentioned emails. I'm hoping that my credit card company does not pay them this company is a fraud they are taking advantage of people And tricking them into using their service. My advice is to book directly with your facilities so that you can receive proper customer service
