I made my reservation then I read the reviews which made me worry a lot thinking that it's a scam. So I promised to make this review if everything goes well. And it did! The whole process went through very smoothly
Tricked into using their site when I thought I was using the hotel site to book. Up-charged massive fees and "tax recovery" BS. Within 24 hours, I realized my mistake and when I called to cancel, I spoke to 3 different service representatives who gave me 3 completely different explanations. They assured me a supervisor would review my complaint because they would not allow me to cancel. I forced the 3rd rep to cancel and was told I would not receive a refund. My cost was $1,578.26. They sent me a voucher for 1/2 of the initial price. To use in the future. They are a joke, but they seem to be getting away with it so far. I disputed the charge with my credit card company and was told there have been other complaints about them. AVOID THIS VENDOR AT ALL TIMES.
I booked a reservation on Dec 27,2022 at 3 pm at the Hilton Garden Inn NE in Columbia, SC. I tried to cancel our reservation 23 hours later due to one of our party having COVID 19. I was unable to get a customer service agent by phone. I emailed to request the refund and was told that they were sorry about us having to cancel due to sickness but we would not be getting a refund due to their policy. I tried to call and email them again and received an email back stating that my ticket had been closed. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and have disputed this transaction with my bank. I thought that I was booking directly with Hilton Garden Inn NE in Columbia, SC but found out when I called to cancel my reservation that I had booked through a 3rd party. I see no address on the reservationstays.com website either. I will be sure to never book with this website again.

This is a fake website. They charged B of A Mastercard under Comfort Inn & Suites name and with a phone number *******737. No reservation at hotel. Hotel does not know them. Says they may be a third party booking company. They are a complete scam and credit card fraudster. Comfort Inn & Suites needs to take actions against this false company praying on their legitimate customers. They are easy to spot on the internet.
They say they will send a confirmation e-mail. Non Sent.

Contacted hotel directly to discuss our reservation. They have no reservation. Again contacted supposed "Reservation Stays" at *******328. They gave run around, fake dates and fake promises. They then hang up. STAY AWAY if you value your hard earned money and credit.

This site is a fraud. We booked Hotel 10 days ago and they sent us a mail of cancellation 2 days before arrival. We called them and they said it was the Hotel's fault. We called the hotel (Hilton) and told us that they had never canceled. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM

I booked through Reservation Stays, thinking I was actually booking through Hilton, and only after I submitted payment did I receive a confirmation saying the room had not windows. This WAS NOT MENTIONED prior to booking. When I called the hotel the next day, they had no record of my reservation. The company could not care less that I am now in a windowless room and that I have no confirmation number or any confirmation of my reservation. Customer service is completely unhelpful and the email department keeps closing my issue and saying it was resolved.

BEWARE! This company does not stand behind their promises. I cancelled reservations and received confirmation email but never got the $261 refunded on my VISA. After two calls to support I find I was scammed. The support people tell you to call the bank. The bank has no record of anything from Reservation Stays. Reservation Stays closes your ticket and I have no way to get my money refund. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY FOR RESERVATIONS OF ANY KIND

Peppermill reservations of $260.93 were cancelled. Confirmation email received from this Reservation Stay but money was never refunded. Twice I have called Reservation Stay support and they tell me it's my bank's problem as they processed the credit. Bank has no record; Reservation Stay takes no responsibility for not crediting my account. Peppermill Hotel tells me they cannot do anything because reservations were made thru Reservation Stay. Bottom line: I've been scammed by Reservation Stay. They immediately close the ticket as soon as my call is ended even though nothing is resolved! Even the phone number on the emails they send has a phone number no longer in service.

Purchased the $36 fee for full refund. They told me I had to use the application for the refund and then denied my refund because my application was incorrectly submitted. Complete scam! Buyer beware

So, *first*, their website came up when I Googled Holiday Inn Express, and it looked like Holiday Inn's website, so I didn't realize I was booking through a third party. Then when I showed up at the hotel, there was no reservation made. I figured out by looking through my emails that I actually booked with reservationstays.com and I called the customer service line. After several *hours* they told me it was fixed and I could go back to the hotel and check in, but they *still* didn't have a reservation on file for me. Turns out reservationstays.com made the reservation in Springfield, IL instead of Springfield, MO. I called and asked for a refund, and they said they don't provide refunds. I am currently contesting the charge with my credit card company. THESE GUYS ARE BASICALLY A SCAM. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Reservation Stay is a scam and keeps reaping people of money. Where in the world will you book a hotel ahead of time and your money is taken out your account right away. Even when a wrong room that the hotel doesn't have is booked. Where is our legislators that are allowing such business to exist in United States. RESERVATION STAY.COM IS A SCAM. Please be warned, do not book from there website else you will be scammed. Share this review to your friends and family please. DO NOT BOOK YOUR RESERVATION WITH THEM.

I would give ZERO or NEGATIVE stars on this review if I could! I booked a refundable hotel reservation (paid extra for the refundable option) on reservationstays.com thinking I was on the hotel website. When I tried to cancel, I received an email from someone named 'Pat,' that my booking was non-negotiable and nonrefundable. I emailed them back stating that I checked the 'refundable box' (I have proof), but no response. I tried the phone number that was supplied in the email, but it did not work. I called my credit card company, they gave me another phone number which also did not work, plus the number to the hotel chain. After a lot of time and effort, I was able to determine that this website charged the hotel $138.92 but my credit card was charged $226.24. So, of course, I submitted a dispute for this charge with my credit card company. These people need to be put out of business for their deceptive, unacceptable practices. Basically, they are thieves disguised as a legitimate service. Hope others do their homework and read reviews!

Don't use it!!! If you decide to cancel you will not be refunded. Cannot communicate with company and company pays the hotel 1/2 of what they charge you!!! BEWARE!!!

Buyer beware, when booking with reservation stays, their cancellation policy does not match that of the hotel you are booking. We reserved a room, paid up front, The concert we were to attend was cancelled a week prior. When I called the hotel they said I had up till 48 hours prior to cancel a reservation and receive a refund. They also stated they had no record of a payment on file.
Knowing I had already been charged for the room, I called reservation stays. Under the terms and conditions of the booking it stated I had until 11:59 pm on (4/24) to cancel the reservation and receive a refund. This happened to be the day I was canceling on.
In another location under the cancellation policy of the booking it stated my reservation was not able to be refunded after (4/16).
Well as it goes they are unable to move or refund my reservation because they claim (4/16) was the correct refund cut off date. And despite the contradictory information there is no variance from the (4/16) date.
Spend the extra $15 a night and book direct with the hotel, never through a 3rd party.

Somehow I thought we were calling the Marriott Hotel to book at one of their properties in Baltimore. Wrong. The ring of the phone should have tipped me off that wherever I was calling was out of the country. One customer service rep hung up on us when we were disputing the price that was posted on the site. That should have been another red flag to not call back, but no, not quite. When we called again, the 2nd person was very nice and so we forged ahead thinking at least we got this room, as it was a last minute booking on the day of reservation. We were promised breakfast, but it was not included, unless you call the bottled water and orange juice offered when complained about, that. We did discuss all with the manager who was also accommodating, she even put a note in the file to get a refund, but we were given the run around by Reservation Stays when we called them back. Couldn't speak to a supervisor, they refused to do a third way call (the hotel manager offered this), with the hotel to expedite the refund, couldn't get the ID # of the Rep we spoke to, we were given an email to send info to, for which we are still awaiting a reply. If we ever get one, I will let you all know.

The ABSOLUTE WORST experience in booking anything in my entire life! We purchased insurance for $25 and we had a one night reservation for my daughter's medical appt in Atlanta. Her appt was cancelled by the physician and we had to fight like crazy to PROVE my daughter w was sick, describe her illness and PROVE that the doctor referred her to the hospital in Atlanta. After doing that, they sent us a link to click on and they stated we could ONLY pick our savings or checking account to be refunded. They could not refund our monies back to our original
Payment form (credit card). This is when we really realized this was a HUGE SCAM! We LOST every penny from the room and the insurance money. I am currently reporting them to BBB. PLEASE! PLEASE! DO NOT BOOK WITH THESE PEOPLE!

I made a reservation with the "reservation
Center" of what I thought was my desired hotel. Reservation Stays booked me at a hotel that is not affiliated with my chosen hotel. (The hotels do not have similar names whatsoever.) The hotel where I was booked was not spoken by either party during our phone conversation. I contacted cust. Service and was told that although..."my situation is understandable...", I was not allowed to make any changes due to their "100% no cancellation or modification" policy. There is a cancellation policy available but I was not informed of either policy or given a choice. Our reservation is scheduled within 7 days. I do not understand why I cannot switch to the hotel that I originally asked for since it was Reservation Stays mistake. I have submitted a SCAM report to the Florida BBB. This website completely misrepresents itself. A photo of the hotel that I had stayed at previously was shown with the correct name and listed a reservation phone number. I thought that I was talking directly to my chosen hotel reservation center.
I'm sure that I will be filing a dispute with my credit card company. Why is this company still in existence?

Please contact your hotel directly and demand to schedule reservations directly through them. If the hotel tries to "direct your call" to the reservation line, tell them you will have to stay at another hotel that can help you directly.

Jetstar moved our flight by one day, wanted to change from 10th to 11th May at the Hotel, Reservation Stays say non negotiable non refundable (didn't want a refund, just a day change!) hotel were willing to change, Reservation Stays will cancel room, with no refund plus a $30 cancellation fee! I used Google to search the name of the hotel. It appeared that I was on the hotel site and I selected BOOK NOW! Next thing I know, I have a room reserved and the confirmation reads NON REFUNDABLE. I do not understand how I was connected to Reservation Stays. Six weeks before the stay, my daughter suffered an injury that would not allow us to travel. The representative reads from her script that it is non-refundable. I explained that I never contacted or searched this site to make my initial reservation. TOTAL SCAM! They manipulate the sites to charge you for reservations. A supervisor was NOT available to talk to me... big surprise. They are thieves! I asked if I was cancelling my reservation due to a family medical issue more than a month in advance: What happens to my money? Where does it go? DO NOT USE RESERVATION STAYS! Be careful when you are making an online reservation. There should be a Class Action Case against them. This service manipulates, steals, and does NOT care about customers. Hotels should not partner with these companies. Google should monitor these manipulations of people through their sites. AWFUL! THIEVES! I cannot even rate them ONE STAR because this is so unethical.

Customers think they are booking a reservation directly with a hotel; however, the BOOK NOW takes customers to Reservation Stays. The confirmation states NON REFUNDABLE. Reservation Stays is an unethical business that manipulates and steals from customers. They are thieves! Where does our money go when you have to cancel for a medical issue more than 6 weeks before the reservation? Do not use this company. Hotels and Google should better monitor this process and these companies!
