I got a couple dresses from Retro Stage about a week ago and already I love these dresses! The pictures on the site don't do them justice, they are amazing quality with such vibrant colors :D I definitely recommend them to any one who is looking for a vintage style but at an affordable price with good quality, I will be buying from them again :D
I love this company. I am having a 1920s themed birthday celebration next year and have been searching for the perfect dress. I was spoilt for choice! The dress I received was well made and completely as described, and extremely good value. Customer service was very good, I was informed of there being a delay and offered a refund. As I was in no rush, there was no problem. The dress arrived a few weeks later, only days after it was shipped. I have since ordered a second dress and am getting my daughter to chose one too.
I ordered two dresses on December 2nd to wear for the New Year and paid for expedited shipping as I was only going to be at that address for another two weeks. One dress arrived but the second one didn't. I have been trying to get a refund for three months now. They are saying they won't give a refund unless I can provide a tracking number. But I NEVER received the dress. The tracking number they sent me to track that dress says it was unable to be delivered and was returned to the sender--them! Yet they still refuse to give me a refund for something I never received and was returned to them!
Besides that, the dress that did arrive I wanted to return and I JUST got that money back this past week.
The quality of the dresses is low, but since I was going to use this for a costume I was fine with it. I'm not fine with the fact that you can't get anyone who speaks English/is willing to help. I want my money back. This is beyond ridiculous.

Horrible. Company in china. Ordered my Halloween costume on October 12th. Received it in DECEMBER. Company fought me on return and I had to eat the purchase. Save yoyrsettge rip off and order elsewhere.
I love this dress! It was totally worth the wait. It took about a month but came in a nice package. It was totally a wonderful dress because of the breezy, light, comfy material. The pattern was very fun with the flamingos. (Got the 1950s flamingo swing dress) I will definitely order again and highly recommend their wonderful, creative clothes!

I only received half of my order, and haven't even gotten a email that the other half had shipped. One was a 1950s dress I wanted to wear for Christmas. No email saying it was not available, just nothing. I paid for expedited shipping. Don't do it, it's a joke.
I will say the 20s dress is absolutely beautiful and at least I will have it for New year's Eve.

I had ordered a bundle(dress, accessories, and cape) for an event at was 2 weeks away. I checked the shipping before ordering that said it would take 6-10 days. I received a link to write a review and once I read the reviews I became concerned. The US number doesn't work and my shipment was spilt. I even wrote a nasty email. Today I got my dress exactly one week after I ordered. Because it was from a China I wasn't expecting a lot. The dress is heavy and lined. It's a really nice piece. It isn't like a costume it's like a dress. I revived the accessories and I'm still waiting for the cape. But so far I'm extremely pleased. I'm small framed and 5'2 it's a little too big even with the style being loose but it's manageable.
I've order from here before and LOVED the product and shipping speed. Needless to say, that is not the case this time around. Not only did my 3 items (dress, pedicoat shirt, and heels) never arrived, over 2 months late, but they have been refusing to give me my refund. Not only that but the had the nerve to say that if they do refund me, I have to pay them back if my package ever arrives. They finally agreed to a refund over a week ago and I still have not received my $130 back or the package. I am furious and I will not be shopping here again.

About half of the clothes I've ordered fit well and are good quality. I've had to return a dress because it is too small. I love the clothes that I've kept - they are well made, of very good quality fabric and fit nicely. My advice is to order slightly larger than you measure. My waist is 40" and I find that the 3X or 4X fits - you have to check the measurements for each outfit carefully. I've tried to leave comments on their website (mostly good comments) but they don't show up. Not sure what is going on there. They send your order IMMEDIATELY - there's no waiting! But if you make a mistake and have to return something, you will lose big-time. You'll have to pay for postage coming and going. You end up with a big loss of something doesn't fit. So order carefully.
Love this dress so much! I ordered it in a large as I am a 36C and this dress does not stretch and it fit perfect. I'm 5'6 without heels and it was a little bit long even with heels and gets tangled up when walking up and down the stairs so I'll be cutting a bit of the bottom off. I bought this dress for New Years and will be ordering a different one for my 20s themed birthday in March. My mom loved my dress so much she's also ordering one!

Absolutely do not purchase any items from retro stage! I purchased Express shipping, it took 8 days before they even sent my order, then they didn't even send my whole order. I still haven't recieved it 20days later. Costumer service is beyond rude and will not give me a straight answer on anything!
The dress I ordered got here in time for my theater production I was a little worried. I didn't expect the Dress to be High quality and it wasn't, but perfect for the stage. It was as featured and did not disappoint. Thank you.

I bought this very affordable dress to wear to a wedding. I really like this dress. There is a good amount of stretch to the fabric and the dress hugs in the best places. FYI- I cut the little tacked threads in the center of the bust to open up the cleavage and it makes the dress look more like the advertised image. Also note that you can not iron this dress. I just sprayed with water and smoothed out the wrinkles. Do not tug on the wet fabric, it will miss shape the dress. All in all a very pretty and affordable dress. I would purchase again in another color.
I bought a dress from this website. The dress was advertised as orange in color and fishtail design. It was neither. It was red with peach flowers and not fishtail. The material is thin and more like a beach coverup. The sizing was off by a lot, probably because it was manufactured in China which tends to be smaller. I requested a refund and accept a return which they refused, basically telling me tough luck. I would not recommend ordering from them based on my experience.

After giving a wrong email address by accident, I talked to customer service to figure out the problem since I didnt know at the time that the wrong email was the issue. The customer service was fantastic. The kind lady helped me figure out the issue and gave me my shipment info on my dress. She always got back in less than a day too so the response time was also amazing. Bought a dress from them before and the quality was great for the price and I'm sure this dress that I ordered will be the exact same way too. Will be purchasing again in the future.
Ould return the product within 15 days of receiving it... I FEAR I WILL NEVER RECEIVE IT! They literally just took my money. Oh AND I keep receiving auto generated emails from them asking to write a good review for them and I'll receive a 15% discount. I never received my full order to begin with.
I want a refund for the two dresses I have yet to receive: 57.54. I would also like for it to be clear that this company is obviously not based in the US and it's website and address make it seem to be. The obvious copy/paste responses are irritating and frustrating. If this was a US based company this would not be an issue even with shipping from warehouses all over the globe. I don't think that asking for just the refund of the amount of two never received items is to much to ask for.

Answer: XL is a Uk size 14 you have to look at the measurements not the Uk and Us sizes as they are a bit out. The sizing chart is at the bottom of the page of the required item go by the cm, s or inches

Answer: It's coming from China and takes 60 days… they add a s"order shipped but it's not shipped… it's a scam sight. Call your bank and dispute the charges.
Answer: I would say yes, China sizes. I ordered 2PCS White Blouse Top & Suspender Pants - White / XL / 10~12 and the size was smaller than a 10, about an 8, but you couldnt wear the pants anyway, so doesnt matter. They list XL as 10-12 but i would still size down and with how the pieces vary greatly, that might still be false.
