Ordered a cute looking dress for $60 AUD. Firstly, I recently noticed they've been stealing photos from smaller retro companies to use on their site, most of the photos on the site are not of their products. Secondly, it took months to arrive, and I didn't expect it to be in all Chinese (even the tracking data). When it did arrive I was really upset, it was on the day of the event. The material is cheap, and doesn't match the photos, the stitching is very messy and in the wrong places, there are loose threads everywhere and the sizing is all wrong. A total waste of money and terrible customer service.

Awesome

Wasn't sure if it was a real site but it sure was. Took 16 days (12 working days) from I ordered to I got it in the mail, and I was able to track it all the way from China to Norway. The dress is just like the picture, and the quality seems good. A little big in size, but the 20s dresses are not supposed to be slim fit.

Amazing

I came across retro stage by accident but I'm so glad I did. The website was way to use the clothe are amazing and very fast delivery time. Iam very impressed by retro stage and can't wait to buy more clothe from them.

PRODUCTS NEVER RECEIVED

I ordered products from this site April 10,2024. I kept in constant contact with customers service about my packages. I received 2 out of 3 of my packages from this one order. I never received a notification that my last package was delivered until 2 days later. When they did send me proof of delivery, they pictire showed thar delivery person did not put my package on my porch nor attempt to knock on my door. Retrostage said they fulfilled their obligations. They wont so anything about it. Horrible customer service, because I had to make them aware of my order several times, 2 months of going back and forward with them. The location the delivery person put the package at made it accessible for anyone to pick it up from the side walk. The delivery person did make an attempt to even walk up a few steps or near my steps to put my package or toss the package on my porch. Therego the horrible customer service.
Very displeased and disappointed with this company and the delivery company they used. They stated it will take 15 days to ship and get the products but it been over 2 months.
That means money loss on my end. You guys dropped the ball on this order and I'm highly disappointed in the service I received from you about this order.
Never again will I order or make referrals to use this website.

Terrible quality. Cheap garbage made in China. Dreadful customer service. Don't waste your money on Communist made rubbish of the lowest quality. Total ripoff looks nothing like the photos on the website.

Brought a couple of dresses for an event. Due to covid it was cancelled. The dresses are gorgeous but I had purchased 3 and needed to keep 1. I thought the process was going to be long and complicated living in Canada and shipping to the US. Bree, customer service representative, made it quick and easy and most important hassle free.
No problem from start to finish. AMD the dress was amazing lots of compliments

I would NEVER EVER, EVER order from this company again. I ordered 2 dresses back in March for an event. I kept one dress and sent 1 back. The process is AWFUL to go through. They first try to keep your money and issue you a "credit" toward future purchases. When you say "No" they offer to give you the item you want to return for a lower price. Then when you go back and say "No" again, they take several weeks to get back with the info on where and how to return items. After going through all of this, it has been 6 weeks since I priority mailed the dress back... AND STILL NO MONEY. All of this to get $40 back?! Really?!

A real dream dress

3/4 sleeve 1950s lace off shoulder dress

I ordered this dress in August and got it to Finland this week, shipping took maybe a bit longer than I expected but the dress is a real dream! Soooo beautiful! When taking it out from the package it might not look much - the real effect comes when you put it on. I'm 5"7 and usually wear US10-12, picked size XL for this dress. A bit loose from the top but it's not the dress's fault. The fabric is quite thin but I'm so glad I bought a petticoat to wear underneath, the dress looks so much better with it. The lace seems to be good quality, so neat and beautiful. The wine red color is also so nice! I'm going to wear this to a wedding soon and it makes me feel so pretty!

I would not comment on the slow delivery if the items were as described. I ordered two dresses, and the material quality was very dissapointing to say the least. The material is like paper, or better to say, like plastic. Would not recommend. I sent a mail to get a full refund if i return the items, no answer yet. If and when they get me a refund, the rating will go up a little bit.

Who is lying?

I find it very interesting that the only way to get a timely (or any) response from this company is to write a bad review. Let me recap: I emailed Retro Stage on 11/22 saying that I wanted to return an item because it is too small. No response. I email again on 11/26. I get an automated response about being out of the office until the 28th. I email back saying that this was my second email already. No response. I post a bad review on this site, and all of a sudden a response--and not a truthful one. You claim that you emailed me on the 28th "as promised," but you did not. I checked all of my folders, including spam, and no emails from your "customer Service dept" exist. And now, on this site you want to offer assistance? I already told you that the item is too small AND the second item mailed to me is also too small and I would like to return that as well. We might as well communicate here, as you won't email me directly.

I have written a total of 4 emails and one chat (that was never responded to). I received a generic email from "Sammy" claiming to be off for the weekend, but has yet to respond, and it's Wednesday over there. I need to return an item and cancel another. However, from the reviews I have read from other sites, it does not look promising. I'll be filing a claim with my cc company and complain to the BBB. Stay away from this Bogus company!

Great Retro Dresses

I ordered 2 dresses for my daughter. They arrived quicker than expected, and customer service was great in giving us updates on shipping status. The dresses arrived well packaged, clean and beautiful. They are exactly as decribed and pictured. You cannot beat the price eaither for a fun, good quality retro dress. I highly reccommend Retro Dresses. We will be ordering more in the future.

Pretty Dresses

Misleading

I was very hesitant ordering from here! Let me tell you trust your gut! I order and dress late November To wear for New Year's Eve it was cheap and looked nice on the website. I decided to pay to have it expedited just so It was here on time. About a week later I got an email that it shipped I could not track it even a week later after receiving an email so I decided to send them an email and see where my dress was... turns out they are out of stock! So not only did they lie and say my dress shipped they weren't even going to notify my that they didn't even have it in stock! No where on the website did you it say my dress was out of stock! I even went that night and put the same dress and size in my cart and still nothing saying that dress was out of stock! I asked for a full refund immediately and ordered a better dress on amazon and guess what the amazon came 2 days after I ordered it! I advise that you never buy from this scam of a website!

I bought a dress from the site, I thought it would be much different from picture, but to my surprise, it's the same as the picture and the quality is so good. About the delivery, yes, it's a little bit slow. Then I contaced their customer service, they told me it'sout of stock, and it will be sent out when it's in stock, and told me to wait about 14 days. Then I got it on 13 day. Their customer service is so kind and reliable. Recommend!

This dress was very classy. I just had a baby and it was hard to find a flapper dress that covered my arms a little better and wasn't extremely form fitting. This made me perform very confidently. Great find!

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! Customer service is ridiculous. Give the same answer when inquiring about my order. When tracking my order, it says no information available. The company keeps telling me it's on its way. I ordered this in time for Halloween and I still don't have it. Unfortunately I didn't know this before I ordered it again and I ordered a Christmas dress and it's orange not red. The material is extremely cheap. I love the styles but I'm urging you do not order from them.

My dress arrived within 2 weeks with expedited shipping. Customer service rep, Bree, was very helpful in answering my questions. It's important to keep checking your tracking info to keep up-to-date on the shipping.
I was so excited when the dress arrived. It was in mint condition and so beautiful. Even better than the pic. I can't wait to wear it. I ordered a S as I'm 5'4 and 110lbs. It fit perfectly but needs a hem and a little alterations, taking in on the side. Otherwise, it is perfect.

I ordered two dresses. The lining was too short on both of them... when I raised my arms half of my backside was visible. When I emailed about returning the team told me that since I would have to pay return shipping they would be happy to just return $10 to me (I spent over $50). I told them that wasn't acceptable and I'd prefer to return them. They asked me to send a picture of the dresses to confirm the condition of them. I did that and I never heard back from them. Also, one of the dresses didn't even have a tag on it out of the bag. I would not trust this company or order from them.

I didn't have time to shop for a dress for my husband's company party, so I jumped online to see if I could find one online. Eventually I find the red lace dress on Retro-Stage. I received SO many compliments and found myself loving the dress more than I expected.
