Placed order on 6/8 & it finally arrived on 7/15. Terribly frustrating on the delivery part. Given a track number that just showed it sitting in China since 6/27. Checked one last time today & tracking number suddenly showed it was to be delivered today. The dress is beautiful & fits perfectly! The trick to this site is to order at least 8 weeks before you actually need the item.
Bought a dress, it arrived and it is so cheaply made and completely ridiculous! Frays everywhere terrible stitching and nothing like the picture! "Bree" (apparently the only customer service rep they have) offered $8 refund and keep this dress I can't wear or I return at my own expense for a full refund. I am going to ask for a full refund and ship it back, its about principle for me now.
I ordered this dress for my first daughter's wedding, after she had already ordered all her bridesmaid dresses. She had such a good experience she wanted me to order my mother's dress through this website. They guaranteed shipping between seven and 10 business days with expedited paid shipping. I did so and to this day still have not received my dress. The wedding is in two days most likely I'm going to have to go out tomorrow to buy a different dress. Absolutely unsatisfied and when I emailed them about the situation all I received was a return email giving me a different website to track my shipping telling me the same thing, that my package still had not been delivered to them! I want my money back. Make sure you order months in advance to make sure you get your dress when you need it

Hassle to return items. No communication unless the customer initiates it. Over a month later my return was delivered I'm still waiting for a refund. In this day of Amazon and outstanding customer service no one needs this headache.

I was looking for a particular kind of dress for a show and found the perfect one of Retro Stage. When I saw the price I expected the quality to be pretty poor but I knew it had the right look, so I went ahead and ordered, hoping it would be ok and expecting I might need to do some work on it. When the dress arrived (taking less time than expected, which was a bonus) I was so impressed with the quality and the fit. Such pretty fabric. I have not washed it and it came out of the wash without fading or anything.
I will definitely be shopping with Retro Stage again.

Beautiful sequins. Very detailed, rather on the large side, I ordered a small. I'm 5'7 and 140 pounds. The length is long enough for heels but it is large in the waist and shoulders. Will need to get tailored.
I ordered this beautiful dress in XXL and it was too large so I ordered the XL and it fit perfect. It is stretchy so you can have forgiving room for larger hips and stomach. Some of the fringes and couple beads were inside the bag when I received it. But for the money it's worth it. I am 5'3" 183 lbs not an athletic body. I ordered 6 dresses before deciding on this one. Taking this dress on a cruise for 1920's night.

The dress is what set off my need for a party. Had to have somewhere to wear it. The first time I put it on was fabulous. It looked and felt great. As it was long, I decided to shorten the front so the back was like a train. As was the style. I am short, almost 50 and the dress was wonderful. I sure hope I can find another time to wear it. There sizes are true. Take your measurements if you want the right size to arrive. Don't guess.
I just received my 5th dress from Retro Stage. As always, so beautiful. I ordered the 1950's 3/4 length sleeve wine dress. It ties at the neck in the back. The fabric is absolutely scrumptious! Thank you so much! I shall be ordering more for sure!

I made the mistake of shopping here, I received my first order and nothing fit. I used the measurements from their website and the quality of the clothing was cheap. After several emails they finally send a refund! Unfortunately I bought a second dress before the first order came in and it never arrived! They had the nerve to tell me to pick the dress up in a different state and return it! I never got my refund! This business is a complete scam!
I truly didn't think this site was legit considering the number of people giving it negative reviews. It takes a bit longer to ship, but it's really worth it. I get so many compliments from people about my outfits. Some were a little big, but nothing a bit of pins can't fix!

I was skeptical when I read some of the reviews. But I am so glad I didn't listen to them. This dress is absolutely gorgeous. Well worth the money I paid for it. I ordered and paid (PayPal) for a dress and waited and waited. When it appeared something had gone wrong as 12 days had passed without a word I contacted them by replying to the order email. They said my size was out of stock and apologized for not getting back to me sooner. I requested a refund and got my money back in my account in under 24 hours. They were polite and responsive once I brought my problem to them.

I am an hourglass, standard size 10 for context. I ordered two dresses using Retro-Stages sizing chart and accidentally ordered the wrong size for a third. None of the dresses fit properly. The two dresses I ordered in the appropriate size, had odd sizing issues such as arm holes being too big and the waist being too small, I didn't try on the third, it was a small. Pass. I sent three emails and reached out over Instagram. I needed customer service, I was told over Instagram to send an email to the email address I had already sent an email to...And that is the only communication I have received with my three emails and three Instagram comms in five weeks. I am guessing the ill-fitting, and I do have to add poorly constructed from less than impressive material dresses are apparently mine to keep. It was not a good purchase.
I just wanted to say thank you for my order! I know it took awhile (a month) but it was worth it! I was worried because when I read the reviews after I ordered, everybody kept saying that this business is a fraud, etc. but I received my dresses yesterday, and they were amazing! Great quality etc! I would def buy again!

I ordered a small size dress and received a XXL. After a number of emails with their joke of costume service, nothing happened. Not money back, neither correct size of the dress. So I got stuck with a bad quality oversized dress (by the way in the pics the dresses looks nicer than they really are). Please save yourselves the pain if something goes wrong and spend your money in a trustworthy store

They have charged me for an item that I did not receive. They keep telling me they have sent a refund but refuse to provide the bank confirmation and my bank has not received the funds. The items that were received were such poor quality. Avoid this site, they're impossible to deal with and fraudulent.

It came around a week after ordering, and looked great upon opening. It's pretty decent material, and the petticoat is as poofy as you'd expect one to be. It's a bit big though. Would love for you to make a size xs.
The Dresses are beautiful and exactly as they look in the pictures. I bought a 1920's dress and was worried about the fit but they have so much stretch in them they fitted Just perfectly. Answer: XL is a Uk size 14 you have to look at the measurements not the Uk and Us sizes as they are a bit out. The sizing chart is at the bottom of the page of the required item go by the cm, s or inches

Answer: It's coming from China and takes 60 days… they add a s"order shipped but it's not shipped… it's a scam sight. Call your bank and dispute the charges.
Answer: I would say yes, China sizes. I ordered 2PCS White Blouse Top & Suspender Pants - White / XL / 10~12 and the size was smaller than a 10, about an 8, but you couldnt wear the pants anyway, so doesnt matter. They list XL as 10-12 but i would still size down and with how the pieces vary greatly, that might still be false.
