Overall very good experience. They were able to setup the pickup and drop off quickly. The driver was responsive and sent updates before arriving. Do be aware to not load vehicles before shipping as there can be extra fees due to weight.
Return contact regarding customer concerns was non existent. It took 6 days instead of 3-5 days to get vehicle, I had an AirTag on my keys so I could see that my car remained in Dallas area for 2 days instead of being brought down to San Antonio in a timely manner. When assured that I would get a return call from Road runner I received an email instead.
Great Driver! Very complete. Called ahead of picking up the vehicle in Ca from myself and was so quick to get it to my daughter in AL. Made perfectly easy arrangements for a student to get car between classes. Great guy! I also asked him to check on the battery along the way and he did that too. So kind.
I was extremely satisfied with my experience. The driver was courteous and provided me with updates during his trip to reassure us that our vehicle was well taken care of. I would highly recommend this transport service again and plan on using them when I need another vehicle moved.
Customer service was great. They actually answer their phone unlike some of there competitors I shall not mention. The driver kept in contact. The vehicle made it in 1 piece. Price was fair for the service. I was overall impressed. They even worked with getting a a pickup date that would work with me which was important so I could fly to Cali to meet them. Great company I would use them again if the need arose.
No integrity, lack of customer service; disgraceful operation of an so called "Veteran" owned and operated business!"
*** BE AWARE ALL (99.2%) auto transport carriers work through BROKERS vs Independent Carriers. ***
Based on a quote 3 days prior pick up, I agreed to a "RESERVATION" and processed payment for a vehicle purchased which has disrupted my scheduled pickup from current owner; an notable inconvenience for both parties.
No attempt to contact either parties prior to execution date of pickup and the condescending response from their agent has ensured me their are still snakes in the grass.
After further research, finding out this company is operating under "Veteran Owned" company umbrella which lacks the basic core fundamentals for any and all active duty military personnel and veterans such as myself who steer away from predatory practices.

Lastly, AUTO TRADERS over priced options has turned my first transaction into a chaotic experience.
Not a legitimate company. They were running two days late picking up my car so I tried to cancel per their contracted cancellation policy and they refused to cancel. I disputed the transaction in an effort to stop them from picking it up. They picked it up anyway, essentially stealing it, before I could get a hold of the person who was releasing it to them. They then demanded cash to give it back to me. They are basically common thieves. Also, my car arrived filthy, with nearly flat tires and a dead battery.

I got an online quote and immediately I got the hard sell from Sean Dillon. Told him we were going to explore other options for now and that we had plenty of time and he told me this... That makes sense too. Since you're a shipping expert (who is going online getting quotes from random companies and using Uship which is a 4th party) ill unsubscribe and block your email praying you never use the website or contact us again. Good luck! Perhaps he was off his meds?

This is a horrible company. Once they have your order, you fall into a black hole and it is almost impossible to effectively communicate with them. They missed our car pickup date by 5 days with no indication of when the pickup would take place. In the end, we went with another company with guaranteed pickup and life was good. Pay the extra money for a professional service. This company will cause you nothing but grief.
Booked for my car to be shipped and gave them a ready day. 5 days pass by and I still haven't heard a thing from them. You try calling customer service and get passed around from one representative to another then the call will eventually drop. Most frustrating thing ever
This company has continued for several months to cheat me out of 150.00 claiming they came to pick up my vehicle when in fact the order was cancelled. Rob the customer service person I originally placed the order with is a terrible person telling me the company would refund my money, then not doing so. Please do no give this company your bank or credit card information over the phone. Even after my bank attempted to get the money refunded, Road Runner has refused to refund my money.
Getting them on the phone to make a sale they are VERY responsive. When there is an issue, no one returns calls or your asked to contact the website and hung up on. If you get lucky to actually get someone live, they have no idea how to contact your transport unless they contact you? My transport was delayed days and no one had an answer of where or why it was so. I spent allot of money to get the service and I was shocked they had no idea what they are doing and NO communication with their trucks. Please shop for many options before going with this company.
DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! They were unprofessional and shady, not to mention that they did not call before coming to pick up the cars. They arrived several days early at our destination and since they only take cash or check we had to scramble to get someone out there to pay him. And it doesn't end there. When we payed them they tried to cash our check twice. Besides that, when we tried to contact them about this they put us on hold then just hung up. For their credit, our cars, both of them, did arrive in fine condition although not on schedule. But other than that, I have no good things to say about this company.

As I said, we used their car transport. We could not contact them after and it was supposed to arrive around two weeks. Instead they drove from Utah to North Carolina in 3 days. There was also a language barrier between our driver and us, because of this it was almost impossible to communicate.
Stole $135 from us - "cancellation fee." Had scheduled transport of car. Carrier had not yet been assigned, & cancellation was made more than 30 days out. Had to sell said car due to COVID -19. No service provided to us, yet they still took $135 that we need for food & rent. We are disputing charge. What a racket/scam. Employee "Jenna" was a real peach on the phone - NOT.
I my name is Malcolm Anderson Never use Roadrunner again due to damage to my truck they would not pay for. Gave them estimates and photos but because I did not see damage when picked up they will not cover. Drivers positioned truck so as not to see. Truck was late
And almost dark. Call me at *******698
This review is solely on the senior customer service manager Pierce. He gave me all false information! He told me that my car would be picked up by a certain date took my deposit then canceled and said I had to wait and there isn't any solution but to wait a week. Even tho I have stressed countless of times that I'm paying $100 daily of storage fees. He promised guaranteed shipping and then said I had to pay even more money. Lies after lies! He refused to refund me my deposit and hung up on me several times. The worst customer service ever!

Im very upset!
This experience started out by them booking the pick up 2 weeks after they were supposed to pick up my car. So i had to call and get that straight. (Strike 1) then they have a driver call me and ask if he could pick up my car on sunday. I told him no they are closed. Then I asked are you going to be the driver to pick it up. (Driver) yes. (Me) if you will call me iI will save him a spot at park. Which is across the street from my house. ( driver) ok sounds great. Driver didnt pick up the car. (Strike 2) now am smart enough to know that drive contacted Road Runner and told them he was not going to pick up the car. But Road Runner didn't have the common courtesy to call and say sorry we will have to find another driver. They did call this morning, I'm not sure why, and had no idea what was going on. Have tried calling and never get a person, but get automatically hung up on. Online no nobody answers, nobody returns emails.
I called RoadRunner after another auto transport company stood me up a day before my move. I called so that I could speak to comeone directly and get confirmation that the car would be picked up prior to us moving, very quickly. Well, they assured me (and took my money). I went the entire scheduled pick up day (move day) with not one ounce of communication from RoadRunner, lol. No one ever called or showed up.
But they took the money in full upfront. It's honestly a genius business model for them, but as a customer, if you are moving, have a time frame or generally value your time... avoid these people at all costs. Yikes.
Tip for consumers:
Do not use RoadRunner

None because they ghosted me
Am so dissatisfied with Roadrunner services. My car was scheduled to be picked up tomorrow 3/15/2021; however, a carrier has not been assigned. Called the company clearly they close on the weekend. Automatate service say for real time updates and fast updates go online to chat with a representative. Well the the only thing about that is nobody's is available by chat and Carrier still say "pending". I have a flight that leaves on Tuesday morning. I have called and left messages and send email but have not heard from anybody.
I'm shocked. This business does not stand by their contracts. They charged my credit card when they said Trey would not charge me until we confirmed the reservation as I had a couple of uncertain details. Nevertheless, I was clear that my small suv needed to be transported from Virginia to a college campus in Tennessee and needed to be there on a certain da. That part was firm and would not change. I was willing to give them the car 10 days in advance but they determined the pick up date They charged my card before we firmed up 2 exact details, they called me to INSIST I buy insurance 2 days before scheduled pickup. And they day of pickup they would not answer my calls, e mails, live chats.
You can imagine the stress!
I called road runners to pre book a pick up for my 16 year old from work at 11.30pm. They took the booking and I stressed to them who is was for and out of the 5 booking 2 didn't bother to show up. When I spoke with the operator he said the drivers had better jobs to do. They didn't even call to say they wouldn't be picking him up. The only reason I went back for a second round of rubbish service is because the guy I spoke with the day after the first time was nice and gave us a free £10 journey to say sorry. I'll never use them again.
I booked an auto transport with this Broker. After booking I started seeing their horrible review everywhere and decided to cancel. I cancelled my booking within 4 hours.
Because they did not find a carrier for my yet, I assumed that they would not charge me a cancellation fee. They did however charge me a cancellation fee.
I decided to call the cancellation department to inquire about the fee, and was greeted by a very defensive employee who kept referring me to their policy. Their policy is 5 pages long. I am no lawyer and no expert in the kind of legal speak that their policy consists off. But according to the very confident person on the other end of the line, their policy clearly states that I would have to pay $135.
It would have been nice if this company would treat their customers better and have a policy that states that no pay is required if no service is rendered.
Customer is King? Not at Road Runner Auto Transport.
I received a quote of $985 from a roadrunner salesman. Called back to book and he said he needed to confirm my rate. I was placed on hold for about 15 seconds and he came back and told me that the actually cost of shipping my car was $1,095.
The $110 difference isn't a huge deal except for the fact that I believe a business should honor its commitments... it's a promise and this speaks volumes to the type of culture that exist within this company. I chose to find another carrier and paid a little less, with incredible service and turnaround.
The Guy on Sales Colin Petrik was rude because he did not hear what he wanted, he did not take the time to explain how the service works, just focused on justifying why the website gave me a quote for 680$ and then he changed it to 795$, they have to understand that many of us are not in the transportation services and we feel that this type of treatment generates doubts and discomfort. He thinks he is a winner because he answered me back saying that he disagrees with me and he thinks he did a good job. Well, I guess his career is not promising because I went with someone else.
While loading my car on the trailer the bell housing contacted the trailer structure and shattered! I was driving the car and the trucker was positioning planks to keep the car from bottoming out. Obviously unsuccessfully! When I went to file an insurance claim RR employee Jenna informed me that since I was driving the car the claim would be denied! She also said that the insurance would not cover mechanical issues! Do yourself a favor and stay away from these crooks!
I contacted this company to have my two vehicles shipped from Oregon to Arizona. The sales team was super responsive and I decided to book the job. As the date got closer I wanted to talk to the salesperson who helped me. I called his extension and left multiple messages. No callback, so I decided to call the company directly. It is impossible to get thru to anyone. It says there is an unusually high call volume and after about 15 minutes it literally hangs up on you.
Finally the day before the scheduled pick-up date, I started emailing them and I got someone to call me on the phone. They assured me that everything was confirmed for pick up the next day and that the driver would call me 2-3 hours before arriving. Guess what happened the next day, nothing. Can't get ahold of the company, they are closed tomorrow. I am flying with my family to move to Arizona and I have two cars sitting in the hotel parking lot. They have already taken my money. Disgusting.
Please do not use them. I scheduled a shipment to pick up my vehicle from Ohio and ship it to Florida. I expressly stated that the vehicle needed to picked up by Thursday because I would be gone for 3 months starting Friday morning. Thursday comes and goes. I placed 30 phone calls in 8 hours and did not get through once until I selected New Booking and then they answered and then transferred me to a voicemail. I paid $1000 that I now expect to be refunded and they will not even pick up the phone. Filing a chargeback first thing in the morning to get my money back that way. So, al in all... I will not be out any money but please take my warning and do not use them.
