Just initiated my transfer of holdings from Robinhood to Fidelity and am closing account immediately. Not being able to buy or access your own holdings to buy more is not lawful and I don't need them or trust them with my money. Wish I could give a negative star.

Been trying to close my account with robinhood horrible company. Horrible to their clients, don't fall for their scams of free Shares that they promise When you try to claim it, it will say that you receive it and there will be an error. I'm being forced to stay with them because Of there's crappy $3 share they give you that's worthless And you cannot withdraw it so you cannot close your account so be careful if you choose to use them still trying to close my account over 2 weeks and nothing

Fraudulent platform

Just a group of miscreants going about to deceive people online they will tell you that the platform offers insane profits only to steal from you at the end of the day, If you find yourself in this issue report on forensic-watch com they will take it up. They have wonderful service

Robinhood's website technology is extremely bad and worst is their customer service. I created an account and added my bank info. After 4 days of waiting I finally received the two micro deposits. When I went to their website to verify my deposits, the site stated that the amounts were incorrect even though they were correct. When I reached out by email to their customer and explained my situation I received message that I needed to entered my bank account info and wait for the micro deposits even though I fully explained what had happened. I rewrote message two more times and received from two other reps basically the same response. I believe their customer service may be outsourced to a different country. A new question poses. Do you really want to trust your financial information to an institution that sends your financial information to other countries? BTW, I do have copies of my email messages sent to Robinhood.

He has done nothing but lie to me. Go back on his employees word. At this point I have been trying to remove my funds for over a week now and they will not allow me too. They have been holding $1500 of mine hostage during a national shutdown for over a week. My wife and I both lost our jobs do to the shut downs and I thought well ok I'll just sell my stocks to hold us over till we can find work. Well at this point our power will be getting shut tomorrow because of there lies, we haven't been able to go grocery shopping. All they keep doing is switching me around, living to me and refusing and or keep extending the time for me to be able to put my funds back into my account. I have spent all week emailing back and forth from the time they open till the time they close and there story just keeps changing. I would highly suggest taking your business elsewhere!

Watch the fine print
October 9, 2019

App wasn't user friendly, but I used them for free trading. Now that everyone is offering free trades, this company will go out of business. They took forever to transfer my account, and charged me $75 in fees after I closed it. Run away!

Do not under any circumstance give these people your money. They are holding my money hostage right now which has cost me more than 3k while dealing with their useless customer service. They're not only incapable of getting me back into my account after my phone number changed, they won't reply with anything other than a copy and pasted email. Not only that, they'll send you the same one multiple times because the people you deal with directly make next to nothing, and then when you call them out and tell them to stop copy and pasting emails they just ignore you all together. They sent me the email in the image 3 times! This is the single worst company I've ever done business with, and second place isn't even close. This isn't like buying food from someplace and then choosing not to go back... these worthless a88holes still have my money. These people should be arrested.

For weeks now my account states that I have purchase restrictions, i. E. I can't make any purchases but I have no clue as to why. I'm a beginner investor and I don't even have much invested. I have not been involved in any pattern trading or anything else. I have just purchased individual stocks and one ETF. I receive the same boiler plate email response asking me if I still need assistance with my ticket. Every single time I email back stating once again that my case has never been addressed. It's like being in a black hole. I will need to close my account and go to another platform. I cannot build anything with Robinhood. How it has been weeks and still no help from customer service is completely beyond me. Don't bother with Robinhood!

I will never trust them with my money again. They need a customer service phone number asap and I can't believe they lasted this long with the horrible customer service they have. I had a debit card through them for maybe a few months before fraud Amazon charges started showing up on my account. It took them days to respond to emails while my money was gone. I disputed these charges and the electronic form I was sent was very glitchy/broken. Shortly after that, I started getting contacted by a fake debt collector that harassed me for months to "collect a debt on behalf of Amazon" and it didn't take long to figure out who they had collected my personal information from.

Absolutely horrible.
March 10, 2022

My account was locked due to a wrong pin. I changed my pin but then my entire account was shut down. I've provided all documentation to have my account reopened. And every single time they need something else. Worst experience. Customer service is absolute crap. Send your money somewhere else
