Hello, I am Seisimotic, on Roblox. I just want to say that Roblox is a good game, the problem is that, the news try their best to make Roblox look bad, also, the parents, they like to blame Roblox a lot, the thing is, there is this thing called 'Exploting'. Exploiting is a bannable offense and a player will be banned if caught exploiting (account deletion, poison or even IP ban, less likely a warning). Exploiters tend to use. BIN injecting, Lua bytecode, Proto Conversion, Lua Wrapping, and DLL Injection. FilteringEnabled has lead to the downfall of many exploits. Let's get to the positive stuff. Your child can learn the coding language called 'Lua'. It is a light weight, easy to learn coding language. Roblox has great games, such as 'The Mad Murderer 2', 'Welcome to Bloxburg' and many more that I can list. Back to the negative stuff. Let's talk about the reporting system, once you've reported a user because of them breaking the rules, the Roblox Moderation, won't do any thing about it. You see, you have to understand that the moderation is small, Roblox has over 1 Billion registered users, and Roblox cannot physically ban, warn, delete, etc. the reported users. Now you see why people say the moderation team is terrible? Also, buying the currency 'Robux', is pretty expensive, in my opinion, I thing this is because, Roblox needs money to make the Roblox website up and active.

I just wanted to say that parents should blame them selves and Roblox can be a good experience if you play it for long enough.

Cons:
-Lazy moderation team that only bans players that don't pay enough money
-Ignores players with memberships but still break rules so regular players are only given bans
-Report abuse feature probably is just a placebo effect (not kidding)
-No anti-cheat system, you can inject. Dll files with code to break rules, no detection whatsoever, they have started breaking the cheats (finally) by updating but they never ban cheaters so there is no point
-Terrible filter that filters out words that aren't even swear words, seriously you can bypass it really easily and the filter is very annoying when you are trying to communicate to someone
-Too many clickbait games (in roblox slang they are called Bait and Switch games and have existed since the beginning of roblox)
-Game is DEFINITELY NOT child friendly, that is a complete lie at the moment.
-Micro-transactions/price-floors are WAY TOO HIGH.
-Forums are usually cancerous and have a lot of trash-posts

Pros:
-Game is really fun with friends
-Some of the games on the front page are FANTASTIC (except those stupid high school roleplaying and hairstylist games)
-Making friends is easy, I have hit the 200 max friends limit and I am a veteran player from august 2012
-Some of the items on the catalog are really cool!
-If you know LUA (programming language), you can put that to use! Roblox is based off of LUA so you can use it to develop games!

Overall, the game needs a lot of reworking to do; it's really bad.

I played Roblox for quite a while now, and I am not very happy about the game. Let's see what categories I criticize:

1. Money for Robux
2. Support
3. Community
4. Games in Roblox
5. Chat filter

1. Costs for Robux
I think many people will agree with me, when I say, that 4.99 Euro for 400 Robux is just too much. Just check the website for things you can buy with that amount. You can probably just buy (very) small game passes and Avatar stuff for your character. 4.99 Euro is really too much for this. And if we consider, that Roblox is mostly played by little kids (more in Community) who ask their parents for this expensive stuff, then I think they price is nearly a scam.

2. Support
Everybody who contacted the Roblox support for 1 time in his life will know, that the Roblox support is one of the worst supports available. It just feels like you write with bots, not humans. They always give the same copy and paste answer that doesn't help you at all. It does not matter with how much detail you write your ticket, after 7 days of waiting you just get a crappy copy and paste answer that a bot could write faster than Roblox moderators.

3. Community
If you played Roblox, you will probably know, that Roblox is mostly played by 8-year-old kids on their smartphone. You just occasionally find somebody older than 15 in Roblox. If you do not want to play with 8-year-old kids who spent $200+ with their parent's credit card, then better do not play this game.

4. Games on Roblox
The front page of Roblox is complete trash most of the time. Just weird Anime games and other 8-year-old kid stuff. It's hard to find a game that is made for people over 10 years. "Adopt me" is a perfect example of a game made for 8-year-old girls whose parents pay for everything.

5. Chat filter
Like many other things on Roblox, also the chat filter is complete trash. It blocks nearly every message that you write. It also blocks completely random. Example: Sometimes if you write a number everything works fine, but other times the number will get blocked from the filter. Roblox does really everything that the parents of the 8-year-old kids think that the kid is "safe".

Final words:
Roblox is a money making machine that just wants to have the last bit of cash in your pocket. Roblox can be sometimes fun, but I would not recommend to start playing the game (just if you want to play crappy games with 8-year-old kids and spend $200 on crappy things). If you pay money for Robux you will regret it very soon.

Pros: Roblox can show your child how to code/script games, build them and earn money on there well detailed made game! Roblox is VERY MUCH trying to keep it safe. By, making a uptade that really took down scam bots, (bots that try to steal your account) so they're not that much common anymore. If you made your account underaged (13-/13>) Then in the game page they sort the non-voilet games too. But that can mess up the popular, section for the underage accounts. Roblox is stil fixing they're moderation, since they're always checking up on games, and there platform, and using some bots that check the stuff you upload, it can be broken sometimes. But they always try fixing it and advancing it. Online dating games (OD) aren't again that much common too. Since, Simulators become a trend for developers and others.

Cons: Some of the games, can be a bit violent too. They're is still a little online dating, (tbh now the online daters for years were kids, trying to have a family, and be weird not trying to be mean, but back then they were some little pedophiles in it. But Roblox tries to make it a safe game too.) Some games aren't original, they use alot of simulators. And copy some simulators too.

The cons are really not that much tho.

Okay so on youtube a girl got banned because SHE was being harrassed and how she was she was being called the b word and the n word and she got banned! The person that called her those words and said that to her they did not get banned another reason why she got banned is because she had blcak lives matter group and merch and one of her shirts got deleted plus she is banned for seven days. On the page that said she was banned she had to press "I agree" so she could get her account back but she wasn't doing that because YOU GUYS want her to basically say her life doesn't matter or any brown or black person life doesn't matter! And if roblox is going to do this then it just makes me not want to play anymore it's so much toxic people on roblox but this is just really toxic of you! And you guys cant add deleting clothes on mobile when someone is playing roblox but you can deled a persons clothes off their account for nothing when they basically didn't do anything but got harrassed their self! Also Ive bet every black or brown person that plays ROBLOX won't probably even like it anymore if they heard about this! And fyi it's more innapropiet things on roblox then this! And if you want me to nAME them I can! You guys ban chrildren for stupuid things like this. So how about you send her a email and tell her you are unbanned and look into the other person account that was being racist. SIDE BAR stop treating mobile players like trash! ITS NOT FAIR!
