I hesitated to purchase from here due to the many bad reviews, but I didn't need anything significant, so I pulled the trigger. The prices were too good to pass on. Glad to report I got exactly what I ordered and promptly. I placed my order Monday morning, and the site said it would be here Wednesday (two days later), which worked for me as I was out of town. To my surprise, it was delivered the very next morning. I just got home, and everything ordered was well packaged and correct. I just put the parts in my car, and everything fits as described. My first Rock Auto purchase was a success, so I will be getting my parts from here in the foreseeable future. If you're considering RA but are thrown off by the bad reviews, I suggest experiencing it yourself and forming your own opinion. I did, and I'm glad I did. I no longer have to overpay for car parts.
Imagine waiting 2 weeks for your part to arrive just for it to start leaking and leaving you stranded on the highway with $400 worth of tow fees to get back to the shop to replace the part you just replaced. So 3 weeks and $1100 later for something that should have been done in a day, and for $300. Thanks RockAuto! Terrible Chinese Products. Avoid as all costs and buy OEM. RockAuto products have ZERO quality control and will ship you broken parts.
It's hard for me to convey how much in this moment I deplore this company. Along with their convoluted return policy, having to print out a return label in today's day and age where a lot of people don't have printers and the fact that they don't have any phone number to call means I never ever ever going to order from this horrible company again. It's disgusting how they separate themselves and leave the customer to fend for themselves after the purchase. You don't want to hire any customer service reps because you don't want to spend the money on it. From now on I go elsewhere and I'll keep this stupid package that I don't need.

My advice to people is just to not use them. With return policies like Amazon has or a local brick and mortar why would you ever use this Antiquated company which makes you print out labels and you have to go through a rigmarole online and they have no phone number or customer service support that you can speak to? It's just not worth it I'm going to keep the damn item and I will never use them again. I advise you not to.
Canadian Customers Be aware!
If you choose an item,buy it and within 2-3 min decide to cancel the purchase, it says item is already shipped and you'll receive it! So you won't be able to cancel the transaction even if you chose the wrong part by mistake which not fair.
Also within the past year they have a few shipping costs which varies depending on the purchased item. I tried different options and even if you buy 3 items the website will charge you with 2 different shipping fees to gain more benefit from customer. Considering the shipping cost most of the time If you buy the same item from Canada it will cost you less!
I ordered an axle, when I reciever and attempted to install I found the part was out of tolerance and would not fit. The manufacturer had somehow messed up the part and used the wrong end piece on it. I started the return and was denied because it was dirty. This is a very crooked company. Please do not use. You get the same quality on Amazon and easier returns there.
The part was not packaged well and UPS reported the package for hazardous materials irregularities. I cannot get any support from RockAuto to resolve this issue. They may have great prices but absolutely suck with customer service!

I ordered some parts last Friday and I paid for expedited shipping to receive all by Wednesday. The parts came from different places and shipping companies and as now Thursday 1:33 pm I am still waiting for some parts. They should refund at least a percent of the shipping as wasn't arrived on time like they said in the payment process and I lost my appointment that was for today at 9am. They have no customer service and when you select the parts to let them know that arrived late, they have an automatic response to keep the parts for later no other option to ask for customer service representative or get a partial refund. 4/5 stars.

On or about November 13,2023, I ordered a cabin air filter and and an air filter online from RockAuto. Both parts arrived without issue but the air filter did not fit and was damaged green coloring scattered on it. Despite communications with RockAuto to ship me a new part, they could not guarantee I would receive the proper part if they sent it to me again, nor could they guarantee that I would not occur some sort of charge to return the part and be sent a new one. After several back and forths, they told me the 30 day window for refunds had expired. This window was never mentioned in any of the email correspondence nor on the product or delivery receipts. On Jan 2, I asked to be refunded for the $29.66 USD for the part and estimated shipping costs. RockAuto refused.
Ordered a radiator for my truck with two year warranty. Had it four months it started leaking at the seams. Which is no fault of my own. But they want me to pay for shipping to get a new one on a part that was defective by none of my doing. Bad return policy. Don't think I will be ordering anything else here.
I just finished reinstalling my old fuel pump because the new fuel pump I got from Rock Auto was defective. Had to have a tow back after the truck wouldn't stay lit. Result? Truck runs fine now, only reason I replaced the fuel pump was because I had the tank out due to tweakers stealing my fuel. Figured "I'll replace the pump while I'm at it." Why am I so angry? This is the SECOND time I've had to have a tow to have a part replaced new from Rock Auto. The first was a ignition coil. Figured I'd replace it after tweakers stole the truck and I was repairing/freshening it up. Of course I could return it for warranty and because Rock Auto values its customers they would split the shipping and send me a replacement. But why would I pay to do that again? The bright side: I've a nice access hatch in the bed of my rig now directly to the fuel bits and pieces. Unbelievable. I won't be using RA in the future. Let this be a warning to you, they've changed.

Im a custumer since 2022 since then i buy my business trucks parts in Rockauto im in a construction bussines and i have to be able to fix my trucks fast, I paid extra for the part to be delivered in 3 days with DHL, is been 5 days and i havent received it,! Done! Not buying from rockauto any more!
I ordered a front end kit to include upper control arm, both tie rod ends, sway bar links, and lower ball joint. After taking everything off and finding the inner tie rod end is the wrong size I had to go locally for new ones. So now there is no way to just return them. I have to return it all. I also have to pay for any return and it's their screw up. No way to contact them so looks like I will have to just loose $120 for the other inners.Never again.
They won't give me the other part of my refund when I email them about the tracking number they won't tell me what it is. The package was sent to the wrong warehouse but the address was the same on both packages so I didn't know it was to be sent to another warehouse. They are saying they will charge me cause it was sent to the wrong warehouse and the address it was sent to they will get somebody to ship it back to the correct address. This was two weeks ago and haven't heard anything since. I would never order from Rockauto again please look at all the negative reviews first it can't be a coincidence. Please go somewhere else!
I've ordered from Rockauto for years. Delivery is quick. Pay attention to where the parts ship from, it's not uncommon for parts to ship from different warehouse and you pay two or more shipping charges. Of late, their packaging is shoddy. Get wiper blades shipped in boxes too short. I ordered a new part in January, received it in a timely manner, but didn't install it because of the weather. Just opened the box, the manufacturers box, and the part is broken. My fault for not checking as soon as I received it. But the part wasn't wrapped in anything from the manufacturer and it broke when it rattled around in the box. Just shoddy, Same order, ordered oil filters and they arrived not even in boxes, just shrink wrapped.
They've gone downhill.

Received unusable parts because of Inaccurate item descriptions. Costing us extra time and shipping cost. Support person "Ronald" unwilling to verify inaccuracies and find what parts actually do fit.
We can't trust future orders because of the possible hassle involved. They tout "in order to keep costs low" as a reason for limited support. Even so, they need to learn there is a minimum level of support required for customers. A level they haven't achieved. Any customer's savings is sometimes lost, with their lack of support.
Ordered rotors from here and they were cut wrong. Of course they don't help. They want you to send back the purchase, which I was willing to do after I got new ones because how tf am I supposed to drive with no rotors? My car is my work! Horrible way to deal with customers

First time and last time dealing with RockAuto parts. I had a day or two of flexibility for delivery but never received it till the next week. When setting up a return I had to send each part back to separate warehouses which was going to cost 50% of what I paid for the parts initially. It wasn't my problem came a week late now I have to eat it. You can be sure that everyone I know will be deterred from using RockAuto!
First i made order march 13,2024 paid additional 49.99 for the sole reason of needing the parts today, still has not shipped, contacted customer service, via email no phone calls, they continued to refer to the 3rd order i made on march 14th, ground when i continue to question them about the order number that they was not looking at got ticket closed, regret ordering the 600 bucs in parts from them. Questioning if i will ever get them, all 3 charges for all 3 orders have already been removed from my bank account.

Bought parts ball joints, and tie rods for three of my vehicles. Two of the vehicles we did over Christmas parts were correct everything went great. The third vehicle parts was for my summer vehicle so we did not work on this vehicle till the following month part numbers on the boxes were all correct But they had the wrong parts in four of the boxes. The 2 upper ball joints and 2 inner tie rods were not greaseable And one of the Tie rod end adjusting sleeves were not threaded
Because it was past the 30 day mark, they refuse to exchange my parts for the correct ones
Because of their decision, they just lost me as a customer personally plus they will not be a vendor of my repair business
I ordered a pair of front calipers. One was good, but the other leaked. The second one they sent me had no threading for the bracket mounting bolt. They told me I was out of luck for both calipers because I didn't get them installed within 30 days. My mistake for taking too long, but I think 30 days is way too short of a return window.

So back in September I ordered struts for my Jeep needed a left and a right. So I ordered them from rock I ended up needing an engine for other reasons so those parts sat at the shop until I could get the other repairs done. Well guess I was sent two right side parts. So now I need to purchase a left (not through them) because I'm over 30 days. Part still in the box but it don't matter that my invoice says a left and right was purchased. I should have known. Not very fair for someone who knows nothing about parts but was trying to save some money wherever they could with the repair. Won't purchase again from here. No customer service representative to talk to just an email saying I had enough time to look. I get it but still it was the wrong part sent.

There is no customer service if there is a problem. Charging the customer shipping fees and core charge fees. I recently bought a part it was the wrong part arranged the return and they sent me the exact same part even when I told them it was the wrong part.
I was a long time customer but that ended today. You pick your delivery method and then no tracking information for a week. Took a week longer then the already one week shipping time. That extremely poor customer service especially when you can buy from Amazon and Ebay with free shipping in most cases. They act like they don't care. My money will be spent elsewhere.

After placing about a dozen orders from Rockauto.com over a 4 year period without an issue, one came up. I ordered brake pads for my Honda Accord and the clips didn't fit; they were completely different than the original ones. I then discovered that there was no phone number or email address. There is a method for replacement for the same item, but that wasn't a viable solution. Their description of the parts was correct but their supplier didn't provide the proper parts in the box. I shipped the order back with a detailed note inside the box asking for help and never received a response. I will never order from them again.

Never ever again. Rock auto suck... I bought the rotor and brake pads they were wrong. So I had to send them back. There was nothing wrong with them and said they were damaged...noo they were not...they kept them and would not refund my money.$ 165.00...take my advice do not use then

Purchased Hella Cleantech wiper blades that were listed for my vehicle in the Rock Auto Catalog. They absolutely do not fit my car. Impossible to call so I went through the return process and when I was done Rockauto said this was the manufactures listing and it doesn't fit it wasn't their fault. They would split the shipping with me on one blade and if I wanted to return the second blade I would have to pay for shipping.These were not expensive blades and shippng would probably cost more than the blade. Since Rockauto is selling the part, they should be responsible. What a cop out on their part. Finally went to Walmart, bought blades that they said would fit. It took 2 minutes to assemble to car.
