I hesitated to purchase from here due to the many bad reviews, but I didn't need anything significant, so I pulled the trigger. The prices were too good to pass on. Glad to report I got exactly what I ordered and promptly. I placed my order Monday morning, and the site said it would be here Wednesday (two days later), which worked for me as I was out of town. To my surprise, it was delivered the very next morning. I just got home, and everything ordered was well packaged and correct. I just put the parts in my car, and everything fits as described. My first Rock Auto purchase was a success, so I will be getting my parts from here in the foreseeable future. If you're considering RA but are thrown off by the bad reviews, I suggest experiencing it yourself and forming your own opinion. I did, and I'm glad I did. I no longer have to overpay for car parts.
Imagine waiting 2 weeks for your part to arrive just for it to start leaking and leaving you stranded on the highway with $400 worth of tow fees to get back to the shop to replace the part you just replaced. So 3 weeks and $1100 later for something that should have been done in a day, and for $300. Thanks RockAuto! Terrible Chinese Products. Avoid as all costs and buy OEM. RockAuto products have ZERO quality control and will ship you broken parts.
Rock Auto sent incorrect parts, blamed their supplier and charged us $22,54 to return the parts and get a refund.

I ordered some wiper blades for my Spintervan after hearing an ad on the Ben Shapiro show. Ordering seemed easy enough. When the parts arrived I noticed they would not fit on my van so I went to return the order. The return section was difficult to navigate, and I filled out the forms online. They indicated I could pay to ship the products back at my expense or pay them to provide a shipping label. I sent the package at my own expense, and received an email from rock auto stating I had mailed the parts to the wrong location, and the cost of shipping the items back was more than the products were worth. They said they would discard the parts and thanked me for my purchase. Their website does not offer a customer service line to speak to a representative. Very disappointed.

Purchased a part told it would arrive a certain date. It didn't come and cost me money. I thought this was a reliable vendor.
They are my go to for parts every time, I have used the 6 times fast accurate every time. Even the smallest dash knob.
I ordered a switch from BRAND-X auto parts and it wasn't even close to working (see photo of pins missing). ROCKAUTO switch was a 30 sec PLUG AND PLAY! Thanks ROCKAUTO!

I have bought a lot of parts from rockauto for a 99 ford ranger and every part I buy motorcraft brand breaks within 2 years or already broke STAY AWAY from rockauto
I Just recently moved from UK to USA, so had no idea where to get a part from, like many others checked and RockAuto seemed to have best price, alsoread on reddit before ordering parts from RockAuto. Oh man Fool me.
I ordered on 4th to receive parts on 8th and 10th, now I have received only half of order one which is the strut and other one didn't come. Obviously you would not be able to do anything with one strut.
11 days later and I am still waiting for the 2nd half,,,,, no call,,, automated response to my email,,,, tracking one day shows delivery on 12th,, then changed to 17th, on 18th shows part is in a Warehouse C!
I tried to send back everything and buy all a little more expensive (assembly as a kit), but now they want to charge me for return around $25 even thought it is their fault!
I already paid $25 for the delivery of the items I never received in full and now they want to charge for return!
Do Not Be a Fool and think you buy it "Lot" cheaper from them because actually you are not, when you go to place order, let's say you think you save like $50, they will charge a hefty delivery price which leaves you with a little to no saving comparing to other companies and for that 20 bucks you have to lose your mind, your time and You get absolutely no way to contacting them.
They made it this way, so people would not be able to complain and they claim they don't have agents or customer support to same money and be able to offer better price, what a BS!

Very poor products sold by RockAuto. The charge you return shipping when they send you the wrong parts, that happens all the time
This company will try to f you out of as much as they can. If you order a kit, expect to not get the parts advertised in the kit.

There is ZERO customer service and the shipping cost is insane. I will use local providers as the savings cost you more than the local parts shops.

New fuel pump failed within a month for custom installation. Rockauto say not waranteed for custom installation. Part was clearly defective.
In the past 3 packages we have not received a magnet. We have a magnet collection that is put on hold because of this.

I have made several purchases from rock auto over the course of 3 years and naturally no one is perfect and we expect things to go wrong from time to time. However when things do come up we expect decent & thorough business practices from anyone we trust enough to shop with and spend our hard earned money with. Having said that I am leaving this review for rock auto. I shipped from them for years thinking everything was just fine, even liked the little magnetic car collection they would send each time I placed an order. That is until the very first time I had a problem with my order, and finding out the cold hard truth that rock auto would not be anywhere around for me to help me with my return. When I say this I mean I paid almost $40 for next day shipping. Due to the holidays it ended up being longer than next day so my vehicle was broke down and I had to rent a car so I had no choice but to order the kart from another location. After waiting the amount of time I did I thought, that seems like a lot of money for next day shipping considering it was Not the next day my order was delivered and being a seller on eBay and very familiar with shipping procedures I performed a little test. I went back to rock auto.com and decided to choose the same 2 items from the aforementioned order and placed in my shopping cart and chose the available shipping option like the one I had chose for the previous order, and to my surprise the price was a shipping $10 less than what I was charged for my order! Wow! So I waited until the next day and I performed the same test again. Was the shipping fee the same this time? Nope! It was different then the previous time I tried by almost $3, and different from the price I was charged with my original order! So 3 times and 3 different shipping fees, choosing the same shipping options available. What would rock auto have to say about this would they help me here? Nope! Their reply was it was the shipping option available at that time based on the holiday but as I stated this text was performed on 3 different occasions. Conclusion: rock auto charged what they want to charge. PERIOD! Would rock auto work with me with returning some of the shipping fee,? Absolutely not. In fact they would not do anything to help me and I learned a lesson that day, rock auto cares about 1 thing. I will give you a hint, it isn't their customers! Or at the very least it isn't me they see about anyway. If you want to order from rock auto do so at your own risk because eventually like anywhere things will go wrong and when they do don't expect any help from them else you will be upset when they don't even act like they care!
