I hesitated to purchase from here due to the many bad reviews, but I didn't need anything significant, so I pulled the trigger. The prices were too good to pass on. Glad to report I got exactly what I ordered and promptly. I placed my order Monday morning, and the site said it would be here Wednesday (two days later), which worked for me as I was out of town. To my surprise, it was delivered the very next morning. I just got home, and everything ordered was well packaged and correct. I just put the parts in my car, and everything fits as described. My first Rock Auto purchase was a success, so I will be getting my parts from here in the foreseeable future. If you're considering RA but are thrown off by the bad reviews, I suggest experiencing it yourself and forming your own opinion. I did, and I'm glad I did. I no longer have to overpay for car parts.

Only place I know that charges you shipping to return caliper cores and does nothing for you when you pay on their own site for overnight shipping of $121 and some of the parts don't show up for a few days. No telephone or chat for support, only email and they say nothing to do with shipping is their fault. Amazon is better or your local auto parts store, than rock auto. Don't use them!

They also charged me the 6.99$ standard shipping.amd when a person trys to explain the problem. This company/website runs in circles. I wish I could tell you ZERO stars. They have my part to at has been returned that came in a brown box. Since the brown box was damaged during shipping they did not provide a refund. The part is 100% intact and has zero damage and never used. They are a company geared to steal and cheat the customer. The part was marked as one color but came to me in a standard black. Now they are refusing to refund the price paid due to the box having some damage. They will cheat you versus provide standard customer service. AVOID Them! There are better options. Look at the reviews. I have ish I did and I would have never done business with them.SAVE YOURSELF! AVOID THEM!

All but the rotors they sent me rear rotors for my truck and if they had any clue what they were doing they would of seen from the year make and model of my truck that it does not have rear rotors it has drums on it you even put in the year and make and model of your vehicle so idk how they can send the wrong parts. Not to mention you pay $75 for expedited shipping and they give you a guaranteed delivery date which is a total lie I ordered on a Friday afternoon and they said guaranteed by Tuesday well here we are Thursday afternoon and still no parts. If you want the $#*!s put to you go to rock auto they will $#*! you good without the lube.
I ordered a set of brake pads and rotors. This happened and I never opened the box until today. There were 2 rotors and a box for the brake pads but the box was empty. Tried to reach out to RockAuto but their message it I'm too late the 30 day window to complain is closed. Bad on me for now opening the package for a few weeks. I was past the 30 day mark so they get away with ripping me off. Whoever packed the shipment is not too bright as box of brake pads should weigh a few pounds. Maybe they took the pads for themselves? $58.80 worth of pads.

I use to buy from them in a past. It was ok. But now they converted to coming criminals. They send wrong part and after i shipped back in original package, using original packaging materials in about week after receiving returned part thy denied refund claiming shipping damage. Pictures they send me show no damage, but connector which was wrong and was reason for return is broken. It appears that their "inspection" process include a deliberately braking part and accuse customer so they will not issue refund. They are not responsible for shipping wrong part or shipping damage of returned part. They are responsible for lying, cheating and scamming customers. No customer service to speak about. BBB rating is a proof. I do regret to trust company with i used to shop with in a past. Unfortunately this company is disgrace.

Bought a radiator from RA, delivered by FedEx with one end of the box ripped open with parts missing. Driver dropped it off in front of our garage, instead of our covered front porch for every thief to see and ran like a scared rabbit. NO KNOCK as he knew we would refuse the box. Contacted Rock Auto online within 10 minutes. THEY DO NOT TAKE CUSTOMER SERVICE CALLS OVER THE PHONE ACORDING TO THEIR ANSWERING SYSTEM. Waited three days for and answer and never received one. Found out they want you to pay again for a return label after already paying for a damaged delivery. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM ROCK AUTO AGAIN. NAPA treats their customers well like most companies do.

Need a part overnight and select the $21.99 for my A/C part to be delivered on Fri Oct 25th. My other option was wait until Mon Oct 28th for $10.99. Since I have Saturday's off and it is still 90 degrees in Texas I opted to pony up for the overnight shipping. I get the update from Rock Auto stating my part will arrive on Mon the 28th. Emailed customer service 2 times before I got a response asking them only for a partial refund of shipping of $11. They sad I will not get the refund as it is arriving in the appropriate time and I should look more carefully at the delivery options before purchasing. I responded that I did look at the option and based on what I previously stated above I did not receive my part as stated and paid for. Only asking for an $11 credit for shipping. Their response was that Rock Auto is not responsible for Fed-ex delivery delays. I stated there was not delay by Fed-ex rather Rock Auto's failure to ship my part on time based on their website. Asked a 3rd time for the partial refund of $11 shipping. Then no further communication from Rock Auto. Now my thought is that they went through a lot of trouble to lose a customer over $11. People that read this will understand that this most likely costs them more than $11 long-term.

Their ordering system is ridiculous. I ordered three parts and needed them fast. When you go to checkout, you select shipping by date only. So I selected next day business shipping. When I saw only half my items were coming next day, I emailed to ask what is going on. They said that shipping is actually by part and I only selected express for the half of my parts. However, this is completely misleading because there is no way to select shipping for each part, only by date. Why would I think I selected express shipping for only one part when there is only one option for all three parts in the first place? I continued to press on in my email thread and they just closed the ticket without saying anything. Terrible company!
Returned parts to them and have been two months trying to get my refund now they refunded only 241.97 of the 400.15 I paid for my order. Because I wouldn't drop trying to get the rest of my money refunded they are now saying all the parts weren't Returned, was also charged for shipping twice. This company seems to be nothing more than a bunch of crooks ripping off people. My first and last time dealing with this trash company

What good is a good price and good service if your product does not arrive when promised. And then in the end is that really good service? As I appreciate it is not Rock Auto's fault because they use a third-party for shipping, it surely should not be my fault, but has become my problem. I paid for expedited shipping so I could have the parts when I need them, and watching my parts travel around the world brings me absolutely no satisfaction. In the end, it cost me more time and money because I can't drive around with bad brakes, and because of incompetent delivery services and I am forced to pay a premium price for the products at a local Parts Store. So in the end, I am paying more than if I would have, if I had not tried to save a little money with Rock Auto, because I have paid the premium price at the local automotive parts store and still do not have my order. So, I am either stuck with an extra set of brakes, which I don't need, or, because Rock Auto does not guarantee delivery, I can mark that I "do not want them" and pay return freight on top of the expedited freight and then the discounted parts will have cost me three times their value, and one and a half times the price that I got payed at the local Auto Parts Store. So in the end, the parts for my brake job cost me twice as much as they should have, if I had only just gone to the local parts store and called it a day. Pretty much not worth the trouble trying to save money with RockAuto. And if you want to add on top of that, Rock Auto does not guarantee their parts, well, you could be on another no return ride. Very disappointing.

First bad experience I waited 6 weeks, never got the parts and had to cancel the order. Waited 4 weeks for the refund. Thought I'd give them a second chance and it's now been 3 weeks. Why won't they just ship the order?
NEVER again. Completely void of customer service and proven lousy junk parts. Steer completely clear of these thieves. If you want an example I got one. My vehicle needed a front propeller shaft. I replaced these a few times in my Jeeps because the $#*! parts you get from China and the same parts greedy rockAuto sells you. I splurged on this shaft and bought a brand name which cost about 60% more and also has lifetime warranty. When this part arrived ("brand name") I obviously checked it out and there was not a lick of grease on the inner shaft, and just a blob on the CV joints. They have no telephone number and no customer service so I tried to send an email questioning the amount of grease, and the grinding of both CV joints. I got no response. I had to install it anyway because it was all I had. I sent an email again, when the part failed after 8 months of grinding and whiriing, and of course I get a response that said I needed to contact them 30 days after my purchase? FO They basically stole $400 from me. I feel it's everyone's civic duty to warn people of snake oil salesmen.

Purchased front breaks for my civic. They sent the right model number but wrong part was in the box. Tried to contact rock auto there customer support is a nightmare/non-existent.
Ordered break pads and routers. When they arrived it only had one router... That was my fault I guess. So I needed to purchase another one. Which I did before starting the job on my car... Started the job and they. Don't fit... Partly my fault for not confirming the right parts were in the right box... but man I'm not impressed. Will be buying local from now on...
