I have been wanting these 1 ctw natural diamond earrings for a long time to go with the matching diamond station necklace I bought from Ross Simon years ago. They came on sale and I snatched them up. I wish I could add photos of the earrings I received. While the advertised item clearly shows a red bird, the earrings I received are black. I contacted customer service and they replaced the earrings but the second pair are also black.

The sand dollar is very nice. The chain sent for it is terrible. The clasp is very small and extremely difficult to manage. It cannot be opened and closed.

These earrings are well made, however the post length MAY BE TOO LONG depending on which part of the ear you're wearing them, causing the lightening bolt to hang at an odd angle.
IT WOULD BE GREAT TO OFFER THESE WITH DIFFERENT POST LENGTHS.
The flat back fitting is perfectly snug to the post and has stayed in place during sleep, exercise, and showering.

Do not select items yourself and do not ask for options. Let her pick. If she offers choices, ask for her favorite. If she won't, get the first thing she showed you. Your choosing can help you both believe that you did something more than just ordering.
Make sure you have all the details the first time. Lots, maybe most, jewelry comes in sizes. I did not know that. Don't get stuck having to back and ask for deets. It ruins the "surprise".
