I ordered a necklace and a bracelet. The pearl bracelet was lovely and i will be keeping it. The chain on the 14k gold necklace was so flimsy and fragile, that it knotted up after I tried on the necklace and put it back in the plastic bag it came in. Perhaps it needs to be shipped in a box with an insert that helps prevent tangles. I emailed customer service and arranged for a return, which was handled quickly.

The email gave me directions about how to go about making a return of the tangled necklace.

I ordered a paper clip bracelet for my granddaughter's birthday. I paid over $20 for fast shipping. Item came by UPS. The bracelet was in a padded box - there was an empty plastic bag with a label also in the padded box and the bracelet was in a heap in the corner. I did not check it (my fault). My granddaughter cried when she opened the gift. The bracelet was broken! I had paid for fast shipping for an item that had been returned and someone at the company placed it back in stock. I called Ross-Simons the next day and was told I had to have USPS investigate! USPS was never involved! Finally returned and I am waiting for a satisfactory conclusion.

Absolutely poor - I would give 0 stars if allowed!

UPDATE: I was contacted by customer service and offered a partial credit back for the earrings. I was able to get them fixed and will have them for the wedding. I appreciate the extra attention and the professional handling of this issue. The outcome is positive.

I ordered garnet and pearl earrings to wear for my wedding. I was excited to find them, as I had not seen them anywhere else. But the quality was much less than expected. The first time I tried them on, one of the earring posts snapped off, making them unwearable. I immediately called Ross-Simons and was told these earrings were sold out and could not be replaced. They offered to repair them but it would take 6 weeks! With my wedding less than a month away, this was not an option. So I will be paying a local jeweler $65 to repair them and can only hope they hold up.
Sadly Ross-Simons did not offer me anything for my disappointment, inconvenience or additional expense. I won't be shopping here again.

Friendly but no effort to find a solution beyond the basic options.

I purchased a 14k white gold diamond band and the diamond quality was inconsistent. Although I knew when I purchased the ring, the diamonds were no at the top of the range in quality; however, there were three diamonds in particular that were actually a cloudy white. I was actually shocked that a ring of that quality would be delivered to a customer. Needless to say, I was disappointed and returned the ring.

Very well done perfectly set jewels and finishing on items. I would say 1 thing. Be careful on weight and size as some appear larger on model or pictures. All measurements are listed just sometimes feel lighter weight than you would think. Overall very happy each piece looks real and expensive. Live the variety!

I've been purchasing jewelry from Ross-Simon for YEARS. The items are unique and are received promptly - no waiting months and months for them to arrive! Customer service is amazing - you deal with PEOPLE, not a machine and not a call center. I've never been disappointed.

I have received my order. The pieces are beautiful. I'm happy to purchase items for my collection that I have waited to make happen for quite awhile.

I needed to return an item. I was required to call customer service for a reference number and they do NOT provide you with a mailing label. You have to pay for the return postage. They give you a tiny little label to fill out and it is so confusing that the USPS sent the return BACK to me rather than to Ross Simmons.

I bought 2 rings knowing I'd keep only one. I ordered and kept the Gabriel Designs 14kt Yellow Gold Beaded Ring. I love the style of the graduated beads! It's on the dainty side, perfect for everyday wear, which was my intension. It's beautiful on its own or stacked. I returned the 14kt Yellow Gold Beaded Ring with Ball. It's very dainty and pretty. I returned it because I preferred the other one.

I was a little concerned about purchasing jewelry from a website I was not familiar with and a gold locket that was only $100. But I was pleasantly surprised that the piece is fabulous and will make an excellent gift. Thank you.

I ordered the freshwater pearl earrings expecting them to be of equivalent size and one looked smaller than the other. In your ad photo they are similar in size. I have returned them and asked for another pair to be sent to me. I hope they look compatable.Quick and easy

I had been eyeing this ring for a couple of years and jumped at the chance to order it when the price was drastically reduced. What a steal! It's simply beautiful and I love that the setting is two tone. Order it; you won't be disappointed.

Almost overwhelmed with the options. The necklace I bought as a gift for my daughter is beautiful.
The box had an imprint from some kind of grabber/picking tool. And it had been somewhat crushed.

The two rings I ordered were beautiful pieces and seem to be of good quality. I had thought the bands would be a tad wider but it's my own fault for not reading the measurements more closely.

I'm not sure if I missed the fine print on the website, but the Two-Day Air shipping I paid for was not two-day shipping. The gift I bought for a good friend's 50th birthday arrived seven days after my order - not two - so I was unable to give the gift to my friend for her birthday. Fortunately Ross-Simons refunded the shipping fee.

Customer service responded quickly to and met my request, though the late shipping could not be undone.

Did not see the gold plated over silver here originally, saw it only on Amazon. Since these are for young guard children that is ideal. Came back here and found them. Initially only saw silver or 14k gold. The pictures are way blown up. The actual charm is teeny, but pretty. The chain is far thinner than it looked in the picture, and I am afraid that my grand daughters (ages 8 and 10) will tear the chains quickly.
