Ordering was easy but I was disappointed with the necklace. It turned out to be 1/5 the size as shown in the photo. In the photo the colored crystals were large and bright. In actuality, you could hardly see them at all. For $80 it was a piece of junk. I found out all I need to know about Ross-Simons!
Unfortunately, I needed it for a special occasion and didn't have time to return it.

I had to make a return of an expensive item that i had purchased as a gift for my wife several months prior to giving.

I had to call customer service and I'm very happy with the results of that phone call. In this day and age when customer service has fallen by the wayside with most businesses that is not the case with this company.
I had placed a previous order that I needed to cancel. That was cancelled by phone immediately but I never received confirmation. I then placed a second order and called with a question about shipping for this second item and to confirm that the first order had been canceled. I was assured that the first order was indeed cancelled and was told when the second would ship and approximately when I would receive it. The gentleman that I spoke with could not have been nicer and was very helpful.

So glad to be able to find an online jeweler that has pieces in 18kt gold. The snowflake studs I purchased are beautiful. It's great to be able to wear earrings without worrying about having an allergic reaction to the metal.

Although the earrings are very elegant, the packaging and presentation was pitiful. $800 pair of earrings and they come in two small ziplock bags inside a flimsy box. I'm not impressed.

I wanted earrings I could afford, and have the look of solid gold. Gold over silver fits this perfectly. The sets I bought over the years, still look new and are also durable. I can buy whimsical holiday earrings for every occasion and not break the bank. I also have a solid gold bracelet I bought years ago and I still wear it and receive many compliments, oh, and all are comfortable, which is important to me.?

My niece wanted these earrings. When I received them, I really had to think twice about giving them to her. They are SO small compared to the photos and I don't know if she realized that.

Ross-Simons has lots of stuff that looks tempting in the pictures but when you look at the item in pictures of models wearing them it is clear the items really are not suitable for a woman like my wife who is short and does not have a swan neck (as she terms it),
This gift is not a surprise where I can't reveal to my wife the item I want to buy. I showed it to her first and she announced that she would accept it if I purchased it.

Item was a gift from my employer for 50 years of service. In a 6 month time frame, the gold surface was marred with areas of copper. In returning the item, it was mentioned I might incur a $100 service fee for the "inspection". It took a high level representative to work with my husband to not only return the bracelet, but add funds to purchase a lovely 10K bracelet in its place. Why 3 star? Ross Simon sold a faulty item, then wants to possibly charge a fee to inspect what is obviously poor quality.
Saw no harm in ordering an item in 14K. I will not buy anything that is gold plated.
