I am always hesitant to order online from businesses I have never heard of before. I did a search and found they had the lowest price with free shipping for a large jug of 303 protectant. It arrived in two days by courier, and most importantly the jug was in a sealed plastic bag so if it leaked there would be no mess. I have purchased liquids from a large online retailer, and they leaked during shipping causing a mess inside the box and damaging other items inside. Very pleased with Royal Distributing online service, and would readily order from them again. I would not recommend Purolator Courier though because the box had a clear label "This Side Up" and they left it sitting on my porch the wrong way. Luckily the jug did not leak. My only complaint with Royal Distributing is that they do not provide a receipt with their HST number on it so that the HST paid can be claimed for a tax refund as I purchased this for business purposes.

Are returns for Royals mistake also at the cost of the buyer? They were in my case.

Can't order online, their online order site is crap, it keeps telling me my phone # is invalid, iv had this number for last 5 years, some computer nerd built in some glitch that doesn't like certain numbers, their screw up is some 1 else gain, I'll just order from another site
Absolutely no communication. They don't answer emails and they don't answer their phone. If shopping online, beware! Returns are almost impossible.
Shopped with them online twice. Same service both times. Horrible.

I was very happy with the web site, product selection and delivery, but very disapointed to hear that they do not pay for return postage. My gloves were very light and it still cot me almost $17.00 to ship them back.
Their website implies free shipping and returns over $39.00.

Web site is an absolute joke. It can't tell you what is in stock at the store level. And when you call to see if they have it, clear your afternoon, you can expect to be on hold forever.
As for the in store experience, don't count on any help from the staff. They don't acknowledge your presence and actively avoid you. Lastly, their parts counter staff wouldn't know a motorcycle from a horses $#*!. This company needs a MAJOR management restructure. They have no corporate philosophy that I can see. It's only a matter of time before they fold, as my experience is not singular.

I ordered a windshield for a ski doo I have a month ago. They took my payment and I still do not have the part. Emailed they're customer service who said they would look into it. Been a week still no word from royal distributors. Worst customer service ever. By the time I get my windshield winter will be over.
This is the reply i got from them after waiting 1 week for what should have been 3 days.

Stay away from them,
Royal Distributing is great for motorsports clothing, good for accessories, and OK for replacement parts. The prices are good or at least competitive. The "my garage" function and parts search are clunky - the site doesn't remember your vehicle at all unless you set up an account, and if you do that, it still doesn't always remember your choice as you search. All in all, the in store experience is better than the web site.

I ordered some parts and they were wrong so I called to make sure that this time id get the right ones and I was told to just order for 1 year older bcuz the site had a glitch and now I got the wrong parts again so I called and said what happened and he told me I was lying and trying to get free return shipping. Then He kept arguing that no one would have told me that. So I asked to speak to someone else and he hung up. I have ordered quite a few things off the site and this will probably have to be the last! I'll stick to the Local guy in town who gets things way faster and doesn't accuse me of lying.

I have a pair of FRX Fuel gloves that the stitching split on one glove at the base of my index finger after 3 rides. They have a 1 year warranty so I contacted Royal who wouldn't help me because of their 30 day return policy told me to contact FXR myself. I argued that I'm not returning them and want them replaced under warranty. The Royal operator actually said "What do you want me to do about it?" and "Your the one that bought them". The FXR rep told me the gloves have to be returned where they were purchased and Royal is supposed warranty them. I sent him my recite and picture of the glove he was going to contact Royal on my behalf. It's been 3 weeks and nothing I did a similar review on the Royal site last week and surprise they didn't post it.

30 days is all the warranty you get no matter how long they claim it is.

I walked in the other day to buy a helmut.The girl was busy but asked another salesperson to assist me.His name was Connor.Not only was he kowledgeable but very very helpful.He showed me all the different helmuts they had in the store including the clearance helmuts.He also showed me different colors of helmuts they could order for me online.He spent the time that a customer like myself who didnt know much about helmuts.I will be going back and I will be looking for Connor.I highly recommend going to Royal Distributing in Kanata.I love the helmut I chose! It was also 15% off that I was not aware of till I got into the store.Bonus!

Every time I deal with this company - EVERY TIME, I come away dissapointed and wondering why I even bother. I just ordered something and needed to get it shipped - 40 km, not across the country, just a 45 minute drive away. Shipping charges were $85 for a TShirt. I immediately get on the phone to try and cancel the order, Ive been on hold for an hour. After the first 45 minutes, I was hung up on. The store is such a disaster, I have no idea how they stay in business.
