I have shopped the Rue La La site occasionally over the last few years and have been satisfied with them. Recently, I purchased two shirts that were marked final sale. I had no problem with that as I knew the brand and my size. The shirts I received were different from the photos on the site as well as the description of the items. I contacted customer service and after investigating they said nothing could be done since the SKU's matched my order. That may be so, but neither the photos nor descriptions did! As with most of their items this "shop" is now closed so I have no way to go back to the original photos/descriptions. I am very careful when purchasing final sale items on line so it's doubtful I would have made a mistake on two items. Au revoir, Rue La La
Update: after the exchange of several strong emails, Rue la la agreed to let me return the items. Will be sending them back today. As for my future purchases, after I use up the credit, we shall see...
Tip for consumers:
If they have made an error, they will not make you "whole" again. Very disappointing after several years of being satisfied with their site.

I ordered a Christmas gift and it was sent part of the route via FedEx. I called FedEx to get an update and they said they passed it over to the next delivery company and don't have a status. My purchaser was suppose to be here a week ago. I called the Wednesday before thanksgiving and waited 30 minutes to speak with a rep and she wasn't helpful. Her advice was just to wait. It's the Saturday after Thanksgiving and I still haven't received my purchase. I called FedEx and they told me to call Rue LaLA. I've been on hold for 1 hour noe waiting to speak with rhe customer rep. This is BS. I will never use them again. Over an hour and I still haven't spoken with anyone.

As a very special treat to myself after selling a piece of property, I bought a very expensive pair of earrings-$1399- that were advertised as being 32 carats of opal and diamond. When they arrived, there was no packing slip and no certificate of authenticity. I called and asked them to provide some verification that these are actually the gemstones as advertised which they told me they cannot do. I brought them to a jeweler who said he thinks the diamonds (tiny, tiny) but does not think the 32 carat stones are opal. They were luminous in the photo online, but dull in reality. Do not buy from this company! I have unsubscribed and intend to follow up with the authorities.

UPDATE** Not long after I wrote this review I was contacted by one of the owners od Rulala who apologized for the bad customer service and provided for a full refund.
I'm placing a four out of five Overall Rating.
Let's call it a six out of ten.
Ultimately, the incident like so many should not have happened. But they did do the right thing... eventually.
It's a manufacturer defect, the bezel setting is perfect but the stone is gone.
The Real Problem is the Rue La La customer Service policy. The ring was like 80 bucks but that's not the point. The point is that the Rue La La solution of refunding 2o bucks to my credit card does not even come close to the cost of replacing stone and fixing the manufacturer defect.
It's little more than a bad business gesture.
If I could give this place less Than a 1... I would.
Just closed our account. We're done here.
Don't shop at Rue La La!

It takes months to get back refund for the unwanted goods. Description of goods is wrong. The items described as " final sale" is never accepted back by the company. Basically, the company uses this policy to get rid of outdated goods, that no one wants to buy and damps the price.

Order was canceled with no notification to me. Claims shipping and billing didn't match. This was suppose to be a Christmas gift to my son and arrive on the 18th of Dec. My credit card was used with my billing address but gave the shipping address where to be sent. This was verified by a girl and was repeated and told all was good. Now my son will not get a gift and talked to supervisor who had no knowledge of how to place an order correctly. Needless to say check out before you order and pay because your order will never be completed and they will cancel it without notification. Poor service poor customer service.

Last sunday evening, a little after 9 I made an error and clicked on order button instead of the edit button as intended. The edit button, just above the place the order button is so tiny and in gray whereas the place the order button is 200 times the size in Red. I called immediately but they had closed. I next sent them a message telling them I made an error and passed the incorrect button, thinking they would see it as soon as they opened. I called at 9 A. M to confirm and was told the shipment was already in progress and could not be cancelled. Do they have elves working at night? When I think of it, I have had problems with at least 1/2 of the orders placed. It is a great wasteof my time and I now see that others have had the same problems. Enlightening.

I am done with Rue La La. I ordered a pair of King size sheets from Cuddledown for a Christmas present. They shipped sheets that were a Full size which wasn't discovered until after they were given at Christmas. Rue La La will not contact Cuddledown to replace the sheets. There are too many other flash sale sites to be bothered with their nonsense.

Purchased a Predire Paris kit that supposedly retails for $3,950. Based on the quality of the packaging, there's no way. Also, I'm not certain if the products are actually authentic, as a matter of fact, it looks like the packaging was opened and the box was shipped from "Returns". No bottles were sealed and caps were opened in the box.

This site is horrible. I ordered some UMA lamps and received some cheap knock-offs from another company. Granted, UMA is not a high-end brand, but the knock-offs from a company named Cosmopolitan, were very cheap-looking and poorly made. The lamps were listed as a "FINAL SALE", which is very sleazy. I was able to get a refund and in addition they graciously gave me an online credit for a future purchase. I used the credit to purchase some Colonial towels and once again received a much cheaper, flimsy set from another company. I will never order from them again..

Email said they received but in my account still in transit! I want to know if they received it and where is my refund, the customer service was so rude on the phone, this will be my last to shop with them

I reside in Canada and I've been trying to order an item to send as a gift to my partner who lives in the US. The only way I can send the birthday gift directly to my partner is if I had a US credit card. In 2021, they need to update their system. I would never shop at Rue Lala, after this experience. I was advised by their online chat rep to email *******@cs.ruelala.com, which I did on June 7th. I still haven't received a reply from my email, and today is June 10th. I had to speak to another online chat rep to tell me, they are unable to help me. The way RueLala does business is very outdated.

I needed the present and I could order another... they would not ship it any faster... it was a Christmas gift... and worst of all... I had two of the presents on my credit card because they would not credit me until they worked it out with the shipper who lost it... WTF... that is not my issue. It is between them and the shipper... Tracking showed that the shipper lost it but they made it my responsibility by not taking the charge off my credit card... RIDICULOUS

Having read all the negative reviews re Rulala I was very concerned regarding my order. I needn't have been. Today I received a genuine product, correct size, no issues at all. Rulala representative, s were available when I called re my order both were very helpful, I was calling from Ireland. I can honestly say it was a good experience and I will order from them again.

Took my watch purchased from Rue La La to Nordstrom for resizing and pointed out the loose pin on the band, they proceeded to advise me that the band was a FAKE Michelle band. I was completely horrified. Luckily when they tested the diamonds on the face they were real. Decided to keep the watch as it was a good deal, but had to spend an extra $200 to replace the fake band sold to me by Rue La La. Beware of fakes on this site!

I ordered an inexpensive oil painting for $209.00 + tax. The Art work was to be delivered 1/26. The Fed Ex order number reflected in the Ruelala System was not accurate. I contacted their team on 1/25 and advised the tracking information was not correct. I then called on 1/26 to note I did not receive the Art Work. Today is 2/4 and the Ruelala Team is yet working to resolve my issue. Each contact has been initiated by me with absolutely no resolution date forecasted. $209 + tax may not be a lot to Rue la la but it is my money and they are not in any hurry to resolve... I have spent hundreds of dollars in the past with this site, but the important word is in the PAST... I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING from RUE LALA because of their lack of resolution skills! Incompetence at its best... is in full function at Rue La La!

I ordered the luggage I saw on the Wendy's show and they told me after waiting 11 days that it never shipped. They told me that they didn't have a replacement to send to me and I told the sh$tty customer service that I never received it so how can there even be a replacement. They told me that is was going to be shipped in 2 days. It is coming from Kentucky... really folks, really! Don't order from these folks

Ru La La is advertising guaranteed Christmas delivery. I ordered items on Dec 11th and received a shipping notification on Dec 14th with Dec 26th target delivery date. My items were shipped the slowest economy delivery method Fedex offers. When I contacted Ru La La they told me since the items had already shipped there was nothing they could do and I should contact fedex to see if they could speed up delivery. Absurd. Will never order anything from them again.

I placed an order last week (12/7). I recieved my items within 5 days. However, after I placed my order for an electric kettle I found the same model at Home depot for $10 less. I wrote them (I had not received the shipping confirmation yet) to cancel my order. I never heard back from them and recived the shipping tracking number 2 days later. Once i received the order I called for my return label just to find out that this was a final sale. There is absolutly no note of final sale on my order confirmation. Not sur why I would order there again if the same item can be found at any other store for less money with a very flexible return policy. They really need to do something about the return policy, price matching and customer service.
Tip for consumers:
Make sure you read all the fine print and search the web for other retailers who might offer the same product at a lower price.

Terrible experience for the first order to Rue La La. I created account with my current address as my shipping address. Then, I proceeded my payment via Pay Pal that I also created my current address as shipping address. Here comes my nightmares that Rue La La shipped to the address I moved away and deleted 2 years ago. I asked for Rue La Las help to return and cancel the transit but got reply that they cannot help any order which has shipped out frim Rue La La. I have to hold the shipment either from FedEx or post office to return it all by myself. Otherwise, I cannot get my refund! I reached out FedEx but I hanged off the phone after an hour holding on the line. Then, I called two post offices and both of them said no tracking number was found in the system.

I woner why shipping and delivery takes one monthe, very uncomfortable, even prise and wuality pretty good but delivery is very important part of the policy. Let's say if you order christmas tree, you need to do it at least 2 monthes earlier to get it by christmas, same about winter clothing. Hope this will help you

Bought two pair of theory pants. Sent them both back but only got a refund for one. Been dealing with this for three months.Don't order from them they keep your money and your return.
Tip for consumers:
That they won’t issue a refund even though they say they do,and then not only keep your money but the items you send back.

Bought a used 1980's Rolex on RueLaLa, supposedly guaranteed Rolex, for $4999. I needed extra links for the band, so I took it to the nearest Rolex dealer. They had to send in to Rolex to match the links. Rolex said the band and internals were Rolex, the bezel, dial, and crystal were fake. The bezel was custom, so that part wasn't a surprise, but the website didn't mention the rest. Rolex won't fix anything that isn't 100% Rolex (also something RueLaLa should warn you about). Rolex wanted $4600 to return the watch to original before they would effect any repairs or even perform a cleaning, though they would sell me the extra links. Luckily, the watch is working properly for now. Rolex also said it is illegal to call any watch a Rolex that isn't 100% Rolex. Have to think that RueLaLa was aware of all this when they advertised the watch as Rolex. I called RueLaLa to complain and all they would say is all sales are final.
