This company must have been taken over by new owners. Within the last 6 months I have received missing items with refusal to have my money refunded. I ordered two pairs of shoes the same manufacturer one came with 2 right feet and the other shoe box had only one shoe. I received a skirt instead of a shirt. I received a broken necklace and a pair of earrings with missing stones. Every time I tried to get my money back they would send a return label that did not work and then I had to pay to have it picked up. This last experience was my final experience I found a great deal on a gold necklace so I ordered 9 of them and I received 4. Now they will not send the necklaces or refund my money. They blatantly said I have to fight with the creditor I used to purchase them and I am now banned from shopping with them which I obviously I would be a fool to anyway! Just stay away from this company I use to tell everyone to buy from them but now they a horror show.
Nightmarish experience would be putting it mildly. I ordered a bag and paid by Paypal. Changed my mind and returned the package unopened. That was three weeks ago. I have been trying to get my money back ever since with no luck.
I complained on another website and was contacted by a "corporate concierege" who was very nice but it appears that her job is to say, "I'm sorry" and then nothing happens. She told me over a week ago that I would have my refund "in a few days" but here we are ten days later and nothing. Then I was told they tried to refund though Paypal but it didn't go through. Paypal denies. Never had that problem in the 11 years my Paypal account has been open. So, here I sit with no merchandise, no refund. This was my first transaction with this horribly run company and it will be my last, that goes without saying.
So disappointed. Tried to make a purchase online, but the website locked up in Firefox. While I was on hold with customer service the item I wanted sold out even though I had it in my bag and was trying to buy it. Big ticket item, too.
This is to Thank all that have written a review on this company. I was about to become one of their prey.
Thank God and I hope someone can stop them from advertising so nobody gets hurt by these scam artists.

I've been a member of Rue for over a year and have scored some fantastic deals there. Recently I received an order and it was the completely wrong item. I called customer service and spoke to an actual person who was very nice and solved my issue. I returned the item an I was refunded the total purchase amount and the shipping cost. All in less than a week. Fast shipping, excellent customer service, wonderful deals! Just have to move quickly as the good deals go FAST!
First of all, I ordered a pair of shoes from here. When they arrived they were defected! I chatted with some people manager online whom told me that they didn't have anymore in stock so I could either A) Pay to get it shipped to them and they would refund just the money I paid for the shoes. Or B) Keep the shoes and they would give me a $10.00 gift card/credit. That was four months ago. I agreed for the $10.00 credit and STILL have not received it! Save yourself sometime & money from not shopping at this site.
I have been a customer of RueLaLa for several years. I never had a quality problem. Now my last 2 purchases both had issues. The quality of the items is just not there anymore. I'm considering alternatives. Plus have to pay shipping costs to return items because of RueLaLa's mistake (wrong size)? That's just sucks.
If you want return something please be careful! They know how to do dirty tricks with your money! I did order 3 items together in one transaction, they charge me with tax( total tax was 21 or 22$ but it's ok) And when l called them( after 3 weeks l didn't get my money back) girl count for me money back without tax and she took 9.99 for refund each item! Sooo l paid for my order 425$ and she send email with refund 375 $! This is CRAZY! Please check your account after refund!
I purchased, a TV Stand through Ruelala and it was shipped in a damaged box and the furniture was also damaged. It was assembled only to discover scratches, broken wood and missing parts. I have called customer support four times and even spoke with Cody a manager and they are still unwilling to refund my moneyou. They said I am responsible for taking it apart and packing it and this is unfair as well. They should pick it up as is and grant me a full refund. I will never do business with Ruelala again. They have poor cheap products and bad customer service.
I would give 0 star if I could. I bought a necklace for $400 dollars three months ago and used it very gently (meaning putting it on and not touching it while wearing it) for five times. The chain broke during the middle of a meeting and I was not touching it or anything. Given how the chain broke, it was clearly a defective product. I called the customer service and asked for a replacement or repair. They said no, stating that since it has passed the 30 days period, there is nothing they can do.
This purchase really felt like a fraud.
I always know that Rue La La sells fake luxuries, so I don't purchase those from the website. But I was not expecting the quality for those non-luxury products to be so poor. In fact, I am now guessing that the huge discount is either because the products are fake or that the products were defective and refurbished for sell.
I will never purchase anything from this website again and I suggest anyone thinking about it to think twice.
