I stop at Rural King any time I am within 50 miles of one of their stores. We were recently at Rural King in another state that we were visiting. We purchased a couple of the summer sausages. They are amazing. When we returned home one of them had some mold on the inside. The vacuum packaging had not sealed correctly. I contacted Rural King through their website and asked what we could do about it. Less than an hour later Rural King called me and pleasantly asked for a little more information. When they found out the entire story, they apologized for the inconvenience and asked for my address since there is not a store anywhere close to me. They then rush shipped me a new one and another surprise was in the package for the inconvenience it caused me. If all retail stores were like Rural King the world of shopping would be a much better place. Thank you Rural King for being amazing at what you do.

I had a disappointing experience at a local store recently that I feel compelled to share. While shopping at Royal King in Bluefield, WV, a situation arose that left me feeling disrespected and unheard. Despite trying to address the issue calmly, I was met with rudeness and confrontational behavior from the staff. It was surprising to learn that the individuals involved were the HR and operation managers of the store. As a CEO myself, I believe in upholding high standards of customer service and professionalism. It is disheartening to encounter such behavior in a retail setting, especially from those in leadership roles. I firmly believe that respect and courtesy should be fundamental values in any business. I have taken steps to address this matter through legal channels, as I believe such conduct should not be tolerated. I urge those who value ethical and respectful treatment to consider shopping elsewhere. It is essential for companies to uphold values of respect and professionalism at all levels. As leaders, we must set an example for our employees and ensure that customer service remains a top priority. I hope that this incident can serve as a reminder of the importance of treating others with dignity and respect in all interactions.

Went to buy special in flyer on red brand fence and website said order was available at location drove to location and register said was in stock but the upc number was moved to a Chinese brand of fencing. This is False advertising they are try to get rid of the crazy Chinese made fencing under the red brand name I refuses to buy the junk they loaded in my truck and got my money back. Buyer beware they are replacing America made product with Chinese junk and passing it off. This is fine advertising.
I will go somewhere else to buy American products and not be scamed

I've tried purchasing an E-gift card TWICE & it says it instantly goes to your email. They have cancelled it BOTH times with no explanation, even though the funds have been taken from my account. I called customer support and spoke with Tori and she was rude as $#*!, first of all, and then claimed that it didn't match the account even though the $250 has been removed and said there's nothing she can do! Absolutely makes NO sense and I'm VERY dissatisfied with this experience! Absolutely pathetic!

I placed an order and the company did not have the item, so instead of canceling my order and refunding my money they proceeded to send me a different item. When I called them, they recognized the problem, but it's a hassel to return the product and receive my refund. Ridiculous!

I ordered a manual log splitter from their website as it showed that it was in stock when I bought it. They gave a delivery date for one week after. A couple of days before it was due I went online to check the status of my delivery and found that it wasn't even shipped yet. So I called customer service and they told me that it was not in stock and they had no expected delivery date for it. I replied that when I bought it that is was indeed in stock and even gave me a delivery date. Why say you have it in stock when you actually don't? Just say you don't have it in stock! They told me that I will get a callback from another customer service rep with an answer. Three days later I received an email that my order was cancelled. They didn't even have the decency to call me back. I wouldn't deal with this company again nor would I recommend anyone else either.

For this site, if you have to attach proof of purchase use JPG or GIF. They don't accept PDF.

I placed 2 order and the money was taken off of 2 different credit cards and I never receive my items one order was from 82.00 and one order was for 25.00 and keep in mind these were Christmas items for my grandkids and they kept giving me the run around and now they told me I could go in the store and Purchase the items and I asked about my money that was taken off my cards and I got hung up on so now I will call the bank and open a Dispute the Charges on my card worst place so with this being said I will never order from them again!

I really love shopping at Rural King. We've even driven several miles from home to go to stores we haven't been to before. Each one is just a little different in what they have. The key to bargain shopping at Rural King is to go after the season ends. My boyfriend is a hunter and finds all his hunting stuff after the season is over. He can get things at 75% off or more. Recently we shopped at a local store and I was able to pick up several good deals. They had fleece lined leggings on sale for 2.69 and I love these leggings! Super soft! Also, they have a clearance section with not only seasonal items, but other everyday items as well. I was able to pick up some Real Tree camo mixing bowls for a 1.00 each to take to our hunting cabin. I already have the matching plates, so it was perfect. We even got a bunny last year and he loves his new home with us! They have everything from named brand clothing, house hold, kitchen, bath, hunting needs, boots, shoes, animal feed, food, garden, gun, furniture and a whole lot more! Perfect store for one stop shopping.

DO NOT ORDER A TARTER LAND PLANER (see picture) FROM THE LAFAYETTE INDIANA RURAL KING. THEY TELL YOU IT CAN'T BE DELIVERED TO YOUR HOME. OKAY, DELIVER IT TO THE STORE AND I'LL PICK IT UP. THEY ACCEPT YOUR ORDER AND TIE UP $1200 ON YOUR CREDIT CARD. THEN CANCEL IT A MONTH LATER WITH NO EXPLANATION. WHEN YOU WRITE A REVIEW ABOUT IT ON THEIR WEBSITE, THEY SEND YOU AND EMAIL SAYING THEY WON'T POST IT DUE TO SHIPPING COMPLAINTS. I WENT INTO THE STORE TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE AND A CLERK TOLD ME THAT THEIR ONLINE ORDERING SYSTEM IS A JOKE.

Most unprofessional manager EVER. I fell as I was leaving the store and the Manager kicked me out because I cursed from pain as blood was running down my legs. I think he kicked me out becuase he was afraid I was litigious. I WILL never darken thier door again!

Placed an order online, part of order cancelled the rest came broken. Waited online for 1 hour and 45 mins and still cant get through. I think they only have one person answering the phones.

I ordered 12 Suet cakes and 11 of the 12 suet cakes were delivered unsealed. Either Rural King does not care about shipping quality products or their shipping personnel are untrained.

Shopped at Rural King in Butler PA-will never go back. Store was dirty and when manager was questioned about not enforcing mask wearing was told its up to his customers whether they want to wear one-place was so crowded I paid for the barrel I needed and left. When I went to the side to get it-2 guys stood there and told me to pick which ever one I wanted and sat there while I loaded it myself-I will NEVER shop there again-I will pay the extra $20 and purchase it elsewhere.

Yes, I purchased the Meriva 12 gauge July 24th from Ruralking and was supposed to apply for rebate through Armscore, I was able to do so on the site and they said after contacting Armscore afterwards due to no response that it would be 5 to 10 days and will receive an email notification of said rebate, nothing! Let this serve as a warning to others that, you may not ever get your rebate and will be lied to!

Get a real rebate not a promised one.

I disagree with all these ratings. I have always had good experiance everytime i shop at Rural King. Headed there today as a matter of fact to get dog food and ammo. You ppl are just spoiled...

Great place to shop and they always take care of there customers.
We bought a Yardmax that was like riding a bronco while trying to till the garden.
They replaced it with no problem at all.

Service quality has gone. The last year has been terrible in Terre haute Indiana. I've left 3 times in the last 6 months and bought else where. Left today bought my gun safe at tractor supply.

False or misleading advertising is so unAmerican. Lounge chairs for 25 bucks: wanted to order 4 and that's $99 bucks. They wanted to charge me $400 dollars shipping!

Went to buy a Trailor 5-18-22
The weekend before they were 5499
They had just changed the price signs that day
Same trailer that was sitting there last weekend jump to 6299
Talked to an assistant manager
But she was rude gave me some lame story
I could understand a price jump on a new delivery due to cost
But the same trailers sitting on the lot
Automatically jumps $800
That's really wrong Rural King should be ashamed

Lately I purchased a Electrical Fence system and they solar charger which did not work from the very start I tried to return it within a few days and the girl said that you need to let the battery charge out into the Sun for a few weeks to make sure that it will work correctly so I did that and then when I went to return it the girl at the service desk said they do not accept returns after 30 days what the heck I was told I was told to give it a few weeks to charge not my fault it went over 30 days for now on when something goes bad I'm going to demand my money back the very next day that it goes bad I should have never listened to that woman they told me to let the battery charge. She was the meanest service person I've ever dealt with it very mean treated me so awful bad that I will never go back there again to shop.

Do not we trust royal king to help you out in any way with their defective many defective products

I purchased two 4000 Lumins LED security lights, one has already quit working, normally I'd say I was safe because I bought it from The Great Rural King! Not so Scottie, took it back and I believe someone replaced My Rural King with Walmart. They refused to do a swap, refused to do a refund and refused even a partial store credit, I love Rural King but never again on any lighting!

Online ordered a yard swing. The photos clearly show a frame. When it arrived it was just the swing, no frame. Ok, I wasn't feeling ripped off, just that the company didn't describe what I was actually going to get very well. Contacted customer service, to schedule a return. Was told that return shipment was on me. Made my case for the issue being theirs, but they didn't care and even went as far as to say that it did state in the description that it was swing only. I triple checked to see if I had somehow missed that part and would have taken my lumps if I had... Nope, no mention what so ever. Long story short, was told I could make the one hour trip to the nearest shipping point plus pay for return shipping or the 45 minuet trip to the store for the return. I made the store run. Whoa, what an experience. Good thing Rural King sells binder twine and bailing wire, it's the only thing that is holding their online to store return system together. What a headache and they kept the $18 in sales tax I had paid to boot. Do yourself a favor and shop somewhere else.

Your Rulal King store in Huber Heights, Ohio is not mandating face masks to enter into their store. They do have one small 9 by 12 sign on the front of their front door, which is somewhat hidden from view from people walking in! As I walked into the store the manager who was at the customer service desk was not wearing a mask. When I checked out she still had no mask on and was waiting on customers. I did say something to the two other young ladies who were standing behind the customer service desk, One had on a mask... the other one had hers pulled down to her chin. All they could say was "ma'am we just work here!"
Now I would think as a business their employees should be informed of the rulings... they didn't even offer to let me speak to the manager. So
Basically what this was telling me as well as many others entering the store with masks on that that establishment does not care about the rulings. I have since talked to MANY people in Huber Heights who have all expressed the same concern and are refusing to go back to Rural King. We can shop at Menards where masks are required and are checked as you go in the door.(and by the way it has not hurt their business one bit. Infact people want to go there becsuse they are obviously more concerned about their patrons than Rural King!) We all know that this is frustrating for businesses as well as the patrons. But it is life right now and I feel that they are being in defiance of the rules and mandates set out by our mayor! So I will not be shopping there until this is remedied. And I would appreciate a response from you as the company

My experience was less than desirable and nothing you'd wish on anyone you cared about. I saw an ad and ended up subscribed to their email, so I drove there on December 3,2019 and arrived at 6:11pm. The doors were locked. They had been blowing up my email with ads and offers on a daily basis for an entire week at that point. I had received a message from them about their extended holiday hours that afternoon, and it said they closed at 10pm. When I got there, they said there was a holiday party for the employees and their families, but I saw dozens of confused customers in the parking lot who could not understand why they were closed when emails and their website indicated they were open. Since then I have received ridiculous emails claiming things like, "If we don't have it, you don't need it." When I chose to unsubscribe from their emails, giant bold letters popped up on my screen saying, "What a shame!"

Honestly, who would choose to do business with a company that conduct its business communications and such an obtrusive and discourteous manner?

My wife used the restroom in our Bedford Indiana store and she said it terrible the doors on the stalls had been ripped off and were leaning against the wall and another was hanging off the stall.

Cannonsburg ky. I stopped in to see the ammo price s. I've never set foot inside this place ever. Was shopping for ammo. Went to the counter and the girl there was very knowledgeable and helpful and the young man there was nice and polite as well. I bout 60$ worth of ammo and paid for it no problem at the gun counter. I was walking out and I stopped in the front and was looking at some plastic totes. I had my bag in my hand and as I was walking out this manager lady yelled at me and said hey I need to see what's in your bag. First of all that was unbelievably rude. I said yea sure no problem. What made me mad was her calling me out in front of everyone. This manager doesn't know what she is doing. If your a manager you should know that you have other registers throughout the store. I will tell you this I spend a couple grand a month on target ammo and that was going to be my new spot. But after that I will take my business elsewhere. That was absolutely ridiculously embarrassing. They get 2 stars because the gun counter girl and guy were polite and knowledgeable. I'm not the type to go around and get folks on trouble but that was handled the wrong way. So to you Red headed manager at cannonsburg ky rural king you just lost a lot of business I will never be back. Acting like I did something wrong or stole something is utterly ridiculous.
