I stop at Rural King any time I am within 50 miles of one of their stores. We were recently at Rural King in another state that we were visiting. We purchased a couple of the summer sausages. They are amazing. When we returned home one of them had some mold on the inside. The vacuum packaging had not sealed correctly. I contacted Rural King through their website and asked what we could do about it. Less than an hour later Rural King called me and pleasantly asked for a little more information. When they found out the entire story, they apologized for the inconvenience and asked for my address since there is not a store anywhere close to me. They then rush shipped me a new one and another surprise was in the package for the inconvenience it caused me. If all retail stores were like Rural King the world of shopping would be a much better place. Thank you Rural King for being amazing at what you do.

I bought a gun 4 and a half months ago from Rural King rk guns sent it to Shelbyville Kentucky and I've already had to go back up there and do 3 background checks because they make you wait 30 days even though Kentucky don't have a gun law federal government is only reason kentuckians got to wait 7 days to get a gun if they're delayed Rural King says they keep me on the delay for 30 days I've done it three months in a row bul$#*!

I am a regular customer of Rural King stores in Cross Lanes, WV and Ashland, KY and Gallipolis, OH. Never had an issue in store or with any purchases besides a really cheap Remington weed eater. It had issues from the start and the guys in Repair dept at Cross Lanes, WV fixed it for free and they weren't under any obligation to even fix it. Online purchases have always come on time as ordered.
Purchased "INSTANT" online gift card. Rural King flagged my information as fraud. Still waiting after 4 days, 2 phone calls and 2 emails for my instant gift card.
I bought a log swing for my wife last November. The legs are splitting. I sent pictures and a complaint. I never recieved a response. Very disappointed.

Brought a Bestway pool 14 x 48, $$500.00. Setup, but pump leaked from the bottom. Called customer service, they took my information and told me someone would get back to me. Next day received and email below. Web site does not exist. bestwaycorp.com/support, jokes on me. I can't wait till August to resolve the issue, I need the pump, so I had to purchase a new pump on Amazon. Brought and intex pump, works beautiful and no leaks. Will not do any business with Rural King or Tractor Supply ever again. I placed an order on 12/3. Site advertises 2 day shipping. It is now the 11th and still have NOT received my order. I DON'T recommend ordering from them. I will NEVER order from them again!
If your credit card/bank card is declined don't dispair…. You are in good hands! They only need to walk over to the center pole, climb a ladder and reset the router…. Then wait 5 minutes and do the same thing again. This happened to me last night; however, in between this high-tech maneuver, I had 20 items that had to be rescanned. But wait, first time, the total was $190, second time was $172, and the third time was $194! Hmmm? Oh! Did I tell you that on the third attempt they said I would need to pay with cash? I said, Ok. I will go to Kroger and get the money! I said, because I. Am on crutches and there is an ice storm (Feb 17th, 2021/ ~ 8:20 pm; Kokomo, Indiana). I came back at 8:45 pm and my cart was gone and I was told to come back tomorrow! Thankfully, Mitch (worked their 9 years) saw my crutches sliding back and forth on their cement floor had decided to hold back on the order to put items back on the shelf and helped me - - from falling on the ice covered floor! They sent me the wrong items and told me to wait 7 to 10 business days before they get back to me to process the return. UNBELIEVABLE! I will NEVER buy anything from them again.

Poor business practice allowing people to order online, then cancelling items and then charging outrageous amounts to ship.
Ordered product over a week ago, not shipped yet, no response from Rural King. I will stick with Blains Farm and Fleet.
The ASMs are all best friends, get away with doing minimal work throughout the day. They've all got a superiority complex once in the position, with the exception of one, who was always that way. They're incredibly disrespectful to anyone under them except for a few favorites they have, and it shows blaringly obvioualy. They pile tasks onto other employees including the HR rep, whose job is NOT to be moving freight or any other task on the floor as it isn't their job. Now they have no time to assist employees with issues or check scheduling requests.
There's a particular employee who keeps stealing coworkers food and drinks, sabotaging things in the breakroom which can and have made coworkers sick but management won't do anything about because, and this is an actual quote, "There's no cameras back there so we can't do anything about it." They have the witnesses but refuse to punish the person.
There is no longer a dedicated person to clean restrooms and they have not been cleaned in 2 weeks now. The mop bucket still has the same black water in it. The floors and toilets are nasty, even the stall walls are disgusting. There's no ventilation in employee OR customer restrooms.
I respect the store manager for all the effort they put forth but they seem to have difficulty getting the ASMs under control. Management needs an extreme make over.
Special attention needs to be given to the chicks as well. Their care is severely lacking as of late. I would attach photos but they may upset some people.
Overall, I love my job and really enjoy most of my coworkers. It's not a bad place to work but it's easy to go home angry.
