The flowers were never delivered! Absolutely pathetic! It meant the world to me to have the flowers there for my family! Nothing! How in gods name can you do this to people who are already riddled with grief? No excuse at all! I am so upset!

Terrible experience! Unfortunately I was in rush needed to sent an arrangement immediately! Did not get a chance to read the review after been charged for over $200 when I saw the picture from the recipient was so embarrassing compare what they have the pictures on their crooked website! My husband tried to surprise me with an anniversary bouquet and a balloon. The arrangement never arrived. We called and Maria told us she would track down the driver. We waited at the restaurant for 2 and 1/2 hours and the flowers never arrived. We tried to go pick them up but found that Ruth's Roses is not a local florist but a dispatch with no one ultimately in charge. We were told to wait for an email response and have been back and forth on email for 5 days. I am now disputing the charge with the credit Card company.

My husband thought he was choosing a local company but when we offered to go there and pick them up we were told they couldn't disclose the business location!!

Please read reviews before placing an order. I didn't and paid a hefty price. The quality of their product is horrible and their service is non existent. Pretty disgusting way of doing business. Expensive price to pay but worth it as I can warn people about this horrible company. Don't do it …but if you do, please post a review.

Completely unprofessional! Casket spray and other funeral flowers were ordered, saying they were in stock. 8 hours later (after 5PM) there was a credit card reversal - they 'ran out' of flowers! No call, no email, and the funeral was the next afternoon! When they were called, and asked how they were going to make this right, they hung up! Nothing like having to scramble to find funeral flowers after 5 to be delivered on an early Sunday afternoon!

Thought i was ordering from a local florist - THEY AREN'T! Picked a premium birthday bouquet, it said "free delivery", but after inputting all the info (including credit card) they charged a $18.95 "service fee"! - these photos show what their "standard" was and what was delivered for $98!

This is what I had sent to Ruth's Roses.
"I had sent pictures to you regarding my order Sincerely Heartfelt Basket (Deluxe - S5335s) total 93.89. What was sent is not what I had ordered, I had sent you comparison photos. The flowers were sent to a young mother as her father had just died. What was sent was old and extremely cheap-looking, the flowers were old and the basket was not even similar to what you had advertised, the basket would not even sit flat, it was bent.
As I requested previously I would appreciate a replacement."
After several emails, Ruth's Roses no longer replies to my email, they say what they sent is a substitute per their policy, What they sent was an insult!

I ordered via phone and the lady said there was a fee to take the order. It was almost $20! I called to place my order around 10:30am and asked them politely if they could deliver right after lunch between. 2pm and 3pm before my sister got off work. She left work at 3:30 with no delivery for her Birthday! They finally delivered the flowers after 4pm after the delivery guy was rude and hateful to my sister over the phone before delivery. She won't get her flowers until tomorrow when she arrives at work. And from what I've seen so far doesn't look like they will be what the picture was I ordered online. Pissed customer here! Hoping to get a refund or at least a partial

Worst experience ever. I ordered pink and white flowers large arrangment and received a very sad looking arrangment; in addition I ordered a box of chocolates and a Teddy bear and they were not delivered. Simply embarrassing! This was not arranged by a professional.😡

Ordered flowers for delivery. Vender unable to fulfill order. No contact from business, only found out because I called to check on order. Person who took my phone order wrote my email down wrong. The purchase deducted immediately from account, it will take 3-5 business days for refund to be put back in account. In my opinion, you should save yourself the disappointment and frustration by using a different florist.

1) What I ordered:
"This brilliant combination of blooms brings those possibilities to life...featuring roses, dianthus, mini hydrangea, succulent head and pittosporum in a clear glass cylinder vase"
2) What I got:
Appears to be a 3 for $10 grocery store special of mixed flowers delivered in a lidless mason jar!
3) You cannot speak to anyone in charge or that is in the local area - they are all living in an area 'they cannot disclose' and only provide 'customer service' for the business
Again - DO NOT waste your money!

So I ordered flowers for a 60th birthday from Ruth's Roses online at https://www.ruthsroses.com/products/rose-bouquet-in-a-pitcher and what I received was a basic clear vase after I confirmed my purchase in a phone call that was recorded. I encourage you to carefully consider who you choose to do business with in the future for your flower orders. These businesses engaged in false advertising by accepting my order under the condition that it included the pitcher, as explicitly discussed during my recorded phone call. I was assured the flowers would come with the pitcher, yet this promise was not fulfilled.

My Ant's funeral.
Ordered a wreath for my Ant's funeral.
Placed the order on Thursday the 10 of October 2024 at 8:00 am. To be delivered at 10:00am on Saturday 12 October 2024.
My family called at 1147am that flowers had not arrived yet. Called the office and reported that the flowers had not arrive yet, the lady replied she find out the problem and get right back with me.
Forty five minutes later I had yet to hear back from Ruth Rose's So I called again!
The young man that spoke with eventually after so ducking and dodging words that they were there now.
I asked because yall were over two hours late we should get a discount?
His response was the office will call you right back.
No response from the office!
When you have a love one pass and cannot get there.
You want show your love and support for the family. Ruth Rose's charged my CC. They don't care
Save yourself the trouble and embarrassment use any body else!

Sadly, I fell for their website photograph, and never imagined that I would need to read the entire website to know what I was getting into.
If I could give a -5 star review I would. I sincerely wish that I had spent two minutes looking at reviews for this shop, it would have saved me over two hundred dollars. The orchids that were delivered were healthy and pretty, aside from that it was horrible. The pot was misrepresented in every way but color: entirely too small, forcing the plants to be overcrowded, and the shape left the entire arrangement unbalanced and cheap looking. The picture on the website for this arrangement is beautiful, with a pot designed to look like a vintage piece that has attractive lines and detail. The pot delivered is perhaps half the size shown, and because the plants are so crowded it was impossible to finish the arrangement with the nice stones covering the plant substrate, which would have added the nice polished appearance that is seen in their gallery photograph. The description below the photograph does say that it contains three plants, each of a different color (which was accurate) however what is shown in the photograph has six plants, two of each color. Technically, they delivered the plants stated in the description, but be aware that the beautiful picture does not represent what they sell. I could have gone to any garden center and bought the plants for ~$60, and stopped by a dollar store for a pot under $10 and thrown it together for a fraction of the money. Their defense is that in the fine print:
"Substitution Policies 21. If a floral container or vase is not available a similar container will be substituted. 22. Flower arrangements and assorted flowers, if some flowers are not available, we will substitute other kinds of flowers at equal or greater value. 23. Specialty gifts may be substituted with another specialty gift of equal or greater value within the same category. "
Keep in mind that you will not be given the opportunity to see what they intend to substitute the original item with, or even that they will need to make a substitution in the first place. The whole experience felt like a craps shoot, and yes, the house won again. I have, over the years bought arrangements for people many times, and I have never felt so utterly robbed.

If they had a zero rating, I would've used that she does not even deserve a 'one' if I had a negative 5 that's what she gets...I called Ruth at 4:30. Her time left a message because there was no answer even though it said they're open till eight, I needed some flowers delivered the next day for my wife's birthday, she is a subcontractor she will lie to you. I ordered flowers and asked to her why she did not call me back. She said she was busy had a lot of work. She does not do the work there! She is a lier! I asked if it was her shop and she said yes!she lied again, she subcontracts it out. I got a email 5 hours later from some other company stating they could not deliver them because they did not have the right stock And refunded my credit card,, fortunately for me I had other emails I had to look at and saw it. Otherwise I never would've known my flowers were not going to be delivered. Not a phone call back to me …Do not, i repeat. Do not use these people. Use Berretts blossoms. Barrett's was professional and very nice and rushed in order out with only three hours to spare. Do not use Rosie. She is a rip off. Will not even call and tell you they can't deliver the flowers, it was not even her that sent me an email. It was some other sub company, I was very upset thank goodness for Beretta blossoms they came thru, use them, thanks for reading Julie c.

I wish I had seen these reviews before I ordered flowers for the wake of a dear friend! I ordered the premium of an "FTD" arrangement. What I got was half the size I ordered and did not have the colors I ordered. The service fee was quite high but I decided that it was probably in keeping with other businesses. I have complained to the company, but based on other reviews, not hopeful. But it doesn't matter because the flowers were so disappointing when I needed something worthwhile. It's not like there will be another wake of this person. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.

This is NOT a local florist this is a broker who subcontracts out to cheaper florists… if you pay for deluxe you do not get deluxe because they keep your upgraded flower arrangement price as a profit. What you see is not what you get. BUYER BE WARE look at the BBB reviews before shelling out your hard earned money. I was faked out by their false advertising of being "local" to the area I wanted to send flowers to. The FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION needs to shut them down. This florist shows up in all advertising as delivering locally but they are NOT local buyer be ware

Horrible. Awful. I spoke with the person who took my order at length and wrote down everything we discussed and agreed to, which was a glass vase and long-stem flowers. What was delivered were stupid cheap carnations in an ugly basket. Cringe-worthy. Called and they pawned me off to a service email address. Service person said this bait-and-switch is part of their policy, and didn't I refer to it on their website? Uh, no, shouldn't your order-taker tell me that what we discussed and agreed to might be completely different? What horrible, cheap, unethical people these are. Will never do business with them again and will be sure to tell friends and family to steer clear of them. They don't deserve your business.

I placed an order at 10 am for same day delivery. They guaranteed the delivery. It never delivered. The people on the customer service line were horrible & rude and not helpful or apologetic in any way. PLEASE do not purchase from Ruth's Roses.
