I purchased a five pounds sim from RWG mobile on the 23 rd March 2023, their website states two working days to allow you to use your old number once you have submitted a PAC code.
They have taken my money and today at the time of writing I still am without the use of my mobile phone. Customer service is terrible should you ring at ten am as I did a message tells you to ring back during opening hours which they state is 9am. Have been unable to get through on the phone since after six attempts.
Initially they did respond but stated they did not understand why my phone wouldn't work, and to switch it off and back on again which I did and it made no difference.
I advised them my phone was a new iPhone and that it works perfectly with a different SIM card, they wrote back stating it was a porting issue, so I wrote to my old provider and they quickly wrote back to say the number had been ported successfully and that they would assist if the new company RWG mobile would get in touch.
I sent a copy of that response to RWG mobile and as of today the 5th of April I am still unable to make calls.
Cannot send for a PAC number to get my old number back as cannot use my phone.
Shocking behaviour and anyone considering using them should think very carefully based on my personal experience and that of others.
