We ordered a saber November 18th and payment has been taken out. We paid extra for shipping and haven't even received a confirmation of purchase yet. I do however have confirmation from my credit card that it was taken. No one has returned our emails. Its suppose to be coming to us in Canada. Does anyone have a phone number for this place. Very very upsetting.

The one star is only to submit this review and that is being generous, avoid at all costs if you are new to building them or live outside the United States. Took about 6 months to finally arrive, very unhelpful in the fact that in all that time my young daughter who was trying to get her first ever saber was not even contacted to say she hasn't got the right parts to make it a compatible working saber with light and sound and now they have quoted a additional £150 plus postage and custom fee not included for them to make it work adequately or stick with a hollow useless saber, very much not impressed by the customer service for what they charge

When I first ordered from SaberForge, I was misinformed of shipping times. After a battle through customer service, the owner personally reached out to me to help resolve the issue. Now, shipping is on track and everything looks good to go.

Their system isn't perfect, but they still do care about their customers.

Do not buy from
November 4, 2020

Do not buy anything from Saberforge. I ordered a standard build lightsaber on May 13,2020 and have not received it yet. I have emailed their customer service four times and been given excuses and promised my ordered would be rushed. That was a month and half ago and still my order is still in assembly. Do not waste your money and time. They offered $50 off my next order or a free gift because of the delay in their last response, all of their responses have taken at least a week as well. Can't tell you about a product I have never received and am beginning to think I'll never get. I am contacting the Better Business Bureau to see if I can get what I paid for almost 6 months ago. So much for a 12 to 18 week delivery time.

Never have I dealt with such terrible customer service. I don't ever care to write reviews, but this one takes the cake. I ordered a new saber June 1st of this year. And I still dont have it. I have friends who ordered new sabers from here after I did, and received their sabers months ago. Yet I still have no saber. They take literal days to even email you back about anything. Then they just tell you their putting a rush order note on it, which I'm sure they actually don't. I have emailed at least 4 times, and only received 3 messages back. I even went as far as ordering a saber from another website, and guess what, I got it already. 1 week versus Saberforge's infamous 6 month wait time. I would not recommend a saber from them, regardless of how well they're crafted. They took my money, and have produced no product. Even if/when I receive my saber, this review will stay here, and I will never get one from saberforge again.

Order gone wrong
October 31, 2020

I have placed a order on the 19th of October 2020 and yet I have sent many emails and all I received is a automatic generated email stated that they would get in touch with me with in 5 business days. It's now been three weeks and all I have ordered is blade plug and a cover tech wheel no saber. I would have thought this would be easy to get.

They have a horrible customer service, and will refuse to give you a full refund even if you request it before they deliver your order. Do not purchase from them.

I am definitely not one to write a bad review, I'm very civil about wait times, order mix ups, I understand and I've pardoned a lot of things in the past. But this place, Oh boy. I ordered my lightsaber June 15th, I follow up emailed once a month every month until this week, October. They said my lightsaber was on hold because I haven't paid in full (As if 300 DOLLARS isn't enough). So they were waiting on ME to pay, without telling me? How was I supposed to know? If I hadn't inquired, it probably would've sat there for a year. They have no customer service skills, NO phone line so you HAVE to email which takes them 5 or 6 says to respond EVERT time, so a conversation can take WEEKS. ITs crazy expensive, and my friend who bought one says there aren't even that durable, just for looks. Go to ultrasabers. I have one of theirs, its nice.

Ok so, I cant tell yall enough how amazing the craftsmanship was on this saber. FAR more detail than all my other sabers and I just love looking at it and holding it. I purchased the Fallen Order MK 2. Its sleek, metal is exquisite, and so on.

Here's where the terrible part comes in. I ordered it on May 6th of 2020, I received it on October 19th of 2020. That is well over 5 months of a wait time which was rather odd and somewhat frustrating. Furthermore, when I ask about the order, I was ignored (email was not responded to).

I completely understand the life of customer service as I am in that field, but they could definitely step up in that way.

I sliced my thumb on the saber 10 sec into using it so I'm not sure if it needs to be sanded on the edges but it's really sharp, a little inconvenient, or dueling, but that's an easy fix since I have the tools for it. It didn't come with a hex key which I'm not sure if it's supposed to but it would be nice if it did.

Overall, if your willing to test your luck on the shipping/wait time/customer service end. TOTALLY WORTH IT!

Saberforge did great
September 7, 2020

I want to give my experience with saber forge and Philip.

I ordered my saber and I got a very quick response to my order. I ordered the bane M K2 with veteran sound.

I have heard a lot of stories about sabers taking months to arriveAnd then when they get there they don't work.

I am grateful to say this was not my experience. My saber arrived in just a matter of weeks. And I was in contact with Philip through Facebook regularly. He kept me updated About my saber in how it was coming along.

When my saber arrived today everything was intact and the packaging was Immaculate.

I did have to The wheel for the Belt clip, And at 1st I did not know how to take out the blade plug.

However after posting to this site I got a quick answer from the community and then within a matter of minutes Philip privately message me and also told me what to do.

My saber is beautifully made very well constructed I was impressed with the weight and quality of work. The sound is phenomenal. I'm still learning how to switch from different sound fonts.

Over all my experience with saber forge has been A+

If I ever need any more light sabers I definitely will buy from saber forge. It was worth every penny.

Terrible, first time and the last time I order from them. If you cant handle the number of orders you get, then either hire more people or stop taking that many orders.

Don't order from them they are absolutely appalling. If for some reason you do order a saber from them expect no customer service at all, a poor quality product, an unexpected demand for import duties at 33% of the cost of the saber and they will consistently fail to be honest with you.

There is no good reason to deal with this shambolic company.

I ignored the reviews because a personal friend had a good experience. Good experiences can happen but they seem to be exceptions and sporadic at best. They probably take so long to make it hard to dispute a charge with your bank when they don't answer your email for refund after your item is "lost in the mail" and they don't answer emails even if you weren't bothering them constantly about where your order is like some peoe might and it still makes them slow down your order. People are considered "entitled" because they expect to receive a product that can cost several hundred dollars or more in a reasonable and timely manner or at least be notified if SF won't be able to deliver on time. Shop at your own risk, don't say you weren't warned

Customer service is terrible, their website claims 12-15 weeks. After 20 weeks (in which I wrote e-mails periodically to get updates) they forget to include sound, that thing they casually charge a minimum of 100$ to include. I'm a teacher, I don't get to treat myself to luxury items very often; so this was a pretty bad blow to me, and I implore you don't support this company, they care nothing about you or about Star Wars.

Over critiqued
July 21, 2020

Saberforge is great. I got my lightsaber in 4 weeks which is really fast for more expensive sabers. They had good tracking. So many people are complaining about shipping. They say it can take up to 4 months. My saber which was an eco class was built very nice and is sturdy.

Saberforge is a rip off! Ordered a saber in April never got it. When you inquire they say quit emailing us or we'll keep putting you at the end of the list and might not get to you at all. Rip off!

After 6 months of waiting I finally got my saber and the quality is terrible. The entire emoter section is loose as one of the screws is missing and the other one is broken. The buttons for the switch aren't even attached and when I attempted to attach them they didn't fit into the saber. I still have received a response to my initial email to customer service and I doubt I will anytime soon. I will never order from this site again and I suggest you do the same.

Purchase of a simple Eco saber made around the end of November still not received.

No response from them by email... packages arrive in France but not at home (I also received a package from them which was not intended for me.) Suddenly I learn that my sword is return to the United States.

I therefore ask where my sword is and I do not receive any response from them for 2 MONTHS!

Not only am I told that he will be sent back (without any excuse for the concerns that come from their home), they don't make any commercial gestures to me, but on top of that, they block me on the facebook page so that I can not talk about this story (deletion of my post and comments + unable to write on their page).

Today May 02 (be 7 months later) my lightsaber still hasn't arrived.

Never buy your lightsaber from this crook company. Once your blue card has been sucked in there is nothing more for you to do.

This is a response to my e-mail where I explained that the entire reason for me ordering the thing has passed, at this point I'm just waiting to see if they actually fulfill the order or not. This is pulled directly from their e-mail, no editing except for font, which is different mid-way through (likely the first bit is a copy-pasted, canned response to e-mails). Also, they don't appear to count mondays as business days, so the lead time on their responses reflects that as well (if you e-mail them on a friday, you can expect to wait almost 2 calendar weeks to get a reply, minimum).

Ordered without knowing about the incredible lead times on their items. Only after they took my money did they let me know it is at barest minimum 9 weeks to receive anything from them. I e-mailed them 4 weeks out to get any kind of update on the process, and it took them 2 weeks to reply to my e-mail. The customer service person said to expect at least a 2-5 weekday lead time on e-mail responses. I e-mailed back and it's been almost 3 weeks with no response. I've filled out a BBB complaint, for whatever that is worth. I spent almost $400 on my order, and I have a creeping suspicion I will not see hide or tail of either my order, or that money again. Buyers beware, there has to be a better option than this.

Its been over two months since i placed my order. Nothing costume about what i ordered. Just two plan lightsabers. Still waiting for them to Process my order, but be sure they already took my money. Trying to get help or talk to someone is a joke. I have sent in many emails and i just keep getting told just to wait and how they dont cancel orders even if they haven't made it yet. What a waste of time. I could have gotten better lightsabers anywhere and not have this kind of trouble. Ever order from this people.
