Sailrite has the best website and customer service out there no doubt. The best selection of the highest quality materials and tools. My only complaints or if I could come up with a complaint is I would prefer the shipping was a bit faster and deeper discounts to incentivize professionals in the industry like me to shop more with Sailrite. I have 5 suppliers trying to get the best pricing because price is profit in my business
Whenever I have any small issue (need a rush order, need help figuring out what part to order) sailrite is always so helpful on the phone AND via email. They are great and I am obsessed with the support team and products!
I have purchased fabric in the past, and am considering ordering again. Getting ideas is easy when Sailrite does an outstanding job get the swatches to you quickly! I will order from Sailrite whenever I have fabric needs.
I ordered all the supplies I would need to make a sub screen for my boat windshield, after watching your bow to video, and looking at the supplies I would need that you provided I was able to make my own saving myself tones of money and it came out awesome. I will def order supplies from you guys in the future!
I have been ordering supplies from Sailrite for my one-woman canvas shop since 2016. At first they were great. I have defended them to my bigger marine canvas buddies as the go-to place for small quantities, good prices and great customer service. Over the years they have changed for the worse in all three categories. Lately I have been most frustrated by the condition of materials which no longer arrive in boxes but in plastic sleeves. The plastic sleeves get scuffed on the ends, the fabric gets dirty and the cardboard tubes--if you're lucky enough to get them--get bent. Bent tubes put creases in fabric, especially Sunbrella and vinyl.
Most recently I ordered 3 yards of cushion underlining. It came folded and stuffed in a box! I needed it for a job that was on the table. I was waiting for it so that I could finish the job. But before I could use it I had to go over the wrinkles with a heat gun and tightly roll it myself and leave it overnight to try to get the creases out. I spent 20 minutes dealing with damages that wouldn't have existed if they had spent 20 seconds rolling it onto a tube. I lost an afternoon's work.
Sailrite is losing me as a customer. Their prices are going up and their product handling is becoming shabby. They don't seem to care about the end user like they used to.
I was looking for mask "filter material". When I did a general google search and sailrite popped up I immediately stopped looking, went straight to sailrite.com and purchased my item. Theh have never disappointed me. Product arrived and was exactly as it was portrayed. Very happy with the item.
The website was easy to follow and the product came relatively quickly. I was very pleased with the product that I had bought. I had some tears in the fabric of my outside table umbrella which prevented me from using it. I applied the glue where I needed to and within 10 minutes the glue worked perfectly and I was able to use my umbrella again.
A compact industrial straight/zigzag, walking-foot machine, of this quality level, at this price... I knew as soon as I saw it, I would make it my highest priority. This machine is more than worth the price, many times over! I was a costume director in a theater, and I often worked with such a bizarre array of fabrics that, a machine that can literally handle anything I run under the foot, would have been priceless! I bet this machine would sew through aluminum flashing! Not that I'd recommend that. If you need a machine that can handle anything, this is the machine for you! Though you may also want to invest in a good hand-truck... heavy duty means heavy machine. :)
I have used Sailrite pretty regularly over the last few months - I do alot of boat cushions/alterations. They are GREAT to work with! I have never had a bad experience with them. I plan to continue ordering many things from this company.
The fabric is absolutely gorgeous the color is a nice charcoal color or deep grey without being too dark. I am using it for drapes in the family room with a large leather sofa. The perfect fabric for a warm and inviting space. The weight will be perfect for these drapes. I will line them as well. Not to add body to the drape just a very nice professional way to make a curtain. It is a mid weight fabric in my opinion. I feel it would be excellent for any upholstery, pillow, or curtain project. It has a nice men's wear feel to it that I love. Did you see that I recieved the fabric the VERY NEXT DAY! Lighting fast delivery. This is a very professional and knowledgeable and educational business. They have always had amazing customer service and the videos and tutorials on their website are so educational. I have learned so much from them. Thank you so much for my amazing fabric.
