I called for pricing on a replacement part for my Kenmore range hood. I thought the price was high, but since it was an 'original' replacement part, I agreed to purchase it. I called back the next day (w/in 24 hours) and was told the price is now 29% HIGHER. They could not do anything to help except offer a one-time courtesy of a 10% discount, which means I still pay significantly more than I would have 24 hours earlier. THIS IS NOT THE SEARS I HAVE KNOWN. I have (had) been a lifetime customer since 1984. Sears used to be a trusted name... trust broken... moving on to other companies. I guess I shouldn't be surprised at the shuttering of stores or their amateurish on-line business.

Long wait time no communication.

Bad Bad Bad! How Sears has gone into the toilet. I ordered two small plastic caps that website showed was in stock and waited and waited after 9 days I contacted Customer Service ( call # 1) and was told parts were coming in from distributor in another week. I asked why it was taking so long just to process order and could not get a sensible answer so I waited 5 more days and no word or update from Sears so I called again (call # 2) and was told parts were processed and order put through and would arrive in another 5-6 days. They did not arrive so after 7 days call ( #3) to see whats going on and was told parts were coming from manufacturer which I am pretty sure is China and that they were on back order now but website showed they were in stock so I asked how long now and was told be another 2 weeks, which would take it to around the 18 th of September and website showed was in stock and I also was cut off several times while trying to talk to customer service reps. I called today 9/11 and was told still back ordered but now ETA of approximate Sept. 29 so over a month.This site is so screwed up they don't know what they are doing. I cancelled order and went elsewhere. Terrible site to get parts through or anything for that matter. Do not waste your time this is NOT Sears anymore.

Disapointed
July 25, 2023

Ordered replacement shelf for kenmore refrigerator. Was quoted price for complete shelf, frame glass and trim. Even discussed fact that ups was careful and I wouldn't have to worry about broken glass. When I recieved my order it was only frame and trim. When I called I was told glass would cost 99 dollars more. Seems to me someone lied about what I was getting.

HORRIBLE

I order a part last Friday. I was suppose to receive it Wednesday. I checked the status Tuesday and had been canceled. After getting disconnected several times I got ahold of someone and they said that I was being refund and that the item wasn't in stock but now is and I could reorder it. Now delivery date was supposed to be Friday. I Checked the status Wednesday night and it was showing canceled again. Thursday when I contacted them they said the parts not available and they would process both of my refunds and be sending me an email showing the refund. Still no email.

Ordered parts for LG dryer on Tuesday (in stock) paid extra to receive by Thursday. Contacted on Friday and was told they would refund my shipping, Parts were coming from supplier and would ship in 2 to 3 days, Ordered parts from other supplier on Saturday and had by Tuesday. Now have non returnable parts from Sears

Cannot cancel an order
September 13, 2020

Placed an order for a lawn tractor part that their site said was in stock on 6/13/20. They charged my credit card on that date. A week later, the status of the part changed to "ordered" with a note that it was on order from their supplier.
Fast forward to early August, 2020. No status change. Called the customer service number and was told that they would inquire of their vendor about the status and that I would be updated by email within 3 business days. A week later and another call - same thing. On August 13,2020, I started an online chat with Sears Parts Direct customer service (so I would have a record of the conversation). I asked to cancel the order because it looks like they will not be able to supply the part. I was told that my request would be "referred to our back-end team" and I would get a confirmation of cancellation within 3 business days. 4 business days later, I chat again. I get the same response. They are trying to contact their vendor to cancel the order. I explain that I did not order from their vendor, I ordered from Sears Parts Direct. I have contacted then via chat every 4-5 business days since, same result, despite talking to "floor managers" every time. I have submitted a fraud complaint to my credit card company and will be contacting State Attorney General's office FTC Consumer Complaints Division this week. Should not take a month to cancel an order that has not been shipped (and that evidently they do not even have).

If I could give them 0 starts, I would, but I don't get to leave a review without 1 star.

I have been in more than 4 different chats to cancel my $145 back order. I dont think i will ever get my refund. I was warned about the site and should have never attempted to place an order with them. All i get is 2 to 3 days delays to get my refund. Now it is 3 to 5 days delayed to get my card credited. Delays Delays and bogus emails. BUNCH OF LIARS AND SCAMMERS. BOGUS INDIAN FRONT. Will never buy from Sears ever again. Its not even real anymore

Ordered a grill tray in May, waited waited, Backordered, canceled, refunded. Ordered another grill tray, waited, waited, Backordered, called customer service again, who basically baby talked me into thinking everything's ok. It's Mid June now and I still don't have a grill tray, Summer is being wasted by this terrible ghost of what once was a Sears.

Broken ceramic igniter
December 30, 2022

NEVER ORDER FROM SEARS PARTS DIRECT! After waiting a week to get my oven igniter, packaging arrived opened and ceramic igniter was in 5 pieces. Wasn't secured/wrapped in box and box was open! Called customer service and they could not help me because "their computer system was down for maintenance" and they did not offer to call me back when system was back up. They told me to call them back in a day or so. I have ordered dozens of parts from here over the years but their customer service has really gone downhill! When are people going to learn? You have to treat customers right if you wanted them to come back! STAY AWAY!

3 month backorder
May 20, 2021

I ordered a fuel tank for my snowblower from there website on February 17,2021. In the middle of April i received notification it was backordered. As this was for my snow blower no big deal. I just wanted it by october. I called a couple times in late April early May to have them update their website to indicate the part was on backorder vs in stock. May 19th i received notice that they had processed a partial refund. Which was the cost of the part not including shipping. On my card they processed both refunds. As i talked with numerous customer support representatives to figure out that my order just did NOT process properly and that is what was the problem. I feel like i should NOT have had my order canceled without my request.

Horrible

I foolishly opt to go the sears direct route instead of ebay because i could get my microwave part quicker, 1 week as opposed to 2 weeks. Paid a ridicules amount for shipping. Now almost 2 weeks later still NO PART! Call there is No customer service just a recording. But based off the recording my part was shipped, based off their website and the UPS site a sticker a label has been made but the part has not arrived at the facility yet! There is no way to speak with anyone and have tried all of the phone numbers i have come across! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS SITE!
Lesson learned i have never had an issue with ebay they will be my only go to for parts in the future!

Every rating of 1 is an exaggeration-it rates Sears PartsDirect way too high. Don't buy anything here-just don't do it! You'll be sorry if you do, for all the reasons people have mentioned.

I ordered a part in April and in July I'm still waiting. The 800# doesn't work and their chat will only tell you they're very busy trying to catch up on back orders.

After ordering my part, being told it was in stock, waiting 24 hours for shipping confirmation, calling customer service, being told there systems are experiencing technical difficulties (they were still somehow technically able to charge my card), no product! Cannot cancel order by phone or by website directions. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FORM THIS SHAM OF AN OUTFIT!

I ordered a part for a kitchen aid microwave. It was supposed to be here in about a week and arrive on a Friday. It has now been to 7 different facilities. Amongst these facilities are offices in the Philippines, Texas, Oklahoma and Illinois. I am in California. Today I received another message saying that the package is not not going to be delivered unless I go to a "ups" website and give the shipping address and email and more first. Once I did that they wanted a credit card to pay for the "redelivery fee" which was 74 cents. That's where I drew the line. I looked and USPS and UPS will not charge for redelivery. Besides, what the hell happened to the address on the package? It's as if they are just sending a box around the states hoping they will get lucky. I tried to cancel my order and they said it can't be done and I have to call them in the morning. Better believe I will be calling. Do not use sears parts direct for anything. Trust me. It is a hassle and a headache and you might find yourself losing a lot more than you could eve gain. Even if you did somehow get your part.

DON"T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU. I do not recommend ordering anything from Sears Parts Direct. I placed an order for a lawn tractor part. I waited six weeks -during which time I made calls and was promised that the order status WOULD be updated by a certain date, and assured that the part WAS AVAILABLE. Nothing doing. After yet another call they actually asked me to wait another 2 weeks. The SEARS that we once knew is dead and gone What ever is left is totally unreliable.
