Was, and am very pleased w/Seeking Alpha Premium. Lots of extra data about companies that I'm interested in. Well worth the cost.
Articles are well-thought out, factual and data-driven. For dividend investors, Seeking Alpha offers serious opportunities.

I have subscribed to several newsletters. Some of which are much more expensive than Seeking Alpha…but none is better.
Thanks.

The authors there are very subjective and probably receive funding from companies, not professionals.
Very extensive and insightful research. Opposing views on stocks allows you to get "lost in the weeds".

I am mostly satisfied with using SA.
My only problem is the timing of stock quotes, which are constantly being delayed.
Hi Leonid,
Thank you so much for taking a moment to review us! We work hard to meet expectations like yours, and we’re happy to hear the content and analysis on Seeking Alpha is hitting the mark for you.
Seeking Alpha sources ticker quotes from a IEX (our data vendor). We have 2 levels of service agreement with our vendor:
1. Realtime Quotes - Quotes for tickers that trade on the IEX exchange are delivered in real-time, they are usually frequently traded securities Ex. AAPL, MSFT etc. The system allows 15-minutes as a grace period for real-time quotes i. E. the system displays the label as 'IEX real time price' if the time difference between 2 quotes is less than 15 minutes.
2. Delayed Quotes: Quotes for thinly traded securities are delivered in delayed form i. E. stocks for which no trade has happened on the IEX exchange in the last 15 minutes. In such cases, the most recent quote from another exchange is displayed with a '15-minute delayed price' label.
Both the real-time and Delayed labels are displayed on the symbol page, respectively.
Also, Aftermarket quotes are delayed by 15-minutes

There are actually some excellent authors on Seeking Alpha (for example Chris Ciovacco, Taylor Dart), but unfortunately, you have to wade through many more snake oil salesman, fear mongers, and just plain incompetent hacks to find them. There is no vetting of authors, so every wannabe "analyst" posts there, and some of them even charge people money to read their garbage analysis. I had one author tell me that fact-checking was too much trouble and would inhibit his productivity LOL. The comments sections are filled with misinformation spread by short-term traders trying to manipulate the gullible investors who also post there. I could live with all of this, I understand it's the internet, but for the incredible hypocrisy of the moderators, who are dumb as a box of rocks. If you dare call somebody a liar or a BS artist and someone complains they will delete your comment and filter all future comments. Thereafter if you try to say anything that sounds even remotely sarcastic, confrontational, or critical of the moderators, your comment will never appear. Dupe gullible investors by spreading misinformation and lies? THAT'S A OK. Call out someone for said behavior? Comment deleted for personal attack/harsh language, and now they will closely monitor your posts, and if in their infinite wisdom they decide that your post doesn't add value then it simply won't appear. Oh and even if it does appear it will often be hours after you submitted the post. Meanwhile some of their popular authors regularly post childish responses to comments and they aren't monitored at all. BTW, if you email the mods to ask why a certain post is not allowed they will simply ignore you. That's right, the site provides an email address to query the moderators, but it is completely useless since they won't respond to it. See also john W.'s review below, he is right on the money.

I have been on SA for over 5 years & can tell you it's a scam site. The "moderators " as well as Editors write "news" articles daily to sway stocks their way. Most of the authors IMO are not only paid by SA, but no doubt are being paid from outside brokerage houses as well to try to sway the stocks in their favor either pro or con.
The site allows any Joe Blow to be a member without any kind of bio or way to show they are a real person. So many new no bio trolls appear & throw out one liners to try to control the threads. They can have your post tossed at will. Also the moderators will ban you if you don't follow their thinking. SA no doubt has trolls patrolling articles that could have some members banned for not agreeing to their thinking. I have complained countless times about their site being totally biased. They could care less. The moderators are totally biased and definitely have their select authors.
I was very vocal about the stock SDRL, & was constantly ridiculed by no bio trolls with the names of Million$man, Elvis Level, A Prudent Investor, Sallie DD, and even their prized "author" Stobe Fox Capital berating my posts. Actually Stone Fox Capital woukd write an article & then use an assortment of false alias names to respond to members on his article. He even slipped once & admitted that I was indeed actually talking to him through his made up alias. Then SFC started to hound me on all of my other stocks I follow & started to have ny posts pulled on those other stock articles.
SA should be banned from operating as a business on the internet, but lax laws pertain to stock sites. DO yourself a favor and remember anytime you get "free advice" over the internet to take it with a grain of salt.
SEEKING ALPHA is a totally biased stock website out to control stocks any way they can. Do your own due diligence & trust your gut feelings when buying or selling stocks. Nobody will look after your money interests better than you. The internet is stock full of scammers.

Not every article that Seeking Alpha publishes is awful, but the majority of them are. Very many of the articles are written by college students, and this shows in the sophomoric style of writing, which resembles verbiage tossed together for a term paper due the day after a frat party. The ideas expounded in these articles are usually as uninformed as the writing style is sophomoric. The authors usually have no clue what they are talking about. Of the remaining articles, most all of them are written by people who have a position in the stock, or often a short position, and are writing an article that strives the manipulate the stock to benefit their position. This is manifest in the articles, and the arguments they present are usually risible. Very few of the articles they publish are worth reading; the majority of the exceptions are articles that were originally published elsewhere and that Seeking Alpha has added to their site. My real concern with Seeking Alpha is the possibility that the editors and owners are selective with the articles that they publish, to benefit the position that they personally own in the stock. This is a loophole of sorts in the SEC guidelines. People who advocate a stock, or who speak negatively of a stock, are required to disclose the position that they hold. But the rules are ambiguous with respect to the owners of a web site such as Seeking Alpha. I am convinced that Seeking Alpha was created primarily to take advantage of this loophole, so that the owners of the site would be able to manipulate individual stocks and get wealthy while doing so, all without breaking any laws. It is inherently difficult for legislation to prevent this kind of thing, and the owners are well aware of this and are taking advantage of it the fullest. The bottom line is that virtually nothing that you read there should be believed.
Hi Tom,
Thanks for your note and apologies for it took us this long to reach back.
We strive to ensure all our articles are factually correct but we do not keep any biases towards anybody's opinion. Authors are allowed to publish bullish/bearish articles on stocks that are long/short (respectively), providing they disclose their bias. Active investors with "skin in the game" often have some of the most articulate opinions on a stock, and we encourage them to publish their opinions on Seeking Alpha.
If you find a Seeking Alpha article containing a material factual inaccuracy, you can dispute it using the following steps:
Submit a dispute by emailing disputes@seekingalpha.com. Please be sure to include a link to the article under dispute in addition to the above information.
Identify precisely which section of the article you dispute (quoting the text), and provide supporting evidence of your claim that the article is materially wrong.
(Please do not use the dispute process to disagree with the author. Everyone is entitled to his or her opinion about a stock; that's what makes a market.)
In any case, please always feel free to write to us at subscriptions@seekingalpha.com

Answer: There was only one question in the are of your question: it was do they work in eastern time zone? I'm in the Central time zone and all times reflect my time. Although I didn't see any option to change to Eastern time. If I had to guess, I would think it could set local to members because they got everything else so right.
