Though it is only offered in a few towns, this site is great! Assuming more than 20 people buy the deal, it becomes valid! Some deals are great while others are so-so. They usually have a different one each day so check back often!
I tried to purchase 2 gift cards from them and never received them, they were happy to take my $ but not get me the cards. Company even called the post office to confirm they saw the cards claiming I did get them. After many failed attempts and Zero help from the company I finally got a refund 6 months later. They are a joke and don't care I would t give them your money

Long story short! I bought a deal good 'til 2014. Restaurant went out of business. I wanted a refund... STD will not refund purchase price. Andrew Hamilton, customer service manager made it very clear that he had no desire to help resolve the problem. Andrew Hamilton chose to be disrespectful and disinterested... I will not forget his arrogance.
There are competitors of Seize the Deal that treat their customers with respect and refund money when the consumer is not at fault. You have a choice in choosing which companies to spend your money with. You should also know STD has several complaints at the BBB in Texas where they are located.
Beware of what you buy and make sure you read the refund policy. We purchase a deal in July. We went to use the deal (Feb) and the business was closed. When I contacted Seize the deal I was told it was past the refund time limit. No you tell me who got the money? I am glad I only lost 7.50. I see a "deal" on their page today for 800. WOW that would have been BAD!. Beware Beware Beware
Basically this, STD was purchased on 12-02-2022, was given as a Christmas gift, didn't see the 12-31-2022 expiration, guess that's my problem
I understand why this business's initials areS.T.D.
Tip for consumers:
It was only good for 30 days
Products used:
None
Same thing happened to me today... I bought a pre-paid certificate for Eternal Salon in Billings Montana & it went out of business & the business owner Ashlie Benson Winter (she is on FB) will not respond to me & now I cannot get a refund from her or from Seize the Deal! SO ETHICALLY WRONG! This is considered stealing in most people's eyes! And the certificate says "No Expiration Date"... this is SOOOO misleading! I just want to warn other hard working customers about my frustrating situation with Seize the Deal / Seize the Deal Billings! Again, buyers beware... what poor customer service by Seize the Deal! My last Seize the Deal has been bought for sure!
Their refund policy is unfair and archaic. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE before submitting the purchase button. If the vendor goes out of business, you will end up with an expensive, albeit unexpired, and completely worthless voucher! ONLY PURCHASE if you are a certified mind reader.
Site draws you in with superb fake deal of the day in your city so you can sign up but does not have any ligit deals on site. Deal will come by way of email along with the rest of the spam. You will also have to leave your CCard info with them to snap up the deals. The site is very user unfriendly (you have to use the signup button to get to a signin link to get to your account.). No info on unsubscribing, you have to email support. Finally, When i called number on contact page to find out about unsubscribing i was told that seize-the-deal wasn't in St. Louis yet even though site implied otherwise. On top of everything else i found out the superb fake deal of the day wasn't even around St. Louis, it was from a fake busines in a Elizabethtown, KY. 300 hundred miles from St. Louis where it was promoted.
Purchased certificate and participating company went out of business. Seize the deal won't refund my money! SCAM!
This site is the worst run away as fast as you can! I purchased one of their so called deals for a measely $5.00 and was supposed to receive a foldable waterbottle. I never received the water bottle after using the voucher on the vendors website. I then sent them an email asking when I could expect to receive it to which I never received any response. I then sent a second email and was met with the same response NONE! I then sent an email to seize the deal and received no response from them either. I finally did a dispute through paypal and you know what they wouldn't respond to them either. I attempted a final email to both the vendor east 2 west as well as seize the deal. Neither have ever responded to me. Paypal stated they couldn't get a response so I escalatd to a full complaint and they told Paypal all I paid for was shipping but no item. Then what the heck were they shipping... duh. I attempted a call to this scam site seize the dael and all they could say was leave a message. They are the worst along with their vendors. So I say to all stay away run as fast as you can.
Scam. They took my money, didn't provide a service, and won't give my money back.
Seize the Deal offers one incredible deal every day from cool restaurants, bars, spas, services, merchandise and more in your area!
