The first time I contacted Sephora - I loved it. I was treated like royalty. I was truly amazed. Then for the next time, Sephora and was treated like crap. No representatives acknowledge me or anything. Their responses were a bit harsh. I left feeling like crap.

I've been a royal customer of Sephora, almost VIB Rogue status. However, Sephora barely fulfills what it promises. I've purchased Flash 2 Days for almost 2 years, and barely any orders are delivered in 2 days (something that Amazon prime never fails to do). Recently I purchased an order using Flash 2 Days and the items were lost. No email to notify me about this. I realized it about 1 week later and tried to contact them. The "Beauty Advisor" promised that he would ship me new items and gave me extra points. None of it happened. Instead, Sephora tried to charge me again and the authorization was not successful. I contacted the "Beauty Advisor" again, but she did not understand the situation and told me to contact my bank. The order became pending again. So after 2 weeks of waiting, the products that are supposed to arrive in 2 days are still not here. Great!

This company is over. I have over 500 pts and I don't care. I ordered some things and they lost them and received them back. It took me over two months to get my money back and not the way I paid. Wanted me to take a store credit but since I won't shop with them, it took two months but I finally got my money back. My time is lost but at least I finally got the money back

I am going to purchase products almost exclusively from Sephora. The products are amazing, ang most importantly, the shipment and delivery of products are super fast! I love that about them, and I will always be a faithful cusotmer! I hope that all businesses follow suit in having the same exceptional customer service and super fast delivery!

I was trying to order a lipstick for my bestfriend for her birthday and when I went to submit the order, the item was no longer in stock. No big deal. Then I looked at my bank statement and they charged me for it! Absolutely ridiculous. How are they going to charge me for something that they do not have in stock. I called and spoke with their customer service and they gave me no reasoning as to why this happened just said that the money would be put in my account the next day. I looked at my statement this morning, the charge is still there. I can't get past that they charged me for something that is out of stock. They also told me I would have to talk to my bank since sephora already released the charges but I called my bank this morning and they said that there was nothing they could do until sephora released it. I usually enjoy shopping at sephora but this will be the last time I order anything from them.

I complained to a Customer Service rep. About an employer and got no results. It was at Burlington Mall. He was a make-up expert which he wasn't. He was yelling at me what I wanted and I told him make-up, he said I don't understand. He picked out an awful shade for me and was abusive and very loud as people were looking at him. Yes I should have said I wanted someone else BUT people should know. I assume he still works there so be aware hopefully you won't get him...

I decided to purchase their protini polypeptide cream since I have rough and dry skin and it amazingly it works like magic! After one week using the product my skin is now softer and I noticed that it is becoming lighter too.

So I bought one matte lipshade and one cleanser from Sephora online store. They charged me around $90 on the day and after I got the product, they charged me again around $80. When I got my bank statement, it clearly says it's Sephora. I claimed to the store and they keep asking me to make a call. I did that too. Every time I call, someone take the call say hello and say sorry there is a problem bla bla bla. Have a nice day. What the hell is that? Being one of the most famous international store how they do this kind of things? Should I understand that a matte lipstick and a cleanser cost me $170?
Never ever gonna use Sephora anymore!

I bought Don't Blow It and paid almost $34. This was to be all you need for your hair. I've been trying it and today when I woke my hair looked like I had been out in the humidity all day long and I had been in an air conditioned house. I took back today and they refused to return my hard earned money. I was told the bottom of the bottle satisfaction guarantee is no longer honored at Sephora. What a waste of money.
Will not be going back as I don't want to buy something and not be able to return it if it doesn't hold to it promise of what it supposed to do.

Terrible service, out of 3 orders, 80 % of items did not arrive, those that arrived - was expired.
Customers service sucks, long wait time. Agents Anabell and Kristen, not friendly and not helpful. Emails are not being answered. During 2 weeks! Need to spent so Much time, during business hours :(. avoid Sepora, shopp somewhere else.

There employees promote Sephora's return policy on everything you purchase saying " you can return it if you try it and don't like it" and then Sephora blaklists you and doesn't let you return anything anymore and the employees are beyond rude to you when telling you your return was declined. Don't have your employees promote something you can't come though on. Will never shop here again.

I ordered the Sauvage Parfum and specifically asked the rep several times to ensure that they don't send the eau de parfum. Surprise, they sent the eau de parfum. Then the customer service rep write an email saying that they selected the eau de parfum because it best matched my request for the parfum. So, I sent them a pic from their own website and then another rep writes back that I am correct and they made a mistake. However, the parfum is more expensive so I have to pay the difference. Now, I am stuck schlepping their eau de parfum to a store defeating the very purpose of ordering by phone. This is the very definition of bait and switch. Be careful what they send you.

I am a VIB and spend ALOT of money here. I paid for 2 day flash shipping and have had orders take 5 days which is normal and acceptable for them(acorrding to customer service) also have had order get randomly cancelled so I reordered. Then automatically reordered 10 + days later and was charged twice and had to take it back. I've also had issues with them giving me points for certain purchases. Don't waste your time here.

I ordered an ecard for a friend of mine for $200 they took the money which build my credit card and everything sent me the confirmations and in a few minutes later they sent me an email telling me they could not process it and I would be refunded in 3 to 7 business days which kind of messed me up because she needed this and it was supposed to be a Christmas gift and they would not fix it they would not let me take that money that they took and load it to a different card they would not do anything they were rude and did not even attempt to solve my problem

I've gone to 2 Sephoras and found the staff either very unconcerned about their clients or downright demeaning to their clients. In the Queensbury, NY store I actually observed a dumpy brunette sales staff and a taller one with long hair and a big bulging forehead making fun of a client right after she left the store. Real classy. Lord only knows what they said about me when I left the store empty handed. Who would want to purchase anything in a store with people like that working there? I wouldn't and I didn't. Only one person was nice there and that was the manager, a beautiful girl. But she was busy with the store and had someone assist me.

These people are horrible do not shop here. I do not say this lightly. I had an issue with 2 items missing from my order. I had 4 long horrible chat sessions and one horrible email from these people and still they refuse to give me my items. The items are on my receipt, I have proof. The items are not on the receipt that came in the package. They do not care. They informed me that i received points, which i never agreed to, as compensation. But these are no good to me as i will never be shopping here again. Was told that since i received store credit for some mascara in a previous issue (one that had absolutley nothing to do with this issue) that i could not receive my missing items. What?!?!?!?

I'm a VIB and I have ordered about 7x this month and 5 out of those 7 times, I didn't get the samples I picked out from the site. Why bother contemplating on which one to pick when they just end up throwing in random stuff you don't want anyway. And worse, I redeemed an item TWICE and they didn't include it in BOTH orders! They just deducted it from my points and didn't even care to tell me it was out of stock. Seriously. Still waiting for a reward refund if I ever will get one.

I love buying on Sephora. You get 3 free samples every purchase you make and you don't have to go through the hassle of going to sephora itself.
Their return policy is super easy to use as well! When you get your item in the mail, you get an invoice, and if you want to return it, just write down the item number and explain the reason why. (You don't like it, wrong color, wrong size, etc)
One case in point: I ordered a benefit to go beauty bestsellers and when I opened it up, the some kinda gorgeous was missing! I called customer service and she apologized, asked for my order number and said a new one would be sent within a few days FREE OF CHARGE!. I even got to keep the one the original as an apology! So I got an extra posietint, highbeam, and that gal just because one thing was missing. =]
Would buy again. Love it. Same service in store as website. Very happy.^__^

I bought 2 shadow palette to this company it took like a week to send me to say that one of the pallets was not available and they were going to send me the other one they had immediately told them to cancel it because I did not want anything From this people they still have the palette of shadows available they are irresponsible I do not go back to buy anything from them.

I ordered a coco mademoiselle perfume by Chanel and i got an email saying it was cancelled and so i called customer service (U. S) and they said that they cancelled it because they couldn't confirm it was me since my billing address and shipping address was different. I confirmed it was me and they re-ordered it for me with 2 Day shipping completely free!
I got my package a few days later and it arrived tampered. It was missing my items as well as my samples, the box was ripped and i literally cried. I emailed customer service with photos and they responded to me so fast! They apologized and offered me a refund or replacement! I love their customer service and i will forever continue to shop here.
