This is a decent place to buy anything you need for beauty, including skincare, makeup and hair care plus tools. They do always have the latest of everything as far as the top name brands. Ebates gives cash back and you can always use their on site coupon codes to get samples of the latest and greatest of anything you want to try. My only complaint is that sometimes they supplement the samples with things that are totally not relevant (such as men's cologne to a woman or a co-wash product to someone who cannot use that type of thing.) Also, sales are very infrequent and not really worth it. I could receive higher cash back from the brand's main site plus a nicer promo coupon most of the time. Sephora does have their Play box which is awesome and it's totally worth it. That's happiness in a box every month for me. However, buying makeup here doesn't save much money even though their points system is nice for sampling. I'm a member of their Flash shipping which is $15/year however the minimum is $20 or $25 to get a sample of anything with it, so it's almost a moot point to sign up for.

I absolutely LOVE sephora. I spend so much time in there when I go to the mall. Most of sephora's own products are actually close dupes for more expensive brands.

I love so many products from Sephora. They can be pricey, but the quality is worth it for most everything. And you get free birthday samples, which I love.

Sephora has a great website that's intuitive and makes it easy to find what you want. They have rewards for various levels of customer and a really liberal return policy on products. They offer a lot more online than in stores near me, but not surprising given the extensive inventory online. The in-store displays are great because they have samples of every single product so you can do swatch tests and often times will help you select products but are not overly pushy in assisting you if you're just browsing. One of my favorite parts of the website, aside from the ease of finding what you're looking for, is the reviews. You can see an overall star rating for products and read detailed reviews and a feature to see only reviews by people who have stated they have the same skin/hair/etc. That you do. I've never had an issue with slow delivery times, damaged products or sending the wrong items. Prices are on par with similar retailers, but they do have a sale annually I believe in November and April (but could be off on the timing).

I've ordered cosmetics in total 230$ cost but I've got only a lot of samples in the box (around 40 samples)!
I've contacted Sephora support 6 times already by mail and by phone about getting wrong package instead of my order and asking for refund.
By Mail they only answering that I need to call support.
By Phone - they said that I have to wait 8 days and they will decide if they can process refund. However its already 20th day but there is no any refund.
When I tried to contact support again, they just answered me that I need to call and start the process again...

I returned products on 7/14/23. It is now 9/10/23. I am hoping this nightmare is coming to an end. I returned products and was still told I owed money even though I had no products since they were returned. They say they can not see purchases made in store when you call the Sephora line for help the 866 number. Some how they email you to ask you to review it online, but they have no record? The store manager did let me take a picture of the computer screen bc she new I was having issues with their awful company. They turned me into the credit bureau even though I received a letter saying not to pay my bill due to a pending dispute. They then turned me into the credit bureau's. My credit score dropped over a hundred points. I called Comenity bank of Sephora. Ha, they owe me money! Oh, but my credit will be effected for 45 days because they can not remove it. It should have never been reported according to their letter telling me NOT TO PAY IT. Of course they are all so sorry. You would think they could see that as a long time customer that I ALWAYS paid my bill in full on time. Lesson learned. You could not pay me to step foot in that place. My credit score is messed up bc THEY OWE ME MONEY. Horrible customer service. I spent around 2-3 hours a week for almost two months and it's still not over. I would think twice before shopping here. I also saw there are many other people this has happened to as well. I finally got the Better Business Bureau involved. I don't care if they are giving stuff away, I will not go near this scandalous place. I will hopefully get my check for the money they owe me and since they messed with my credit and my time I will let people know what can possibly happen to them. I would advise to purchase at another store and if you shop here pay attention to your account.

I absolutely love shopping through the web site. The selection is great, much better than going into the store. Sales are really good, and if I can't find what I'm looking for sale wide I use one of the coupon sites to save. I've been using Sephora for many years, and I've never been disappointed in the products. However, sometimes I go into the actual storefront if I wanna be sure about the colors of something, especially a foundation. My shin tone is fair, but I have tons of freckles and I don't wanna order something too dark for my tone. I agree with a lot of the reviewers about the rudeness of employees. A lot of them are awful. But I know enough about what I'm looking for so I usually shoo them away. The products range from pretty affordable ( Sephora brand) to very high end (around a hundred bucks for a palette). For most customers shopping is free after $50. That's easy to spend at Sephora. My biggest issue is that they don't offer more affordable brands. I will choose Ulta over Sephora for this very issue. Sephora also has great sales around the holidays, which makes my shopping easy. I have only had to contact Customer service once or twice and those calls were about gift cards that I tried to redeem. I will continue to use Sephora online happily, but I do avoid the storefront if possible.

I ordered on line few days ago, not knowing the transaction has been cancelled. And here I am waiting for the package. I only found out when I went back on their site that the order has been cancelled without giving me any reason. DO NOT SHOP HERE. IT IS DANGEROUS! I am so upset. I ordered a simple lipstick from sephora.com. Instead, they sent my personal phone number and home address to a complete stranger who now wants to come to my house to retrieve what she is calling her items. This person is saying I have her package. I do not know who this person is. I do not know how she got my home address and phone number. I do not know if these items are hers. I called to complain and asked for a supervisor. Melissa, refused to initiate an investigation. And, proceeded to tell me that Sephora did not send my information to anyone. When I asked how this person got my number and address, she talked over me again. When I asked for her supervisor's name and a call back, she told me she would put through a call back form but could not guarantee when or if someone would call me back. She made no attempt to rectify the situation and then kept saying she provided me what I asked. Now, a stranger is threatening to come to my home and harass me for mystery items. Melissa told me I could block this person and call the authorities. She thinks this is okay. She talked over me and was disgusting. I have shopped at Sephora for many years and now they have lost a customer. DO NOT SHOP HERE. Your privacy is not yours. They will give your personal information to anyone.

Their online delivery and order service is the most awful that I have ever seen.
I ordered a shiseido ibuki cream and after 3 days waiting I realized that my package has been returned because of incorrect info.
When I asked them to resend me the package with correct adress thay told me that my order is out of stock and they have to refund.
After 3 days!
I will never order online from sephora and i will try to buy directly from Shiseido.

Sephora caused an online debacle so huge that sent fans snapping pictures of their online purchases for return and sharing them on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and swearing to boycott Sephora for alternative online beauty stores such as Ulta.com and Nordstrom.
Basically the French online and retail beauty giant duped swarms of customers into spending loads of money thinking they could redeem their points spent for merchandise.
On the day of redemption, Aug 10, a small handful of merchandise was released and sold out in mere seconds causing anger and outrage throughout the online beauty sphere.
Sephora who had deceptively marketed what was a sweepstake into a redemption programme has remained mum about the situation and even deleted all Epic Rewards posts on their Facebook page.
All communications from 1 to 13 August 2015 have essentially been deleted from Sephora's facebook page. Poor social media and marketing management indeed, Sephora.
Whenever there is any possible choice to purchase a beauty item elsewhere either directly from the manufacturer or another retailer, I would religiously do so.

Don't get me wrong live the website and there products. HOWEVER I recently made a purchase online. MY adress was a little off so they said they had cancelled mynorder butnit still took the money off my card. And i have to wait 7-10 business days for my money back. They said i could replace the order and spend another 100 something dollars until i got rhe other one back. Which in my mind is BS and ridiculous. I needed the makeup for my moms wedding it was all the money i had put aside for it. Im not rich enough just to make another order it took a while for me to choose them and get the money together and i thought it woukd come right in time for my moms wedding

First of all I got my order very late then Sephora brand eye liner foundation and eye shadow were old have a particular Odor so I call the company I also email them few times and nothing happened Im still waiting for there call back but at this point I don't care just simple never again the sad part is I made this order with an anniversary gift card (waste)
