During my recent stay at this hotel in Hawaii, a pair of shoes was stolen from inside my room. I suspect the cleaning staff, and when I reported the incident, the management initially assured me they would investigate. However, after two weeks, I received an email stating they trust their staff and would not take any action.
While I understand the importance of trusting employees, as a guest, I felt dismissed and unsupported. This experience left me feeling unsafe, knowing that items could be taken from a secured room with no accountability.
I regret not filing a police report, thinking at the time it wasn't necessary, but this situation deserved it. Guests should be aware of this risk and take precautions. If you're considering staying here, please be mindful of your belongings.
Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel due to its lack of resolution and guest safety measures.
