First time using a freight forwarder to ship a package from US to Australia. The website was relatively easy to use, I could track my package and make payment with no fuss as the website was user friendly. They were very quick to ship out my package after I made payment for shipping on the same day it arrived. Was a bit hesitant at first due to reviews I read online but in my experience, they have been excellent and am glad to go with them over the other competitors. Rates were also good as I expected double of what I had to pay in the end.
I've used many international shipping companies in my time and this has to be the worst I have dealt with. The website is terrible and confusing to use and the hidden costs are ridiculous they will force your parcel storage time to laps and keep your parcel
This is the worst ever shipping company my account was put underreview and they keep asking unnecessary documentation after receiving my money for shipping and packages has not been shipped
I've been using Shipito for a while, and have stored there approximately 100 items. All items I have sent arrived in very good conditions. It is a reliable service, and very easy to manage.
I am one month hoping to find a package that had a duplicate label and they do not return the money, do not solve the problem, just stand waiting while I have financial loss

I have been happily using Shipito for the last 6 years. However, since the company changed hands, I no longer have confidence in their staff. The people I used to deal with are gone... that should tell you something. Two photos are included for each shipment and I used to rely on these to read the return address, as I had several packages coming in at once. Now, the photos are blurry and the addresses cannot be read, or the photos are of the back of the package that has no info or I receive a photo of the conveyor belt with no package. The photo I received today was aimed down the line at the wall so that I had a view of a very messy warehouse. It's like the staff are all half asleep, hungover, on drugs or just don't give a damn. Their answers to emails are very unsatisfactory and patronizing. Asking for new photos (i. E. Reporting a "mistake") delays the shipment by 1 to 2 days. I have complained about the photos so many times that I have given up. They have also reported weights that were higher that actual so watch them on that. It's happened several times so that I started to suspect that someone was jacking them up to pocket the difference. I would look elsewhere unless something drastic happens to smarten them up.
I don't usually write reviews but felt I should share my experience with Shipito. I had a package delivered to them. When it came to shipping it to me they charged and shipped damaged tableware to me. They only provided photos after the shipment was sent so I could not flag it. I was charged not only for shipment but opted for insurance and extra packaging for goods that were clearly smashed and damaged. When I contacted their chat team they said they noted the claim and a supervisor would contact me within 24 hours. 48 hours later no word. I contacted them again to be told the same thing and was met with a rude and indifferent representative. I got the same line about supervisors but because it was Friday that it would probably be next week before I heard from them. Nothing on Monday so contacted again. I was told by another representative that I had to fill in a form and I had to contact a supervisor. I've still have not received any help or support from them. They claim that they received the goods in poor condition despite having first told me they were received in good order. I will in no way shape or form return to them for business. I've wasted over $100 and countless hours trying to seek support from them. Avoid this company at all cost and use another shipping company.
I has never received my package sent by Shipito. USPS as a carrier insists that they never received the parcel from Shipito. Sad. Would not recommend.
Hello Sana M. USPS does not have the best tracking. When did you ship the package? Could you let me know the tracking number for the USPS shipment so I can look further into this issue.
DO NOT rely on Shipto for your goods or money!
My shipment, which was delivered with proof of delivery from Fedex, is now after 6 days not found at Shipto! The customer service is not answering anymore and and I'm left without my paid goods beeing somewhere in their warehouse.
If things are already going so badly within the US warehouse, I can hardly expect that the ordered goods will ever find their way to Germany.
Because of my very bad experiences I strongly advise against using Shipto and recommend to look for other services, such as Borderlinx (http://www.borderlinx.com/)

They float dangerously close to the standards for mail fraud and wire fraud ----- in making revenue on the basis of attrition for those who do not engage their verification process which involves a US notarization to parties overseas--- essentially a US consulate visit.
They violate their 30 day refund policy. They hide the verification standard in the terms and conditions and conveniently leave it out of the bulk of the site.
It's only a matter of time before they are shut down by the CA Attorney General or other agency. Its a schema to profit when you walk away. If they desired to be legitimate and clean, they would honor refund requests. They chose to take the money and ultimately they'll face civil and criminal consequences of this.
They prey on the fact that foreign customers won't know which US agencies to use to effectuate regulatory invention and that few if any will commence an actions from overseas for such small dollar amounts.
This is a clear public interest situation where the the CA AG or US Attorney could help their political aspirations through some nice publicity.
Also having a local news affiliate knock on the door will help raise awareness.
I use Shipito to buy online and then consolidate and ship to KSA. They provide great and swift service. I havent compared them with Stackry or MyUS.com. I think all 3 are good.
I am a new customer, but I am very satisfied with this experience of having this help in sending my purchases outside of my country.

Shipito lost my Amazon delivery and told me, since it's insured, I'll get a refund. This was almost 2 months ago. After a couple of weeks I started asking where the refund is (we are talking about 70 dollars, the worth of the items was more then USD120, but they said I filled the customs paper wrong-ok). EVERY TIME I GET THE SAME ANSWER: "We are experiencing delays with payments, I will forward your inquiry". This is just ridicolous.
I checked again today, and the money is still not on my account!

I have been using Shipito for years, but I will never use them again! I bought Christmas presents in November and they were supposed to arrive at the latest 4th of December. But they did not... They weren't even sent. 20-30 mails and conversations with support all through December. But nothing. They couldn't find my package. The tracking information showed different things every day, weird location that didn't even exist. No help from support, only response was that they were looking into the matter. For weeks and weeks. Nothing. Then they said it was now a claim, and would refund the package that was in January, but they needed 30 working days to handle claim. More weeks went past. Nothing happened. I bought new items and had them shipped with a different company, and it took 4 (!) days until they delivered at my door.
Now suddenly, two and a half month after the package was supposed to be delivered it showed up today. Two and a half month late! Well, I am happy it showed up in the end, but I am NEVER going to use shipito again. Terrible service, horrible support, awful company. Stay away!
Shipito service suffered some problems in the past but I would say they managed to come back to the top.

I'm an old user, I've spent thousand of dollars with shipito and always was a happy client. But from a few months from now, they did EVERYTHING wrong:
-Packages were delivered and took DAYS to appear in my mail box
-Photos took WEEKS to be shot (I even had to CANCEL one of them after 2 weeks so I could move on and consolidate the package)
-The packages WON'T ship out EVER. I'm waiting for more than a month and NOTHING yet. I've missed christmas and the presents are there, in the warehouse. I had to talk in the chat 14 times now, more than 15 emails to the supervisor and NOTHING works.
I won't use shipito ever again. They have to see thye shouldn't TRASH their clients like they are doing to everyone. Such a shame.

One of my clients used shipito.com for several years, and paid for extra insurance on the packages. 2 packages never arrived (shipped May 2009) and shipito had the nerve to incorrectly quote Ukrainian law (the destination) to justify their denial of his insurance claim. The law states that you must have an import certificate for a cell phone if there are MORE THAN TWO in the package. The law also CLEARLY states that no import certificate is required for 2 or less phones in a package. There was one in each package. He's still fighting with them on these two claims.
In the mean time he had problems with two other shipments through shipito. One arrived with rocks in it, instead of a cell phone and the other arrived with a cheap plastic case for a cheap cell phone, instead of the expensive cell phone he bought. Needless to say, he's not using them anymore, and he's still fighting with them to settle the insurance claims. Seems to me their "insurance" may also be a scam. The phones were in the US and shipito shipped FROM the US. what do they care what Ukrainian law says. Seems like an excuse not to pay. My client is out $1,250 USD (Cost of good, shipping, insurance). EMS Ukraine, the local "agent" for shipito has advised my client they have had many of the same complaints from customers (almost 100) in the last couple of years.

My first time writing a wrong Disclaim of the package they stolen the parcel and try to refund me trough the custom declaration.
Ive to suit them to get my money back.

They are so #$@%... will rip you off like anything!
When you have not joined the site, they'll say calculate your shipping cost. Lets say you calculate for 5 kg... then you'll be so happy to see something like 50$ will be charged!
So you sign up for virtual mailbox, buy your 5 kg, and then choose shipping cost...
You'll be shocked out of your mind that the same 5 kg now cost 200$ for shipping!
And then the consolidation charges... the handling charges... blah blah...
Just charges to rip you off some more!

I have 150$ worth goods in shipito website and they are asking 200$ to ship it!
The weight is around 4-5 kg.
Once i get this package, i am never going back! So so so many hidden charges... it'll charm you to beleive that its very cheap, when actually its too expensive!
The other service i tried was shop and ship. Much better prices that shipito!
Although no consolidation is offered by them.
Now i am going to try comgateway.
But out of shipito and shop and ship, shipito is worse!
It is much more costly, too many hidden expenses and customer support is very very lazy.
But it is the unreasonable price that bugs me the most!

This is my first time using shipito. They are currently holding two of my packages as hostages.
First they misplaced one of my package. I emailed them, they found it and the same was showing in my account... BUT what I see are additional "special charges" slapped on to it. Photos $2, customs declaration $5 plus is would have to pay extra charges which they have declared beforehand which are $2 per package, $3 for consolidation and $10 monthly membership fee if you want the option of package consolidation.
Now my i don't know why my account is under review. They want me to fill two identification form for different name? And submit invoices of my purchase. Wtf! P.s. One of them being a nickname. How on earth would I submit documents for a nickname! It was only my account name... Wtf!
I cannot submit the required documents for a nickname and so I think I'll have to give up on my package? I bought those with my hard earned money you $#*!s! Not by just thugging people thousands of miles away.
But what I am is persistent. I'll be posting this review in every platform that would be available to me.
All accounts go into security review when package names do not match. Its easy to solve. If the packages are yours just submit the ID's that match those packages.
