First time using a freight forwarder to ship a package from US to Australia. The website was relatively easy to use, I could track my package and make payment with no fuss as the website was user friendly. They were very quick to ship out my package after I made payment for shipping on the same day it arrived. Was a bit hesitant at first due to reviews I read online but in my experience, they have been excellent and am glad to go with them over the other competitors. Rates were also good as I expected double of what I had to pay in the end.

I've used many international shipping companies in my time and this has to be the worst I have dealt with. The website is terrible and confusing to use and the hidden costs are ridiculous they will force your parcel storage time to laps and keep your parcel

I'm a new customer of Shipito since beginning of June-2021. One package made it so far into my suite but another package got lost even if Tracking ID show's it got delivered. I contacted their support and opened support tickets but since they confirmed that the package is lost nothing else happened. They're just always telling it's with their claim department but this seems to be their black hole.
Poor Service!

Tip for consumers:
Avoid using Shipito if you like your money and don't want to waste it!

I was about using the package forwarding service from USA to Germany. But after my package from Walmart got lost at Shipito warehouse I got no refund even if I could proof the successful delivery of the package from Walmart.

I submitted a shipment request on 1/14. Shipito confirmed via their website and an email that the item would ship shortly. They then waited to ship the item until after my storage had expired, then waited 10 days to notify me of the delay, then attempted to extort another $20 for storage fees. I really wish I'd read more reviews about this company before working with them.

Very bad experience with their services. They would cancel your ship out request without notifying you, then charge you extended storage fee, and push the responsibility to you for not checking in to see if the shipment has been successfully sent out, as you should not trust them.

Tip for consumers:
Choose other company. There are so many other better ones

Although their terms and conditions specify that it takes them up to two working days for a shipment to be received in their system, after more than four days (of which one is a Saturday), my USPS tracked shipment still was not detected by their system. When contacting their customer support, I was only asked to wait patiently. No apologies. I still hope this is fraud, and even it is not, then their customer treatment is very far from good.

I've been with them for many many years, i have spent tens and tens of thousands of dollars with them.

They used to be convenient, reasonably quick and easy to work with.

Last 6 months not so much:
- Items get stolen. Customer support threatens to charge me 250$ for complaining about it
- Packages are extremely poorly packaged, damaged items (no compensation), and sometimes they simply will not consolidate stuff even if it fits causing hundreds of $ cost for item which should have been consolidated
- Constant system bugs as they "make it better", too numerous usability issues now to even count them all... Using shipito is... like tar these days
- Benefits keeps being removed from old time customers
- No more TNT MPS option at all (used to be far most economic)

Do not sign up. If you do, you will be charged monthly fees almost daily. Shipito billed me three payments same day and attempt to pull payments out of my credit card. I called my bank and reported my card as lost before they took the payments. The lowest scumbag on earth. Took me over a week to fight to remove all those payments. They don't respond to phone calls, emails, their useless ticketing systems. Off shore chat agents will lie to your face. Eventually I noticed my payments cancelled without any response what's so ever. Its hard to believe how much sitejabber getting paid by Shipito to keep sky high positive rating while all OP's here nothing good to say about them.

Do not signup. Stay away from Shipito. It's a Scam!

Started out nicely several years ago but service has been degrading consistently. Letters are rarely being scanned without repeated prodding (used to be auto-scanned on arrival), prohibited items list monstrous (they claim the carriers dictate this but the carriers' own prohibited list is MUCH shorter) so they may reject your mailout at a whim and force you to return the item to seller (if you're lucky enough to be eligible for a return), "forgetting" to refund you when they cancel an assisted purchase (still waiting for over $200,1.5 months and counting). Sales reps flat out decline any and all requests and won't let you speak to a manager. This will disappoint even the cynics.

I would give them 0 stars if I could. I allegedly had a package shipped to Australia from my Shipito account which somehow managed to turn back up in my account which was returned by the carrier. There are no postage stamps on the package and only my name blacked out in black pen. When I tried to get answers they always advise to submit a support ticket which never gets you anywhere. They are now demanding further payment for my goods to be shipped. I have already paid once and won't do it again! The carrier has no record of this shipment. Has anyone thought of all of us taking class action against this company? They continue to steal people's goods and scam people into using them time and time again.

What a joke. They ask for 2 forms of ID and statements to prove you paid for the item just to return the items. Never seen a freight forwarder make things so difficult. They also charge excessive amount for even the littlest things, an average of $26+ and they only use UPS. They definitely charge more and most likely profit because UPS labels for 1 lb cost $12, not $26. Nice try. I recommend using different freight forwarders in the tax free region, such as Reship. They never make you go through ID verification for a petty return. This is not some bs review, trust me you will save more money and headaches going with different freight forwarders. I wouldn't be writing this for no reason, i wish this company goes bankrupt. Cunning individuals taking advantage of their excessive shipping costs.

Be aware of hidden fees. I did the mistake to trust Shipito.com and I ended up paying $ 19.30 for a 1.00 lbs (0.45 kg) 10"×7"×2" (25×18×4 cm) package shipped in the US. All this after an endless exchange of emails because their website did not worked properly. The customer assistance is very poor too.
A friendly advice: DO NOT USE shipito.com

Received open items. Was told due to shipito inspection prior to shipping. Some leaked and i did not get any claim over it, lost over 150 USD. Lesson learned and currently looking for a different forwarding company

Shipito ripped-me-off! They've charged me for goods plus delivery and taxes but to date (7 weeks) still have not delivered or refunded me. Their staff are the worst I have ever come across. Steer clear of Shipito.

I've been with Shipito for a couple of years now. They used to be quite reliable, and it still is quite a user-friendly service. Nevertheless, their services have really gone to the dogs. Each delivery from them had been getting progressively more complicated and costly. I now get the sense that they hide information about how much things will actually cost - beware! I've completely lost my trust in their services and will close my account soon. There are far better options out there to have packages forwarded to you.

We do add in new benefits from time to time, but that really should not complicate anything. As for our prices, they are shown in detail in your account. Woeful customer service. Shipito informed me a couple of soft childrens toys I was forwarding were 'allegedly' held up in Australian quarantine due to insufficient information. The processing fees for this were more than the parcel so I wanted to speak to Quarantine directly. Despite TNT being able to contact shipito over the matter (why not me? My address is on the parcel!), shipito were unable to provide me with a reference number for TNT or Quarantine because 'there isn't one'... i ask then how have TNT traced it back to shipito?!? Destruction was ordered BY shipito after a week even though TNT will hold for 60 days. I do wonder if Shipito lost the parcel then concocted this destroyed by quarantine story to avoid having to pay up for a lost package. So dodgy. Previously they were o. K., but their i. D requirements are ridiculous and are not required by the new (superior) service I use now.

Absolutely disgusting company, really hope karma comes back round to the company and there employees. Locked my account with £1200 worth of parcels. Took forever to reply to emails and awful customer service. Provided ID, bank statements and paypal requests and still decided to deactivate my account. Look at the reviews below to see awful the company is. If they have take them court and make sure these scammers don't get away with this type of fraud. Never trusting male forwarding services ever again. AVOID

I think they must have changed hands. I've used them for two and a half years for onward shipping purchases from ebay to the UK and always found them quick, efficient and very responsive and polite on the very rare occasion needed to contact them.
Sadly they have now changed their website and obviously haven't tested it as it's hopeless, they have put up their prices and you can now only get assistance via online chat where the representatives are seriously lacking in knowledge and treat experienced customers like imbeciles.
I've recommended them strongly in the past but not now. KEEP AWAY.

I have used Shipito since 2011. Their service has always been excellent, and has continually improved. Most recently, I shipped an item from their Californian warehouse to Sydney, Australia using their new "preferred carrier" service. The cost of shipping was good value, and the delivery time frame was very fast - the item arrived within 5 business days!

Their web portal is easy to use, payment process is efficient and tracking tool is transparent. The photographs they take of all parcels arriving in my virtual mailbox makes package-identification easy.

I am delighted with the Shipito service and highly recommend them to anyone that need to forward parcels from USA to Australia.

Shipito has the worst customer support you will ever experience. One month to reply to a support ticket, if they actually do reply. Service used to be good but it is a complete disgrace now. For being the most expensive freight forwarding company on the market you would expect a least a half decent service, but you won´t even get that. I did not receive my package. There was no attempt to deliver by the mail company. I went to the local post office branch and there was no record of my package ever being sent there. Now the package has been returned to Shipito and is seating there without any response from their customer support.

I used to order from ExPat.com since I live in Japan and some items just aren't available. 5 years ago Expat.com got out of the business and now I have to order from Amazon. Even then, Amazon won't ship certain items overseas, but Shipito does... and at a price, e.g. a 70% markup above the retail value. And they only use UPS for some items, so to deliver something about an ounce can cost $25!
I didn't quite understand the package split process in order to send to different addresses, and "Customer Service" was dismissive and I wound up having to pay extra storage time because of the delays. Shipito will ten and twenty dollar you to death--nickels and dimes are NOT enough!
I should have bought from Rakuten, Japan's answer to Amazon, and will do so in the future. I will NEVER use Shipito again. EVER!

I have been using shipito for more than a year. Recently I have found there were missing items from the last 4 packages I sent. Customer care are rude and they take forever to get back to me. I lost more than $600 valued stuff. In less than 2 months. I am definitely switching to another company. The funny thing is that I tried two different carriers through shipito Fedex and DHL but still things get missing and customer care gets mad at me instead of investigate and find out who takes my stuff. My recommendation is to stay away from them they are not professional and are giving me hard time to submit a claim.

Shipito fortunately uses good quality boxes, hard cardboard made. Employees don't compact boxes as much as we desired, so unnecessary free space is still seen, making boxes greater and pushing shipping methods to the more expensive ones. Also, Shipito rates raised! Shipping costs are still very high. I thought Shipito would be able to negotiate better shipping rates with carriers, due to its huge shipping volume, but customers don't seem to notice it after all.

I have spent over 2000. 00 shipping with them over the past year. Until September of 2016, they were responsive, quick and reliable. Sadly, I have given them "one more try" 4 times too many in the past month. They "chat" but make textbook responses and now take days just to get a package out to me. Now they promote a "preferred" shipper which is the WORST! Spend more and go elsewhere and get your packages overseas in 2 days. This company has obviously cut back in staff and quality of service. I will find another.
