First time using a freight forwarder to ship a package from US to Australia. The website was relatively easy to use, I could track my package and make payment with no fuss as the website was user friendly. They were very quick to ship out my package after I made payment for shipping on the same day it arrived. Was a bit hesitant at first due to reviews I read online but in my experience, they have been excellent and am glad to go with them over the other competitors. Rates were also good as I expected double of what I had to pay in the end.
I've used many international shipping companies in my time and this has to be the worst I have dealt with. The website is terrible and confusing to use and the hidden costs are ridiculous they will force your parcel storage time to laps and keep your parcel
Do not set up a mailbox with this company under ANY circumstances. They are a fraudulent scam company who are well known to US law enforcement. I was a very light user. Packages weighing under 200g sent to their mailbox are held hostage until the user pays 70USD upfront, they lie on the customs declarations regarding on the contents of the box,; a box weighing under 200g was listed at a value of 200USD - actual value 50USD - which resulted in a £70UK import charge and they refuse to post items which was cost less than 10 dollars unless you pay them £100. I have reported to both UK and US police forces and intend to take legal action against them.
They refuse to close down the mailbox and they refuse to delete personal information - including credit credits (which I cancelled) - but still have official ID, full names and addresses.
AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS
It should be rated with zero star as one star is too much for them. It is my first package and they already made me sick with their ( verification) system.

Shipped parts for a motor home. No issues. Package arrived quickly. Have used Shipito for a number of years and found them to be very reliable.

The complaints raised are 100% true. They stole my goods and not entered parcels into my account. I ve been a loyal customer, not any more.
The service is very good, although we always have something to comply, the prices are good, and fast, we have 4 different storages, 3 in USA and 1 in Europe, so i rate this 5 stars
I wish there is 0 star, they donot deserved even 1. This is a real scan and pain is $#*!. Site told you it is very simply sign up a account and have your thing forward. After sign, ask you ID, credit card personal information, seriously? R you out of you mind, I will send my personal information to you this small online business, put my credit card at risk, maybe one day someone spent my credit $******* and I didnot know how and who. So I ask refund, as the previous review, they have difficult process, non responded, I ask paypal to refund.
And unfortunately my purchase has shipped out and this business has my package, that is a nightmare. It endless pain harassment, complex process. I still havenot my package ship it out. They might keep the package and re-sell. Just simplr forward a package but they made it very stressful and complex. I pretty sure who rate 5 start, it is their staff rate for themself. This is a real $#*! site.

I am a resident in the United Kingdom emailing to contact you regarding a fraudulent theft by a mailing company called 'Shipito' which operates an international mail forwarding service.
Their business specialises in re-forwarding mail/parcels to international customers. Since using the service for the first time I have discovered hundreds if not thousands of people online who have fallen victim to this company and their illegal practises. They notify you of issues with your parcel, then proceed to charge additional storage time while they take up to 7 days to reply to support tickets.
I had an issue with my first parcel purchased from Ebay, they subsequently informed me that they would not send it out to me, so I requested a mail-out to the ebayer who sold the item (special request which was charged for) They have now since created additional barriers in order for me to get my parcel returned to the ebay vendor, they're requesting that I have someone collect from USPS which is impossible to do as a customer from outside the United Kingdom.
A quick check on their google reviews will show hundreds of people falling victim to the same issue I am having, that this company uses practises and behaviours to purposely tap customers and their purchases.
My Parcel is quoted to be at their local reception near your police station, however I have no ability to get USPS to collect it as they also waited several days to reply that the ebay return period is closing.
Please avoid this company, the say its setup is a complete trap. You; ll get charged at every point, even for refunds, for more storage time because they take ages to reply, then you simply get told to collect your own parcel despite paying for a special request

Got a pair of ski boots sent from a ski shop to Shipito. Based on all the poor reviews their were one or two good ones so i thought i might take a chance. Was easy to set up, box was sent to Shipito warehouse, and they tokk a photo and gave me options for shipping. They sent the box to Australia and i received it ok.
A week late i decided to get a ski jacket and ski pants and get it sent to Shipito Warehouse once again. They received it, and then it all started to go downhill.
First they wanted my credit card details, (I used Paypal the first time), then the credit card had to be verified, which they charged my account, then they wanted a copy of my PASSPORT, a copy of my DRIVERS LICENCE, a UTILITY BILL, all my credit card details and paypal details
They still have my package.
Just a complete rip off and waste of time.

I received a package via UPS. Shipito would not mail it out to me unless I get a USPS (nothing to do with UPS) form 1583 notarized and sent to them. The customer service representative, Erisa, gave me the link to an online service to notarize the form, saying that if I use the service with the link she gave me. I would not have to mail to form, the service would send it to them directly. This costed more than $100, but I did it. Now, Shipito is refusing this notarized form by the site THEY told me to use, and are asking me to get the form notarized via a different link than what the customer representative initially sent me.
I am trapped, have to pay hundreds of dollars to get my package mailed to me, and powerless unless I give up on my package, which I absolutely refuse to do. This is a total rip off, I am beyond furious. Do NOT use their service, you will only pay insane mailing charges, and sometimes be stuck having to pay ridiculous amounts of money for a notarized form that should not be required.

Since it was bought by another company and changed the visuals, shipito has changed from the company that we used to love into what you'll read below. Before we had problems 1-2 per year but now it's 1-2 per WEEK.
- Before we could talk with a real person: Jason (customer service manager), Ryan (warehouse manager) or even John (CEO and owner). Now we only talk with receptionists whose only job is to apologize. Recently some of them are even unpleasant over the chat, not showing any willing to help the customer to work out the issue.
- New look of the website is complete pain. It's quite messy, a lot of great features that we loved before have gone for some unknown reason.
- Handling with items is poor. They've ruined a lot of my expensive and sensitive items although I've messaged them numerous times saying how NOT to handle with them. Quality of photos they take is also unacceptable. 20 years old cheap camera would make better ones.
Though they still charge customers anywhere they can, even for what is not special request actually.
- They lost my item and after weeks of back and forths, I was never refunded for my loss. They suddenly just stopped replying about that issue, like it's quite normal to get stuff lost. Completely unprofessional. This never happened before.
- They offer ONLY FedEx shipping within USA! Not even largest carriers like USPS or UPS. One more thing that is hard to believe. FedEx prices are ridiculously high btw.
- Price have hiked with no explanation. Shipito is now run by people like Nicole, Katrina, Mariana, Nancy, which are toddlers with no responsibility. Everyone is a supervisor, all email accounts redirect to the same inbox.
- It takes them very long to respond on Support Tickets filled by customer. Before we used to get reply almost instantly.
- They also removed their support forum, I guess they were overwhelmed by their incompetence.
Stay away and look for other alternatives.

I tried shipito because I was desperate needing a few item from the states that doesn't ship oversea. You need $5 deposit to start the account, an other small charge to be on your card in order to have it verified. $1 processing fee for each package to be shipped. Although they have free account option and comes with 180 days on hold on warehouse, if you have more than 1 parcel in the warehouse you are not allow to ship out anything unelss you pay another $10~50 dollar for virtual mailbox to consolidate your packages.
You will not know how much your shipping is for consolidated package until it is done (dah!), and for each parcel you have consolidated will be charged $1.
After seeing all these add on charge, restrictions, and so on. I got fed up with this whole ordeal and just wanted to get over with it. I wanted to charge my account just enough so there won't be any remainders. However the shipping cost the site showed me was over charged so I have left over in my account. Now the agent told me how I can refund the money, but they didn't mention there is a $5 "administration fee" plus 4.3% bank fee, not to mention if you want to do wire transfer, there's additional $32 transfer fee. So now not only I'm overcharged, I can't even get that little money back after paying all those ridiculous charges I've paid.
Oh, and they sure do blame the carrier. For my items, there are only 5 carriers available, and they are either too expensive, or the cheapest one will charge customs upon arrival (one more adding on your grand total!)
One time is enough, I will never go back to this business again, and hopefully this will help others avoid making the same mistake as I did.
