First time using a freight forwarder to ship a package from US to Australia. The website was relatively easy to use, I could track my package and make payment with no fuss as the website was user friendly. They were very quick to ship out my package after I made payment for shipping on the same day it arrived. Was a bit hesitant at first due to reviews I read online but in my experience, they have been excellent and am glad to go with them over the other competitors. Rates were also good as I expected double of what I had to pay in the end.
I've used many international shipping companies in my time and this has to be the worst I have dealt with. The website is terrible and confusing to use and the hidden costs are ridiculous they will force your parcel storage time to laps and keep your parcel
I ordered some coffee glasses. A set of 4.2 arrived OK, the other 2 were a few shards and basically glass dust.
Not Shipito's fault but the complaint is that I had ordered "Extra bubble wrap" ($5) and a "Fragile" sticker ($2).
There were no outwards signs of damage when the box arrived but as soon as I picked the box up I could hear the contents were no longer intact.
Attached is a pic of the "extra bubble wrap" - this for a box measuring about 6 inches square and 3 inches deep. Its 3/16" bubble wrap - almost useless - even if it had been the appropriate size.
staples.com sell 5/16" bubble wrap - 12" x 30 FEET - not 30 inches - 30 F-E-E-T for $8.
I'll let you decide if you think $5 for some scrap, thin, useless, ineffective "extra bubble wrap" is worth it.
I used Shipito to send a package to Australia which was insured for US$436. Shipping cost me US$176 and delivery timeframe was meant to be 4-9 business days. I never saw any updates on the tracking code and contacted them several times for an explanation only to be told that the package was "on it's way" despite the one single tracking update showing that it was sitting in their warehouse. I am trying to get them to pay the insurance amount and refund the shipping cost but they're ignoring my requests.

Used them for several years now, very reliable apart from a single occasion before xmas last. That involved losing track of a package in the xmas rush, I think they discovered they needed an extra warehouse which they now have. They also found my package after a phone request, which was pleasing. Otherwise they have been great and I use them to consolidate packages every few weeks, very happy with the service.
Airmail economy is advertised with 20 to 45 business days delivery time. However, I got the package in less than 15 business days delivered overseas. It is also faster than my another priority parcel still travelling somewhere...
Due to the nature of the business, not many people will have over-the-counter interaction with your company. We have twice now (4 years apart) when traveling to the US, used it to collect goods directly and the service has been brilliant. I have found shipito FANTASTIC! Professional, great service, great shipping rates and savings. Love them. Cant understand the negative reviews. I live in Fiji Islands and find postage expensive and difficult. Shipito has been my answer to all my postal problems. I tried Reship, who charged such high rates, I ended up abandoning a few of my parcels!

I use Shipito for a few years now. I am super happy with their professionalism and that every time everything worked perfectly. The even once helped me import some stuff to their warehouse in Austria and handled the import documents. I can't recommend them enough!

Use the service about one year, I've sent over 20 packages arrived without any problems, small problems like photos that were not good were quickly solved, that is the biggest problem I had was with pictures but it was resolved the same day. I would say that the service is good and honest could be a little cheaper but nothing in this world is perfect, give a note to Shipito 8.5.
I used their service for years.The service works till they decide to arbitrarily to enforce one of their myriad rules and screw you over.
Then they show you their true colors. You item(s) are hostage to their whims thousands of miles from where you live. You have no legal recourse, you can't do anything but write reviews. They have a polite customer service that stops answering your complaints.
You're screwed. Don't use shipito.

I use Shipito service occasionally since 2012. In the meantime I have bought in the USA and Canada and forwarded to Russia 28 parcels. I have never had any issues with Shipito. Even if a seller on ebay or similar site allows international delivery, it is cheaper to send an item to Shipito and then forward it to myself. I read quite a few negative reviews on Shipito here, but in my case they always worked flawlessly.
If you pay this company for delivery insurance. Trust me. You will be doing all the work to make sure your money is refunded to you. I sent them pictures of the damaged box and product. One and a half months ago. Told to take my damaged package to my post office for them to look at it. They tell they do not do that. Asked for shipito help. We cannot do anything. Until I pissed off. They kick me off social media and some of my comments on there service tickets. We're is the customer service in this. I even told them I had a bad back. This still did not matter. I would not use this company for the love or money. You take your pick. It will be a long time before anything is seen or done by this company. If you don't believe me. Read some of the other comments.

Have used Shipito services since long ago, although didn´t have use it for a couple of years. Recently, used Shipito services again and could see they still give high attention to their customers. The chat service is wonderful, helping you to have a great customer experience, as your questions are immediately addressed, and this is a kind of task where many issues can happen. I use a few other services, run by other companies, and can evaluate Shipito as the best of them, by far.

Frankly these people have the hardest verification process I have seen, I am an expat living in Mexico and have been using mail forwarding services for 7 years. I´ve never come across a company so inflexible, uncooperative and unwilling to help. That said their packaging and shipping prices I have found hard to beat. I´m now verified and my wife sent my birthday present to me at this address, for some reason my name was not on the shipping label but I asked them to open the package and look at the invoice. I also sent them the purchase email where it says she bought it but it was shipped to me at my address. They won´t release the package unless I verify her even though my name is on the invoice as the shipping receiver and the email order confirmation. They are a bunch of W...

Unlike whom had problems with verification process, I have sent numerous packages without an issue. I don't know how the verification process works but I think they're more flexible than other forwarders and their prices acceptable.
After reading reviews here I was kind of worried as there has been a lot of bad ones lately. I had a lot of problems ordering some cosmetics for my girlfriend... we ended up losing one package and another was counterfeit. So I ordered straight from the company and use Shipito. All of the steps to get my item went smoothly and within 2 weeks I got my package with all items.

Really arrogant, unhelpful customer service. Their added fees along with high shipping prices are a rip off. It took me 5 times to cancel my account. They kept telling me I needed a zero deposit balance, which I did. But when they did refund me via Paypal, they took a fee on a transfer that was free!

My experience with shipito is the worst, I signed up and tried to use their service. Guess what I lost an item that worth over 200$. Contacted customer service several times but they kept on saying I should contact the local shipping company make a claim. I gave up. I will never ever use their service and won't recommend it to anyone.

They shipped my packages as soon as they received money. My stuff arrives well protected and in perfect conditions. I highly recommend shipito. This company is better than many of them I've tried. That's why I only deal with them
Ok so before using Shipito I used their online calculator to work out approximately how much it would cost to ship some parts from US to Australia. I received an estimate of around $350 US so I signed up. I asked for my items to be consolidated into one package (this is an option) only to be told afterwards it was too big for any of their carriers (DHL, Fedex etc.) to ship. They then charged me $150 US to 'un-consolidate' the package and I was forced to post the items individually. It cost me around $600 US in postage. On top of this they lost one of my items and blamed the supplier even after my supplier provided tracking numbers and dates when the items were posted. To add insult to injury I had one last package to send to Australia and they sent it to the wrong address instead. So in a nutshell don't use these guys because they are hopeless!
Review of mail forwarding company Shipito--------Seriously, the absolute worst customer service of any company I've ever had the displeasure of having to work with. After they destroyed several of my packages last time I used them, I vowed never to use them again. However, a few months later I again wanted something from the US so decided to give them another try. Bought the item and had it shipped to my US address with Shipito. However when I tried to login I was unable to do so. Contacted customer service. Was told someone would look into it and get back to me. Weeks later and still waiting for a reply. I simply cannot for the life of me understand why this company spends time and money trying to attract new customers, whilst at the same time trying so hard to drive their existing customers away. Absolutely Unbelievable. Avoid this company like the plague!
My package was stolen while it was in the mailbox and only reimbursed the declared value even though I sent them original invoice and tracking number that proves the value of the goods. I have used them for 4 years. Lately their service has been awful and their shipping fees increased. It takes more than two weeks to receive a package sent with TNT economy, while before it used to take 7 days.
