First time using a freight forwarder to ship a package from US to Australia. The website was relatively easy to use, I could track my package and make payment with no fuss as the website was user friendly. They were very quick to ship out my package after I made payment for shipping on the same day it arrived. Was a bit hesitant at first due to reviews I read online but in my experience, they have been excellent and am glad to go with them over the other competitors. Rates were also good as I expected double of what I had to pay in the end.
I've used many international shipping companies in my time and this has to be the worst I have dealt with. The website is terrible and confusing to use and the hidden costs are ridiculous they will force your parcel storage time to laps and keep your parcel
I wanted to order goods for myself and have them delivered to Portugal. I entered all the details into their price calculator, and it showed that the delivery would be $30 USD. I thought, "Great!" and proceeded with the order. However, when my goods arrived, I was informed that due to a jar of spirits in my order, the delivery cost had increased to $130. I found it surprising that their calculator didn't have a category for such items, leading to different pricing. Reluctantly, I agreed to pay the $130. But then, I discovered that Shipito would charge me an additional $95 for packaging. It's frustrating when you're not informed about these costs upfront. In the end, I had to pay a total of $260 for shipping, and they only informed me of this after my goods were already in their warehouse. I wouldn't recommend their services to anyone!

Over the years I have used a number of forwarding agents to ship purchases made in USA to Australia and none have performed as well as Shipito.
As a customer you can access their website to find out whether your purchase has been received, and then choose from a number of carriers to make the delivery. Your purchase is photographed and you can add insurance for a very reasonable rate.
I have no hesitation in recommending this company to any overseas buyers making purchases in the USA. They deserve the five star rating I gave them!
In my first purchase was all perfect, (because the purchase was of little value). In my second purchase, of greater value, they told me that my package was lost in their deposits (I stole them), I was waiting for 2 weeks and in the end they told me that they could not find my packages, request a refund and they immediately suspended my account supposedly For "fraud". There are already many cases like mine, I do not understand how this scam company is still working!

I've been using Shipito for over a year. I've had at least 20 packages shipped to me and I've never had a problem with them. My packages always arrive within a few weeks and in perfect condition. Shipito has given me the opportunity to order things from several online stores that does not ship to my country. I would strongly recommend Shipito.
I have really bad experience with them. I will never use it again, i bought a mobile 600 dollar and it should arrive one week ago but the tracking number is wrong and they keep saying wait a few days more. And i am still waiting until now. I paid around 37 dollars for the shipping. I never use it again. Be careful guys.
I have been working with Shipito for more than 5 years. I did 29 consolidations and 40 shipments worldwide. They started with very professional behaviour and high-quality customer support. By the time I see several drawbacks that make me frustrated. The customer service responses are very poor and lack a sense of support rather than response. The delay in responses and the shipping rates are getting higher. After a long journey of engagement and doing business, finally, I decided to terminate the service with them and switch to a better service provider.
My questions prior to using this service were answered quickly. The service itself was smooth and everything I hoped it would be/expected. I wanted to get a gift for a friend in another country from a goat's milk soap website that is only available to ship within the US, Shipito was perfect for this.

SHipito now wants to charge me again for a another shipping and wont refund my costs for the first shipment they sent through a wrong service.

I loved this company, they were quick, reliable and trustworthy. I used them for over 6 years but these last couple of months, they have dropped the ball really bad.
No service, lost parcels, parcel damage, out of 23 shipments in the last 4 months, 3 of them didn't have issues, you heard right 3.
They lost a few, damaged a few, few got stuck in the warehouse for more than a month, denied insurance on multiple instances, what can i say - really, really bad. I am still chasing them for items, still waiting on them to contact me about the items they damaged. There is stuff worth over 5000 that is still pending, stuff that was bought in October.
Avoid, avoid, avoid... i know i will take my business somewhere else, they seem like they are on their way towards bankruptcy.

Give them time to cleanup their act , or just avoid , not worth the hassle.
As title says, they were one of the best but lately they gone bad, service is slow, loosing packages, have to file a claim after claim and nobody responds. Contacting live chat and then somebody responds to ticket and then error again etc... endless loop
Shipito.com are scamming buggers! Charged me twice for shipping before finally telling me they dont actually ship my product. Then subsequently go very quiet when I request a refund. Taking weeks to respond, support requests just get closed with requests to create another one. Easy targets if your customers are overseas of course...

It appears that Shipito is using some marketers to clean up their reputations after the recent messes their employees have gotten them into. I've followed up with Shareen, who has contacted me here on SiteJabber, to see if she is offering solutions to Shipito's shortcomings, or if this is quite simply a marketing stunt to trick people into believing they have reformed their customer services. Only time will tell, but I am not enthusiastic about anything Shipito at the moment.
I did receive a small refund, which was very miserly nit picked down to the penny in favor of them, of course.
Also, watch your images, folks. You are being charged for those blurry photos of items in your Mailbox.
So, I filed my BBB complaint. The Reno BBB contacted Shipito and reported my filing to them and asked what they would do to resolve the complaint. Shipito's response was that everything was my fault, including their system and the issues it has interfacing with USPS. They finally refunded my deposit, which was held for nearly two weeks against my will. They kept canceling my refund requests. They made every excuse (I call them lies) why they couldn't refund: "you didn't provide payment info", "our system is updating" and "you will be refunded by tomorrow, I'm in accounting". Two weeks later, after the BBB is involved, they returned my funds that was again overpayment on my part, and they did it without a valid refund request and without me submitting payment info. Don't forget, I pay them with the same card, same account and have auto-renewal for my annual fees, and they had the nerve to claim they don't have payment info. Funny, when the BBB called, they suddenly found my info.
People, please stay away from this company. They are crooks and do so many things that are just totally against the customer. Worst customer service experience of my life. I have 100% feedback and nearly 25 years of Internet commerce--this company is the worst I've ever encountered.
I am very displeased with Shipito. I have filed a Nevada BBB complaint and plan to escalate my discrimination claim to the highest level possible. For all the people writing positive reviews, beware that when you encounter a problem, you will see the very worst side of Shipito. Say your prayers and cross your fingers that all your transactions go smoothly, because its when you need Customer Service, that you will find out they don't have any. And, good luck talking to a manager/supervisor. If you request manager assistance, the support ticket person will systematically close, merge or otherwise try to 'pigeonhole' you so you can never reach a supervisor or manager. Also, good luck trying to get them on the phone once they know you are trying to call. They will systematically screen your calls and ignore you.
I was like many people in the beginning--I had some positive experiences and some nuances, but I ignored them because I had always gotten my business done. Since January 2018, things have gotten much worse, especially at the Minden, NV branch. They had a problem with tracking data from their system and USPS. Two months later, and 20+ support tickets filed, I finally was notified by the Greek Customs Authority via letter as to the whereabouts of my package. Shipito never provided me with the tracking number, nor bothered to even address that I was constantly asking them to provide the data. During this time, I had someone near the Minden branch use the package dropoff. He emailed me and told me that he had a terrible experience with the person working. He said they were not professional and did not know their job. He wasn't impressed and warned me about their services.
Also, I attempted to ship another package after the snafu with the tracking data. Because I had complained, they started to discriminate systematically against me. All my items were heavily scrutinized, and they refused to ship certain items claiming that they were not allowed by Greek law. I went to the Greek authority's website and attached a list of their restricted items, which did not contain any item (or any item category) Shipito was refusing to ship. They still refused to ship the items, and continued to accrue charges for them taking photos and opening the package. I contacted other sellers for the same items and they offered international shipping via USPS. I provided this information to Shipito. I obtained a list of restricted items from USPS and provided them that data also to Shipito, as none of my items were on that list. They refused to answer and would not meet any request to provide supporting evidence for their actions, or even attempt to speak with me regarding why they were refusing to ship the item I had proven was legal by all authorities for shipping. Every time I do get a response, its another lie that covers their lack of action and customer service. They tailor their actions and 'rules' at their will--there is no unbiased standard by this company.
I claim that Shipito targeted me because I complained about their services. After my complaints, I was systematically ignored and given half answers for every question I asked (not just those above). I finally shipped the package to my mother's house. They charged me more than $90 in service fees and they never sent the items. Further, since I had already paid in full for international shipping of the package, I have remaining funds on my account. I have been making refund requests for over 2-weeks. Each time they make a new excuse and say more lies about why they can't give my money back.
This Mariana name I see on many complaints against this company is who I'm speaking with now. Same old story, she's acting like she is sorry for what's happening, promises to fix it and then disappears. Meanwhile, she systematically merged my ticket with another one, so it doesn't get escalated to supervisor/manager level. This happens every time I request to deal with a manager. They merge/close or answer another ticket instead so you can never get managerial attention. Currently, I have a $125 deposit balance that they are refusing to give back. I dont owe them money, they owe me money for services I paid for, but they never provided. What justification do they have to hold my money and then blatantly lie to me about why they are holding the money.
Lastly, I am a Disabled Veteran. This has given me quite a bit of unnecessary stress, which has caused me to have some stress/health-related issues. I dont need this kind of nonsense in my life. Shipito should be ashamed of themselves.
These guys are disfunctional. Although they don't outright steal from you, their are lots of gotcha fees. ("$7 shipping. Except if it's electronics or if you want it in less than 2 months... then it's $35 minimum.") The approval process is excruciating, and requires you to jump through a million hoops because of their crappy automatic system. If you don't use the money you deposit in your account, there is no reasonable way to get it back; they keep it. Eventually you usually will receive your package, but it's *always* cheaper, faster, and easier to just go through another method (e.g., Amazon international shipping). I strongly regret signing up for this service.

Received a package after roughly 30 business days comparing 5-15 stated in the description. Hence arrived after it was needed.
Plus it looks like they are trying to perceiving us on this site with so many 1st time user reviewing on March 7th, while nothing positive happened for a while before...
Waiting for a ticket response for over 3 months, have asked for an update many times on ticket #******* now regarding an insurance claim because the packaging at shipito went totally wrong and I the shipper can't really be the one to blame here, but shipito is, but don't know since I don't get any response...
i did use 24 hour chat support and due to geographical location, time different is +8GMT, all enquiry is handle professionally by personnel. I m happy with her response. Yeah, u might have a great product but support services is matter. Keep it up work Shipito.

Have been a long time shipito premium account user.
It seems that this company is going downhill. They keep raising fees without improving service or give any legitimate reasons.
In addition, the packing and shipping rates leave a lot to be desired. They will pack your things seperately even if you ask for custom sized boxes. So you will have to pay shipping and fees twice.

Signed up a year ago after researching other sites like MyUS ect, had friends using other sites but all had dramas and issues. Very simple site, all the info is there if you care to peruse it all, no traps or hidden charges.
I had ordered vehicle parts from businesses in the US, had sent free of charge to my Shipito address and considering the weight and size they arrived at my address in a week from clicking send! This was during the busiest season of Christmas/New Year. Have more stuff on order as i am confident they will deliver. Competive prices and from where I stand great service.
Used them once before without a problem, this time however is going to force me to take legal action against them.
A family member sent a present, not new or purchased, they opened it, saw it was expensive and insist that i pay a 10% import tax - according to the value of the item...
They think they are a regulatory body when they are a simple incompetent warehouse filled with non english speaking thieves.
These sc ammers are delaying as much as they can and charging additional small fees that I have not asked for.

I have been using these guys for nearly a year - they are awesome.
Everything made it to Australia - from google glasses to my latest computer gaming chair which is enormous (it was expensive but the stupid merchant wouldnt deliver to Melbourne)
The customer service person I spoke to was awesome too, she even tried to take the chair apart and put it into a smaller box to save me fees.
Im writing this as I dont think all the negative responses here provide a fair representation of their value..
Everything was going fine until they put my account on hold for ID verification. They didn't say anything about this before. Now they are declining all my ID documents and claiming that they're fake. I will definitely call tomorrow until I get my money or package. I deposited $15 extra dollars just for their expensive postage (doesn't make sense for a 0.15oz envelope!)

Shipito will not take responsibility for the damage their negligence caused to my items.
I was using this service and it was going well. All of sudden when I got my stuff ready to ship, they held my account for security review. Upon their request, I provided my proof of IDs and verified my card. They are blind on this. I got no reply from them. They removed chat option from their website and not answering any calls. I have already paid them the shipping and consolidation charges. Got no emails from them.

I worked with shipito from 2013. They had in US 3 warehouse in three different states.
I remember same day package arrived, consolidate, shipping. Was excellent customer service and from benefits which I got I paid only shipping cost because I worked a lot with them.
Now in 2021 I am very disappointed from this company. They have very bad customer service with bad communication with the warehouse.
Also very high charges for any request and sometimes you must make it twice.
I look for other warehouse in USA.
Easy to do, good service, and quick delivery.
Would use it anytime again for us to europe goods.
Lots of extra options, like photo's from your purchase and severall send options.
