First time using a freight forwarder to ship a package from US to Australia. The website was relatively easy to use, I could track my package and make payment with no fuss as the website was user friendly. They were very quick to ship out my package after I made payment for shipping on the same day it arrived. Was a bit hesitant at first due to reviews I read online but in my experience, they have been excellent and am glad to go with them over the other competitors. Rates were also good as I expected double of what I had to pay in the end.
I've used many international shipping companies in my time and this has to be the worst I have dealt with. The website is terrible and confusing to use and the hidden costs are ridiculous they will force your parcel storage time to laps and keep your parcel
My experience was awful, they had no problems taking my deposit and parcel and then placed a security restriction on my account, simply because I had my work address as the delivery address. In order to remove this restriction, I was asked to provide copies of my passport, utility bill and notary declaration or else pay them again by wire transfer. I elected to pay them by wire transfer to get my parcel back which costed me hefty fees, then I had to file a credit card chargeback to get my 1st deposit back, as this company charges 4.3% of deposit on refund, even though it was their fault for taking my money and not providing service. I only used them once and felt like they were holding my money and parcel at ransom to force me meet their ridiculous requirements( not to mentioned the extra costs). Save yourselves the pain and use another provider.
First time customer and I am thrilled! Absolutely great service and I am happy that although living in Europe I will now be able to shop in the USA! I can only recommand Shipito! Thank you my experience was overall perfect! Regards Diane

I find Shipito an excellent service. On this occasion, however, there was a problem in following the additional shipping requests that were, in fact, critical for having sufficient insurance against content damage and delivery issues. I requested photos of contents, and additional insurance. However although I was billed for the extra services, Shipito ommited to take content photos. Fortunately the parcel arrived safely, and Shipito refunded the cost of additional photos. But this could have been a costly error, if it had invalidated the freight insurance.
They are not straight with the customer. Although the quote was like 13 $ to ship I ended up paying 27 $. Which to be honest I wouldn't have done it if known beforehand. Another extremely worrying thing is account verification. They have lowered my spending limit to 160$, luckily after the first test package was send, with the request to send highly sensible information to them to verify who I am. They claim because there is a discrepancy in my account, what ever that may be. This they will not tell you. Unfortunately there is a lot of fraud on the internet with credit cards but also with identities so this cuts both ways shipito.
I did a test run with them but they failed. I will not use this service again since there is not really clarity about the costs but most bothersome is the account verification system they have. This really smells fishy.
Super service, extremely fast delivery and the communication considering the time difference was awesome. Always ready, available and helpful with all my nervous questions as a first time customer, shipito couldn't have provided better service.

This is the first time I used their service and I'm fully satisfied with Shipito. I used the Assisted Purchase to buy an iPad and the pencil from the Apple store. They consolidated the items into one package and this made me save half of the shipping costs. :)
They repackaged some packages for me and lost 1 item. They have a very inflexible process that has you running around to post offices and collecting information and then they just say "claim denied". All care and no responsibility, the lost part would be in the repacking room, but they don't care.

Used this company for a number of years. I understand they were purchased by new owners. Had a package delivered to the Hawthorne site. They took pictures of the two dash cams for our cars that I ordered from the U.S. This model not available in Canada. The have stonewalled me for a month. Keep pretending they are going to mail out the package and then say they cannot locate them. I expect they were stolen by warehouse staff. They DO NOT have any customer service department and their " supervisors" are fictional. FIND ANOTHER SHIPPER.
Although I have written a review of this site before, I just had a wonderful experience with their customer service department, and thought that everyone should know about it. I had a problem with a package that I was trying to have forwarded, and their customer service representative was extremely patient, courteous, and helpful in both straightening out the problem and enabling me to relax and understand the situation and procedures involved.
I am therefore very happy to report that both their package forwarding services and their customer service is first rate. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs to have a package forwarded, and will continue to use them with total peace of mind and security.
The worst forwarding company there is. Slow, expensive, with a horrible customer service. They failed to deliver my package. It was a $50 phone that I paid $30 to ship the first time. The phone was returned to their warehouse without any attempt to deliver. I know the courier it is to blame as well, but I was the one left with the loss. Shipito does not care. Now shipito wants me to fork over $100 to ship again. In total, I would be wasting $130 to ship a $50 phone. Not including another $50 fee for the mailbox that I already paid before. Their support service does not reply tickets. I have tickets that went over 30 days without a response until I closed it. All around simply the worst freight forward company in the World. Shipito charges $50 to ship a 500g phone overseas and without a tracking code. Other companies charge $30 to ship with tracking. Stay clear from this garbage of a company! I have abandoned my phone at their warehouse now. 0/10 experience!

I want to thank Mariana, April and the warehouse crew at Shipito for going beyond the usual service in a recent special request. I recently needed to have some documents mailed to an address in the US. I am in a nationwide quarantine in Colombia due to the corona virus and unable to have my documents mailed out from here. I requested that they receive them electronically and send them on from their office in California. Their willingness to improvise on a request that was basically the reverse of the service they normally perform shows the superior level of customer support they give to their customers. The communication through telephone and support ticket made it easy to insure that the transaction went smoothly. I highly recommend their services to anyone looking for a package forwarding service.
Unreliable - if you do not buy expensive insurance, your package almost certainly will get lost. Tracking leads to Liberia, even I live in Germany. Mistake from Shipito? Not if you believe what the service chat and it's textbook phrases answers you.
Expensive - Paying 9 USD for a letter that costs 1 USD by USPS is stealing.

Customer service is fking useless. I don't know why they provide a useless support. All the agent told me is that they can't do anything to track my package back since it's lost due to their mistake, and refuse to pay any compensation even i pay the insurance.

I am only an occasional user of Shipito, and that is why they are perfect for my needs. I did not want to be tied down to a monthly contract when I knew that there would be many months when I did not need their services. When I have used them, I have found them to be efficient, professional and good value for money. I highly recommend them.
Outstanding services. I received service notification with picture when package arrived at Shipito warehouse, I was able to choose services as needed and shipping options. After charge with my credit card, ship was executed and package received in Brazil with NO issues. No additional tax.

Contains expensive and valuable items like rare photo lenses, leather premium bag etc.
Shipping was cancelled. Box marked as "Lost" and nothing more.
No still refunded at all! I lost $534.12.
All deposit refunds requsts are ignored. No refunds to PayPal or Credit card for a month.
No real customer support by tickets - only useless "we are sorry".
No customer support in official Facebook page.
Hawthorne PD was informed and filed by a possible scam crime by Shipito.
Global Access, Inc. (Shipito parent company) be informed shortly.
Russian authorities are be informed also.
Illegal operation in Russia. Russian customers - beware!

Lost my package. Asked for invoices, shipper;'s information and receipts. Provided all but haven't heard from them in days. Good thing there was limited value in the item sent to Shipitto. Test run and they FAILED!

Every other package gets lost in sorting and requires a support ticket for any hope of locating it, this wasn't the case a few months ago. Delivered packages take significantly longer to be added to my virtual mailbox, shipment carrier tracking shows packages delivered 3-5 days before the are entered into virtual mailbox. Some "additional requests" are not honored such as keep original shipping box instead of retail packaging as well as remove receipts. Overall my experience with shipito has been very good, but recently i have been having more than acceptable delays and issues, i am a little sore my last package was lost for over 15 days before it was located.
Im seriously addicted to shopping online and even more so because of Shipitos services... theyre just fast, friendly and their packaging is good (although there was that one time where one of my facial toners spilled but they reimbursed me for the items full price and it was just a small spill). I miss their points-rewarding thingy though... where you can collect points every time you send a package and then I think once you reached a certain point you get a discount on the shipping price. SHIPITO if you are reading this please consider bringing that back! Ive also used their assisted purchase service a number of times already and so far its been a good experience.
