First time using a freight forwarder to ship a package from US to Australia. The website was relatively easy to use, I could track my package and make payment with no fuss as the website was user friendly. They were very quick to ship out my package after I made payment for shipping on the same day it arrived. Was a bit hesitant at first due to reviews I read online but in my experience, they have been excellent and am glad to go with them over the other competitors. Rates were also good as I expected double of what I had to pay in the end.
I've used many international shipping companies in my time and this has to be the worst I have dealt with. The website is terrible and confusing to use and the hidden costs are ridiculous they will force your parcel storage time to laps and keep your parcel
A package of mine returned to the warehouse. It took them a week to mark it as returned after they had received it, and then, I am still waiting until I can do something with the package. It is being held "hostage" almost.
Even though the package had arrived, the arrival indication was not reflected on the control panel even after a week.
I'd like to check the parcel, but the shipping company says it was delivered elsewhere.
A few hours after that contact, I received a message saying that the parcel had arrived.
Next, I arranged for shipping.
I got a zip code error.
The system was not able to handle delivery to countries without a zip code.
As a result, I had to issue support tickets many times.
It was very annoying, so please try to improve it.

Be prepared to issue a support ticket as problems are likely to occur.

Have had great customer service but based upon shipping costs from buying many items from various companies feel the shipping prices are much higher than shipping costs from businesses selling products and charging for shipping.
I wanted to take a moment to say how impressed I am with your service. I first tried your service 6 years ago - and last, about a week ago. I was impressed at how quickly my merchandise was booked into my suite (±18 hours) - and how swiftly it was shipped out (couple hours after I submitted). It was remarkable, given the amount of shipments you have to deal with, judging from the size of your warehouse, on photos I have seen online.
My shipment arrived in South Africa 4 days after it hit your warehouse - awesome work!
This service is expansive and has too much fees. Be careful when using their shipping calculator, it's not true maybe is fake when you calculate the item with the same mesure and weight you get a cheap price but when the item is arrived to the warehouse you will be shocked by the new price, and also there is more fees you will paid, in total the shipping will be about 110$ to 140$ Instead what they provides in shipping calculator.
This is the last time that i will use this service.
The shipping calculator is very accurate as long as you have the exact weight and dimensions of the box. Often what is listed on the store website is item size only without taking into account the shipping packaging. To get the best estimate its best to get the exact dimensions and weight of the outer shipping container with item inside.
My package was not delivered due to an error on the documentation -- the customs declaration was unreadable (picture)-- so I requested to be refunded since the error was not on my end.
The company tried to blame me, saying the package was unclaimed. Luckily I had a copy from the unreadble document, but after I sent the proof they stopped respond my claims. I had to pay another shipping fee.

I've used Shipito services for a year now and I have had three packages sent to Brazil. I have no complaints and I really like the pictures they take when the packages arrive at the warehouse. It's been a solution for the packages that sellers don't offer shipping directly to Brazil.
I've been using Shipito for quite a while now, to forward mail and packages from the US to where I am.
The service is very easy to use, the process are quite reasonable, and the support (when required) is great.
They made an error causing my package returned -- forgot to include the safety sheet I uploaded via the web-system which was a requirement to finalise the mailout... After confirming the problem my ticket was left without any response despite numerous follow ups I left there as well as opening new tickets. Cannot get any response and initiating proceedings against them. Terrible experience.
First time I used this it went perfect. The second time I had a package forwared, nothing ever arrived. After 9 weeks it came back at the USA shipito address.
They claimed it was my own fault because I was not home and their courrier only tries to deliver once and does not leave a notice or whatsoever. I checked the photographs supplied by Shipito and the package has never even been in my country!
I had delivery insurance on this package, which I paid extra for but nothing was refunded. I decided to pay a lot extra for TNT shipping but I am still waiting for it to be shipped.
This is taking weeks already now, the postage I have paid for this item is already double the value because Shipito is a really bad website that does not know what their are doing.
Don't bother to buy their insurances because they will rip you off anyway.
Shipito has been my favorite forwarding mail service, however lately the service been slightly trended down from packaging quality to the charge of shipping and the speed of processing but it remains on top of competitors at least for me.

Since now I was served by BundleBox which is too expensive now. With Shipito I have and average save of 25% for express service to Europe with DHL. This is pretty nice.
We'll see if they are able to maintain those cheap fares in the future.
To improve the servie, honestly they should pay attention to offer also Air Mail at a reasonable price.
I had never used a Freight Forwarder before so I had a lot of questions which were answered in a kind and timely manner. My goods were consolidated as requested. The price was the best compared to others I had looked at. My products were purchased from Amazon and shipped to Shipito and then I had them shipped to Australia. Australia Post delivered them to my door. This is a real and genuine review. I found Shipito to be extremely helpful. I would definitely use Shipito again and happy to recommend their service to others.

I got my package, so I'm happy about that. The fees were high. I bought a pop up kids playhut from Toys R Us for 49.99. (Very light, not a big box) Toys R Us offers free shipping. However, by the time it got to my door, I had paid $57.49 US in fees. The quote I got before I shipped the package to them was $26.89. I did like the photo taken at the warehouse, and I appreciate that they have overhead costs, but if the fees had been more reasonable I would have used them again. As it stands, I'm just going to keep the one package and consider it a lesson learned.

From what I understood from the agreement, if you refuse to pay the shipping costs once they have your package, they keep your package and you are SOL.

Shipito is a highly recommended service for anyone who wants to send goods bought in USA to his own address in Europe or elsewhere. Shipping costs for small packets bellow 4lb, sent w. Airmail Economy, are often lower than shipping within USA.
I just wasted 8.5 bucks
They advertise like they are free to signup, then you have to place a deposit. Once you're in you see that you have to pay much more to be able to use their service (notarize the documents, scan and send IDs etc)
You want a refund? Well, they'll keep $5 anyway!
Avoid them!
Thanks Shipito, this is probably around the 20th transaction using shipito to Australia and again, no problems, items arrived promptly and intact. All have been single transactions so I cant really comment on consolidation or multiple packages. For single packages, not a single problem. And no, I dont work for shipito!
The service is excellent, I hv no complaint, all of my packages are handled very fast, the consolidation, concierge service, repacking etc, and value for money. Shipito provide several options for forwarder services which I can choose depend on my budget.

AWFUL. AVOID THIS SERVICE!
My package got never delivered (not even a delivery attempt) until I got a mail saying the package is now in London and on it's way back. I was given the option of either returning the package to SHIPITO for another 65$ or abandoning it. I asked for a proper delivery instead, received no answer but the same standardized email. I wrote again, but instead of a proper answer I was informed that my package was abandoned due to my failure to respond within 24h. This is the worst service you could imagine.
NOW: Have you ever wondered where all the items of their auctions (http://auctions.shipito.com/list/page/) are from? Probably from "abandoned" packages like mine...
The first time I used this service my package never arrived, fine, my fault for not paying extra for insurance. The 2nd time they "misplaced" part of my order & refused responsibility for it. When they sent what remained they removed items from their packaging & sent them unprotected - how is this a helpful service? I thought I would use this service to save money but it cost me >$150, not including their fees & postage cost, and I never even got most of what I ordered. It isn't even cheap, they charge fees for everything. I would never use this site again & seriously advise anybody to avoid it.

Despite I'm happy with the service given to me, I have to say that I think that the advantages granted for the annual account ($50), are too much expensive. I don't see the point of paying an annual fee, if after that I have to pay for every action individually. Probably won't pay the annual account in the future.
This business is terrible.
The verification process is much to complex. The website is horrible.
The shipping calculator is totally inaccurate, I was shipping and the actual cost was 50% higher then the estimate.
The managers are rude and not friendly.
I would defiantly suggest going with another company.
