First time using a freight forwarder to ship a package from US to Australia. The website was relatively easy to use, I could track my package and make payment with no fuss as the website was user friendly. They were very quick to ship out my package after I made payment for shipping on the same day it arrived. Was a bit hesitant at first due to reviews I read online but in my experience, they have been excellent and am glad to go with them over the other competitors. Rates were also good as I expected double of what I had to pay in the end.
I've used many international shipping companies in my time and this has to be the worst I have dealt with. The website is terrible and confusing to use and the hidden costs are ridiculous they will force your parcel storage time to laps and keep your parcel
Couldn't believe how quickly my parcel arrived to Australia. On the same day that my parcel left Shipito with DHL, I had another parcel shipped from within Australia to me through our national postal service (Australia Post). The parcel from Shipito, on the other side of the world, was delivered by DHL two days earlier than the parcel I had shipped from within Australia. What's more, DHL actually delivered my parcel on a Sunday, only four days after it had left The States. Now that's what you call service!
DO NOT TRUST THIS FORWARDER, I LOST A PACKAGE WITH THEM, ALL MY 9 CONSOLIDATED BOXES WORTH $5000, weighing 75kgs. I dont know why that BIG package was lost. They will not entertain TICKETS you submitted. Blocked me with their CHAT. Cannot call them too! WORSE EVER! IVE BEEN MESSAGING THEM FOR 10 CONSECUTIVE DAYS! NO REAL ANSWERS AS TO WHERE IS MY PACKAGE!
Excellent customer service. When I wasn't sure what to do next their on line chat people were great. Package arrived very quickly and I was able to track on TNT website. Would use them again.

I might understand some of the criticism. But they're not so bad.
Very quick to slam you and tell you whatever the problem is is your fault, but anyone whose got an ex-girlfriend should know how to deal with this.
Do get everything mailed to you under your name and have no variance on payment address or anything details as much as possible as they are very sensitive.
Get everything shipped to you in tracking, and put your tracking numbers as expected packages. Double check your packages as they can be sloppy at times, but hold loose items upto 90 days for them to make your way to your box.
Ive shipped about 8 parcels, big ones consolidated and all, and the service has been pretty good. They take photos of everything. Are quick and fast with the necessities you would want from a shipping service.
Be wary of the 2.5 per item and +2 on consigning each item. Im not sure how they stack up against competitors but cant really see it being that much of a difference.
Overall can be a sensitive service, but if youre clean and process all your tracking numbers, the options speed and service makes up for it.
I have used the services of this company to send me a phone. Package was hold on in their warehouse for more than week without any message/notice. Even the shipment and all the necessary documents were agreed and paid. After 7 days they reported me as the security issue and asked me for the invoice and my documents. This was not even their concern. After one week they released my package. But my package was not deliver directly to USPS but via service of the third party shipper. After two more weeks of no updates I have asked again, and after the third message they updated the location to Las Vegas which is more than 500 miles from me. I expected this company is able to deliver me the package in 4-5 weeks but it is not the case! Distance from Oregon to San Francisco is not around the globe. And definitely not through the Vegas! I leave USA this weekend and I have to leave very expensive phone as the gift for my sister in USA because of this company. Do not use Shipito if you need any reliable services. I have multiple experience with this company like this.

I have been a Shipito customer since 2012. While there have been hiccups along the way (including for example a package that was shipped to Russia instead of Australia and got lost over there), I never complained before.
However, most recently they charged me twice to send the same package to Australia and I ended up paying $241.42 handling and shipping costs to Shipito (plus shipping costs within the US to get items to Shipito) for a package worth $650. Customer service has been completely unresponsive for weeks and there has been no reimbursement for the double shipping fees.
They used to be quite OK, but costs are going up and customer service is going down. I will not ship packages through them again.
Update:
After more than three weeks of no information and no responses to my various emails, customer service suddenly reimbursed the double shipping charges. Bottomline: What could have been easily resolved within a day or two dragged out for several weeks and caused significant frustration and delay in shipment. I upgraded my Overall rating from one to three stars, but maintain that this was one of the worst customer experiences I have had in a long time.
I have few accounts of forwarding services. Yet, I still stick with Shipito. The biggest reason is the responsibility, honest and the quality of service and handling. I've been a customer since several years ago. Interfaces are getting cleaner and easier. Apps are available for convenient for both Android and iOS. History of my old shipments and consildation are still intact, kept and not lost.
However, I still would like to see more beneficial and perks to customers, especially those with premium membership. Usually, my item cost less than the available shipping methods. I hope to see more options and affordable fees for international shipping. There are many services out there, even with wider and cheaper processing fees and shipments cost. However, it depends on clients needs and how you/they can afford it. In order to cater a wider audience and clients and to make sure returning customer do happens; attractive fees should be studied. This time, I'm sticking with Shipito due to the earlier reasons. Someday, I might look into cost effective and cheaper fees but with equal performance and services.

NEVER USE THIS SERVICE! I had an item shipped from the US to Russia in August 2020 (I paid $21,9 for shipping). It never arrived, staying somewhere at the shipping company in Russia for a month after it was cleared, and though I sent a lot of messages to Shipito pleading them to help me contact the shipping company to find the parcel (I could see it was staying in the country), they did NOTHING! The parcel was returned back to the US of course, and was lost somewhere in between. Now SHIPITO claims the customs did not clear the parcel that is why they will not do any refund to me (though tracking shows clearly the parcel was cleared). That's OUTRAGEOUS! AWFUL clients service, AWFUL service overall, NEVER USE THEM! They will not help you with any problem and will never refund if their shipping company lost the parcel BY THEIR FAULT. I lost my product and I lost money I paid to them for their service and shipping!

Do not use this company. They give you a quote for your parcel to be sent to Australia, take your money, then don't ship the product. When you try to find out why they say the original shipment method chosen is no longer available and want you to chose another method which is double sometimes triple the cost. Then they don't refund you your original payment. DO NOT USE IF YOU ARE IN AUSTRALIA!

Using their service for more than a year now and very satisfied.
The pricing is very good, especially the "Airmail Economy" option (the express mail options worth their money too, as they arrive fast).
They ship the packages very fast, sometimes just minutes after I finish filling details and clear payment.
Shipito also take a picture of every incoming package, which is nice, but for insurance you will need photos of the content (which cost 2$).
A word of advice, always pay for insurance:
Recently I received a tablet that was damaged in transit and thanks to the insurance i was able to repair it. In that case, getting the money took some time and persistence since it was used, but for other users the process was much quicker and easy.
A 24/7 support is available through chat for every need (very convenient, don't hesitate to use it).
About the sign up process:
Don't be alarmed from the 5$ payment at the sign up, it will enter your balance for future packages.
Note that after signing up you will be asked to verify your account(which is annoying).
The easiest way to do this is to upload a scan of some identification document and digitally signing "FORM 1583". This will get you to 35% verification, which should be enough.

Truthfully I would not use this company. It seems so simple but once packages get shipped out of their warehouse they refuse to help you. I had a package get stopped in customs and they did not work with me to get it out. Then they charged me a fake fee to have it returned to their office. Company is not trustworthy... so sad because it is a good concept
I had to pay extra shipping to ship my items into the country and supposedly with this it would make it so my items could go through customs. Once it got there it got stopped and they wanted over $600 USD customs fees to release my package to me. The items were only worth $84 USD so this is a rip off and does not make sense!
I asked shipito to help me and they said it was out of their hands and that I had to pay the fee. How is this possible when I paid them an extra fee just so my item would be deliverable to my country and make it through customs?
In the end I had the package returned to them. They requested a fake fee for returning the package with fedex and when I asked for a receipt showing this, they said it was against company policy.
SCAM AFTER SCAM when working with shipito... Avoid at all costs...

Don't use them unless you want to lose out on money. The prices they quote you are not what you will pay and there are lots of hidden fees.
Shipito does exactly what they claim to do fast and efficient, cost transparent. Compare your shipping prices and tax in advance to pick the best warehouses to use.
Overall, it's a great experience but there's always 1 or 2 items where shipito forgot to remove the price tags from. I paid extra for removing the price tag but seems like it's still a problem.

Shipito lost 5 of my packages. Back in July. We asked for a refund, submitted receipts online --as they do NOT HAVE A PHONE NUMBER for customers to call and speak to... according to their website and to an email we received in July 2021, shipto stated they assigned our claim to an agent and that this alleged agent would reach out to us in a few days. NEVER HAPPENED! 3.5 months later -- nothing --no refund, not info. Nothing. BIG SCAM! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY... we lost a lot and ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE!

My order was terribly late at customs in Russia.(Boots were to be worn for a show, by dancer, but I had to change the program of the party due to this incident). None seems to be responsible for it.

I have had the same issue as a previous poster - their verification process is just awful, and the customer service matches. I used a third party credit - my husband's - on the account setup, and it all went through fine without any word that it would later be unacceptable. I ordered a pair of running shoes, they arrived at the warehouse, and when I tried to pay for the postage I was informed that y account was on hold because I had used a third party credit card and needed two pieces of ID for the cardholder. I said I couldn't easily provide those since my husband was traveling, and couldn't I just switch the credit card on the account to my own (which I would have done in the first place if I'd known that would be an issue), and they told me I could not. Currently, there seems to be no solution, so my shoes are being held ransom in their warehouse, and their rude staff tell me there is nothing that can be done for me when I call. I don't usually complain about things online, but this is absolutely ridiculous. I would never recommend this company to anyone.
Outstanding! I never thought it could be so easy to have things sent from the US to the UK. The website feels new and fresh, not like some courier stuck in 2010, the information is all there and Shipito makes sure to inform your how the entire process works. The extra options of 'extra padding' and 'fragile' stickers are useful and affordable, and I absolutely LOVE that a casual person like me (that only needed one parcel sent to me) can use the service for free without convuluted subscriptions or fees. I feel a lot more confident now about ordering things US side to be sent over to me in the UK or Europe, I will DEFINITELY use you guys again, honestly so happy! What I bought was not shippable to the UK because of Brexit, and because of Shipito I get to have it. Thank you!

I sent a package to shipito about 4 days ago and it arrived on 8 april. They sent me pictures of the bok and it was ok. Then i put a special request for pictures of the content of the boc but they were delaying so i canceled my special request and went ahead and made the necessary payment and i recieved a mail that i have succesfully completed the deposit. But the problem is since i made the deposit they are not more informing about my product and they say they are processing my specialm request but since 2 days i am getting no feedback!

Sudden change without informing customers...
Im Shipito customer since 2010 and i ship health supplement with DHL & FedEx. My package was ready for mail out since last Friday and today mail out was cancelled and the reason is DHL does not ship health supplement.
For almost 10 years i have been shipping same products.
My question is why the sudden change and without informing your customers that from this date your are not able to ship so and so...
I don't think also DHL will change its regulation without giving its customer time to adjust.
It has happened in the past and customer service told me it was a mistake because the staff who was handling mail out did not know.
I checked with other forwarders and they told i can ship health supplements i also ordered some items from iherb and the shipping is with DHL.
I contacted customer support and they told me it takes 24 hours to look into my case.
If there is a change in company policy they should inform us and if they receive change in policy from courier company they need to inform us and not leave us face the situation.
Last week i shipped same items with DHL from Shipito.
This is unprofessional from Shipito and should make customers worried.

This is my worst experience with a forwarding company. Let me share with you my experience with shipito.
1st they charged me with one shipment containing lithium battery. After two weeks it was returned to them they ask me to declare the batteries though I did last time. Them they ask me to pay again for the same shipment. That never arrived for more than a month until now.
2nd they charged me twice for single shipment. Never admit that they did that. When I open a complaint about charging me twice for single shipment they block my account and keep blocking my account preventing me from shipping other items. When you call costumer support they keep saying that we can not help you it is the secuitity department who keep blocking the account.
Untill now dispite all the emails I have already been sending to open my account and release my items they never response like they punish me for why I complain about them charging me twice.
