First time using a freight forwarder to ship a package from US to Australia. The website was relatively easy to use, I could track my package and make payment with no fuss as the website was user friendly. They were very quick to ship out my package after I made payment for shipping on the same day it arrived. Was a bit hesitant at first due to reviews I read online but in my experience, they have been excellent and am glad to go with them over the other competitors. Rates were also good as I expected double of what I had to pay in the end.
I've used many international shipping companies in my time and this has to be the worst I have dealt with. The website is terrible and confusing to use and the hidden costs are ridiculous they will force your parcel storage time to laps and keep your parcel
I have been a Shipito customer for almost 4 years now, using their services on and off over this time. But after they mishandled one of my package, whatever 'good' words I had to say about them has gone down the drain. After consolidating one of my packages and depositing money in my account to ship this package, nothing happens. This package had goods worth $400 USD. I logged onto my account only to find a support ticket for a Missing Package (they never bothered to email me to let me know that my package was missing and I was waiting around for it for nothing). TWO MONTHS have passed of back and forth conversations with their 'customer service' team, who keep advising me they will contact such and such person for them to get back to me. THEY NEVER DO. Now they are holding my money that I paid for the deposit on the shipment, despite putting in two requests to have that refunded weeks ago. The package is missing, presumably stolen, and despite them listing photos in my account of the consolidated package, they are requesting that I prove to them what was in fact in that package. No refund on my shipping deposit, and no compensation for a lost package. No communication, going around in circles every time which ends up nowhere. They have scammed me of almost $500 US dollars and refuse to do anything about it. STAY AWAY! Do NOT open an account with these guys they are frauds and would do anything to keep your money or to avoid accountability for their errors! I have contacted my bank and got all my shipito transactions as listed as fraudulent so I can receive at the very least, some compensation for my wasted time, money and effort.

OK, I would like the customers to judge the attitude of company toward its client. Basically, $75 worth value of my shipping item to Shipto went abruptly missing. They would just say they have no idea what has happened but somewhere it's "misplaced". I asked for the refund of $75. I provided them with both receipt and bank statement with which I have paid for $75. SHIPTO responded by giving only $10! And they say this is how much you declared the value of item for costumes! SO here you are to judge, I declared the costume value of item to the government and the carrier as $10. This company is not in the business of responding to customers' concern and making a legit business. ALL I get as the response over and over is 10 is declared Costume value and so the refund. COSTUME VALUE IS USED BY COSTUMES, it's the amount I declared to THEM not to SHIPTO. Shipto never asked me about the value of my property and the costume value is not the value of stuff. Costume value is how much I'm giving value at the risk damage to my property by carrier and government officials examining my property. The intrinsic value of my property is at shipto facility or on the planet Mars, it's the same.
I'm pleading anyone to step in and voice the concern over the fraud of this company. OR MAYB
They will pretend to never receive your items and keep them. Do not use they are scammers and are also extremely rude when you contact them.
I send them 6 packages with total 60 shoes inside, i tell them to split to the small size boxes to reduce the cost, i tell them take out all the air bag and paper inside the box, and only left 5 pairs of shoes in each box, but what they do is throw away my shoe boxes, only left the shoes and put a lots of air bags and paper inside the box to protect the naked shoes, without the shoe boxes, i can't sell the shoes, so i contact their customer service, they said i have to submit the silly support ticket and wait the claims department to reply me, because the claims department have no phone number no email address, i can only to submit the ticket to contact them and wait them reply me once a day, so finally i received their respond on next day, they said they can only compensate 50 USD for the shoeboxes, which my whole package is worth more then 8000 USD. I do not agree and reply them they should compensate me at least 3500 USD and they just dont respond, after two days past, i contact them again, not they threat me that if i dont accpet the 50 USD, they will just closed the support ticket and would not reply me anymore. Now i just want to find some people who had the similar issue and together we can sue them to the court.
I've been using Shipito for several years and they were excellent. However, recently things have changed drastically. Charges and fees have increased which I do understand but unfortunately they also apply changes where they shouldn't just to have you pay more than required.
For example, I requested consolidation of several packages to be shipped to my country. I paid the required fees and they did the consolidation. I then paid for the consolidated packages to be shipped. Now, they cancelled the shipment and said that 2 of the items can't be shipped because they contain loose battery. I was surprised because both items have their batteries built into the product which is as per IATA requirements. I spoke to the customer service to explain that these products are eligible to be ship by air but they insisted that there is no way to ship these products by air. My only solution was to split the main package and remove the 2 problematic items (problematic according to them). This means that I had to pay them to split the package. Another surprise for me - when the package was split, the main one which is now lighter in weight is costing more that it was before removing the 2 products. Still, I paid for it and it was finally shipped.
Now, the second package with the 2 products (problematic items according to them) was still in warehouse and they do not agree to ship it to another freight forwarder. I therefore make another request for this one to be shipped... And you know what - they shipped it without any issue! But the thing is - I paid another $73 for this shipment (excluding the split fees etc...). They fooled me so that I spent another $80 something when the products were eligible to be shipped in the very same package. They are just looking for all stupid excuses to steal your money!
I will never recommend or use Shipito services again! NEVER!
Tip for consumers:
Be careful as they look for every excuses even fake reason to make you spend a lot more than you should. I spent $80 more where everything should have been smooth.

Tip for consumers:
Use the California warehouse. If you ship to NV you have to wait for it to go by truck to California and they said there rates are a bit more from NV. Didn't realize this until after my items were being shipped to NV.
Shipito become SCAM! Have ordered an iPhone and a case. Send it full insured by DHL. Was returned to Shipito warehouse. The item in shipito warehouse in status "in progress" more than a week. Every day I am chatting with their support, and all they do is telling me that they will provide me with a solution "tomorrow". The tiket is open for more than a week. The items is in Shipito possession. The reimbursement for shipping services is on hold. So $449 iPhone 6s Plus, $9 case, and $123 Shipito services is my direct loss.
Good news: I may claim from my bank those $123 (this cost me $20). Also I should fill a claim at Bureau of Consumer Protection at Federal Trade Commission (I cannot post a link, but their site is first in google search). This will not refund me for my iPhone, but hopefully will create some troubles to shipito. And all this is quite easy as could be made online.

An update to the situation created by Shipito. As I said before, I pretend to return my money for delivery. And I did returned money for delivery. The tickets are still opened, and a resolution is not provided. The items of $459 are still at Shipito warehouse (at least, they pretend they are at their warehouse). At the 3rd week from items return, Shipito does not allow me to process my items. I cannot send them, I cannot return them to the seller, also because of Shipito I was missing 14 days for return term from Apple. I am chatting every day with them, an agent opened a new ticket for me... What for? They are not responding on tickets and emails.
As an agent said, they will keep my goods, until they will not receive reimbursement from DHL for the shipping.
So nothing is impossible in this world. I thought in USA nobody will try to play with that online steal and fraud in 2017. Shipito does. Keep updating, to see what happens next...
