What a fabulous service. My furniture was collected on time and delivered in immaculate condition. Slight mix up and delivery day had to change but communicated well. I will definitely be using this service again. Highly recommended.
I was selling items on Gumtree. A potential buyer contacted me and wanted to use Shiply. They explained how it worked. They paid Shiply. Shiply paid me and arranged with me collection of items to delver to my buyer. But link sent for me to be paid my money wanted all my Bank card details including security number. Link then supposedly went to my Bank logging on page wanted me to put all my logging on details! I did not do this. When I queried with them they said they needed to verify who I was but I had no way of verifying who they were. Have reported and will not be putting my phone number on Gumtree again
Great service! Collected and delivered as specified, would definitely use again and recommend. We had the prospect of my son having to hire a vehicle, drive from Stockport, Cheshire to us in Herne Bay; collect the boiler drive back. Manhandle the item back into his house to have it fitted. Apart from the time and inconvenience it could not have been done for the price of £65 which this company undertook to complete for collection and delivery door-to-door. Well pleased!
On the website pages about the deposit, it is claimed that said "small deposit" ensures that the client is faithful and does not cause expensive damages to the moving company with last minute cancellations. But at 27% of the moving quote, which in my case was a whopping £1500, this amounts to hundreds of pounds to give effectively to a middle man that does nothing when you have agreed the quote already with the moving company.
Long story short, they are out to rip you off so just rely on good old Google.
I buy items from the internet and also not because of picking items up.
Being able to get my goods home with very little work on my behalf is marvellous picked up on time and delivered on time given time slot call just before delivery is excellent.
It now gives me the benefit of buying without having to worry about finding time to get it home.

I have used Shiply before, but this time they excelled themselves! The franchisees were absolutely fantastic, moving my goods from storage in Folkestone, Kent, to my new home in St. Austell, Cornwall. The guys were very helpful, friendly, honest, cheerful and on time!
Used to find someone to transport a car. Got so many responses in such a short time. No silly quotes from anyone. Found a fantastic guy called Craig. Once we'd discussed terms. Was so easy to accept quote & pay the deposit. Brilliant
It is disappointing that Shiply (like Uber) takes no responsibility for the service they broker. I was badly let down by a transport provider, and, as a result, was forced to re-book at short notice with another one at considerably greater cost. All Shiply offered was to refund the booking fee for the first driver. Just as Facebook must accept that they are publishers, and Uber take responsibility for their drivers, Shiply should offer compensation or some other recourse rather than simply wash their hands of the service they broker.
The whole idea of Shiply is just great: 1) it allows me to book transport for moving stuff at a price I can afford. 2) it allows us little people to connect directly with independent drivers at a price that they too can afford; it doesn't take mass overheads from the drivers as other platforms do; it's almost like a networking service at a nominal fee. 3) it has allowed me to become independent and made waste prevention accessible; I can now buy second hand goods at a price I can afford and get them delivered. I cannot stress what a game changer this is; most of us would love to buy second hand but lack the finances to do so. Shiply has changed that. 4) It's almost like car-sharing; without having to be a car-owner - this is when technology is used for the greater good!
I was a bit dubious using online company but Stacy kept in contact nothing was a problem quick responses and reasonable prices. Brilliant from collection to delivery guys were absolutely lovely and professional everything tied into back of van and covered, well looked after, my daughter was really pleased with her delivery said herself they were really nice and were so careful with her items. Definitely recommend to anyone
I've just received all my stuff delivered from Glasgow and I couldn't be happier; the service provided by Bruce and his team was flawless (remarkable quality-price value, punctual, professional, communicated with me throughout the delivery...). I will definitely contact you again when I move. I can't thank you enough for making my move seamless.
Once the shipping was agreed, making corrections such as '3 seater' rather than '3 sister', and adding info not available at booking time such a e-mail and phone details seemed to be difficult/impossible.
Like any business - as long as things are going well, it's working fine. But once you engaged with a fraudulent business and have a problem - there is no recourse. No information on the providers is offered. All links to check anyone are broken. Can't even file a complaint with the government organizations because Shiply doesn't give details of the providers. Do not recommend.
Donald was amazing to communicate with, so efficient on the replies. Had the most competitive rates, allowed delivery of our products to him and held till we were ready to ship to a france!

Shiply is expensive. I paid $116 to them in an initial transaction just to find my shipper on their platform. There was a separate transaction to pay the shipper for his work. It's my own fault for not realizing the amount I was paying Shiply just to use their platform, but lesson learned. I will never use Shiply again.
The shipping was ok. Nothing to say other than the contracted party showed up and did what I paid him for. He did not exceed my expectations, and I don't want to write a neutral review and potentially hurt someone's business. So, I ignored Shiply's request to post a review. And then they send me the email I have attached here so you can see it with your own eyes. If I don't leave a review, they are going to post their own positive review. This is highly deceptive.
I won't use Shiply again, and I highly recommend against them!
Great service. Delivery was exactly as communicated. My only issue is after accepting the quote there was an additional £40 charge for delivery to not be some time in the future (3 weeks from memory). Even with this charge the service was excellent and price was still value for money. I would've preferred to just pay it up front. I guess if you can wait though you would get an even cheaper service.
We got a variety of expansive and competitively priced responses to our call out and found a really good company at a great price. Importantly I think care has to be taken by checking the reviews of the companies who give the quotes - if you don't you could end up with difficulties. Shiply just provides a platform for you to receive bids. I think we were able to choose a competitive price and reliability through this Shiply platform as I could access all the info before we booked them. It worked well for us.
I have had 2 issues now with delivery companies and when I told shipley they basically said it was not there problem. The worst thing is they still allow both companies to use there system putting other potential customers in the same position we were in.
Shiply saved me lots of time, and money. The quotes came back quickly. The alternative for me was to put a recommendation request on FB which is slow going sorting the wheat from the chaff and that way does not always get you the best deal.
Such a great company to source a range of couriers where you can accept the price and terms that meet your needs. The website is very easy to use and you can post your job in no time at all before you start receiving lots of quotes. Highly recommended!
The provider that contacted me quoted $1600 to get my camper to Georgia from Nebraska. I paid $271 deposit. Picked up problems and couldnt make the move. Sent an email to return my deposit l. Seems like they are based in london. Never saw my deposit again. Looked like an indian lady on the other side. Thanks for nothing.

After I paid the deposit they charged £10 extra for every flight of stairs - down and possibly up again. They claim it is in the terms and conditions but I could only see that after I was already committed i. E. after I paid the deposit. So I tried to cancel. No refund. Lost my money. And no delivery either. So the item I paid for is stranded with the seller. What a waste!
Bought a Nathan sideboard on ebay. Needed to get it delivered to us in Plymouth from Exmouth, distance of 55 miles. Chose a company that assured us if we paid extra for packaging it would be insured. This was important as we had paid £150 for the furniture. Have to say the transaction went ok, our only criticism was that it took two weeks. Of course, there was a public holiday during this period which we appreciate. Would recommend.
Quotes arrived thick and fast and from very high to very low. I quickly sorted out a man with a van to collect my items and deliver them to my door in a time frame acceptable to the seller and myself. Great price, great service and i was very pleased. Would definitely use again. Has given me confidence to look further afield for pieces of furniture to finish my home how i want it. Thumbs up from me
I've always used the better-rated couriers on Shiply who haven't necessarily been cheapest but they've had lots of positive feedback. I guess, as a result my experiences have been good. You have to understand how Shiply works - it's a portal which allows couriers on a "dutch auction" basis for a job. Not all men with vans are as reliable as each other or drive the same van! As with all things cheapest doesn't necessarily mean best - but you pay for what you get.
I have posted multiple ads and have not received any offers. It's a pretty basic shipment from USA to Canada. Instead they want you to pay to promote your request so you can get quotes. I think that is a backwards way of doing business.
Great communication, I can't fault their service. Used twice so far and I will be using again. Reasonably priced and good staff. Felt very comfortable with their service due to the impeccable communication I received. Always had a professional response within minutes! Definitely would recommend!
