Bought a sofa on e-bay. It was in Folkstone, and I am in Newcastle Upon Tyne. Worked out the cost of hiring a van and picking it up but luckily contacted Shipley and got 3 quotes within minutes, none were too far apart to cause concern. They communicated with vendor, picked it up in the afternoon of the next day (Friday) a call confirming they will arrive on Monday at 10:30 rather than the 11:00 they originally forecast. Brought it into the room I wanted, undamaged and protected, for a price that makes we worry they made no profit and was greatly less than the cost of collecting it myself!

Put my request on. Accepted and then the transporter did a bunk. Shiply were fab - took what we had put a deposit back and held against our next quote. Relisted the request for new quotes. Got a cracker and deposit was deducted as promised. Their contact was excellent as was their customer service. I will definitely use again.

Communication was excellent. They took extremely good care of the piano. They were very professional and friendly and helpful. Will recommend them to others and will use again if the need should arise.

Shiply quite simply improves business. The task of buying an item from across the country has now gone from a stressful and stupidly expensive process to a simple and cost effective solution to my personal and business needs. Fabulous!

Folks, careful here! Shiply will do everything to not refund the deposit, they say it can be used as a credit, but if you don't want to work with them you will ultimately lose your money! Only pay the deposit if you are sure you will be using the trucking company. Otherwise do not believe in their MISLEADING propaganda!

The 'quality' of the delivery itself is down to the courier you choose - obviously there will be some bad ones out there. However, I had a very positive experience - it was easy to set up, quotes came in very fast, and they reached a very good price. The platform is a great idea and I would happily use it again.

I got a quote on the job the car was collected with in a few hours stored overnight for me and delivered the next day this was over a 700 mile round trip. Super fast collection and delivery great all round service very happy

The guys picked up my stuff in Motherwell and made good time to get to Edinburgh. Their communication was excellent, they called me when they were on their way and when 5 mins from the property. Thanks so much guys, couldnt be any happier with the job.

I got lots of bids before making a decision. Shiply is a good service and was recommended by friends. I would also recommend it especially if you have no exact restrictions on dates. If you have to have your delivery on a certain date it can take a bit longer to find the right match but I got there in the end.

Paid Shiply deposit of $80, and the driver $150. It was required to driver half up front. The driver went MIA and quit communication thorough SHIPLY. Shiply supposedly does the vetting of these drivers and then takes no responsibility if they no-show. Shiply won't even give me my money back that I paid them. They want me to use that money for another shipment. I will never use them again. Scam of a conmpany.

I was introduced to Shiply by a friend who had used the site on several occasions. It turned out to be an excellent introduction! Price good; communication with the transporter excellent and he was courteous and obliging.

Viorel and Valentin were punctual and very quickly assessed the situation and provided us with a plan for the day. They set expectations, outlining low and high risks, along with a clear strategy on how to minimize those risks. They moved heavy furniture pieces smoothly and carried many boxes efficiently and made every effort to protect our goods.
We moved into a brand-new home, and there was not a scratch on any of the walls or wood floors. I could not be more impressed with this team. I have had a lot of experiences moving homes (5 prior moves) and have to give Viorel and Valentin 5 stars. They were exceptional, really exceeding my expectations. I used their service to find a transport partner, who they verified and then that person stole my money, did not provide the service and now I have not been refunded. They are a fraud and a scam! Don't use them!

My first experience of shipping anything larger than a box of cornflakes, transporting a car seemed daunting until the quotes flew in (swiftly) from potential service providers.

From his reviews and the communications with the driver beforehand I was satisfied that he was trustworthy. He went the extra mile to collect the item and unexpectedly offered to deliver to my door. They took very good care of the item, I can't praise them highly enough. Very easy to use Shipley, a brilliant resource for getting stuff delivered from UK to Ireland.

Shipley is the perfect answer to your Ebay collection only purchases. Now I know about Shipley I'll have no worries bidding for those large collection only bargains.
Excellent experience from start to finish

I can only write about my own experience with Shiply. I have had several items of all shapes and sizes picked up and delivered in the past and even today I took receipt of another item. I find them to be very caring with the choice of companies they choose to put on their site. When I accepted a bid for a certain company to do my delivery, Shiply contacted me to inform me that it was a fairly new company to their site and if I had any problems at all to contact Shiply immediately so that they could sort out any problems. Needless to say there were none. Thank you Shiply I trust you with offering me the best.

I was trying to get a motorcycle shipped from Montreal. They connect me with a shipper, that when I search the web, there is a long list of horrible reports that there are scam artists and damaged equipment, were not on time, the equipment took much longer to receive ete. I cancelled my order and now out $85 because there does really appear to be any way to contact shiply. Their site help icon says Ooops something went wrong and their email does not work. I think this is a scam site that directs all may to the same company and provides other bogus quotes that may all go to same shipper as well.

Shiply uses great guys who specialise in handling, collection and delivery.
Its highly customer focused, the guy's works for Shiply are no-nonsense, only doing the best depending purely on Customers like Us requirement.
I had a great experience in related to price/prompt booking/collection and delivery.

Shiply is a good site... the fees added to their quotes are too high... I have used a them some times but other times I had to end the listing without a booking as I found cheaper quotes by contacting transporters directly. For example the last job I booked through shiply was £316 out that £260 only for the transporter and £56 shiply fees!
Now £56 fee is very much over the odds! Which drives away many customers and transporters from using their platform... I'm in the motor trade and I know many transporters and customers who stopped using the platform due to their very high fees!
Sadly their management prefer to lose business over lowering their fees to reasonable amount.
Apart from the high fees it is a good site if you choose transporters with a good feedback.
