What a fabulous service. My furniture was collected on time and delivered in immaculate condition. Slight mix up and delivery day had to change but communicated well. I will definitely be using this service again. Highly recommended.
I was selling items on Gumtree. A potential buyer contacted me and wanted to use Shiply. They explained how it worked. They paid Shiply. Shiply paid me and arranged with me collection of items to delver to my buyer. But link sent for me to be paid my money wanted all my Bank card details including security number. Link then supposedly went to my Bank logging on page wanted me to put all my logging on details! I did not do this. When I queried with them they said they needed to verify who I was but I had no way of verifying who they were. Have reported and will not be putting my phone number on Gumtree again
The service provided by Shiply was excellent from commencement of contract to collection and delivery of item by transporter (bigsi04) and would be highly recommended.
The shippers they put me in contact with were crooks.

DBA Kwick Kargo stated in their website that the had 15 years experience BUT they got incorporated in 2019.
The received quote stated "no service fees or extra fees"... but the shipper charged me 5% as CREDIT MERCHANT CHARGES. Totally BS.
The shipper also wanted payment with Zelle, or a deposit to their bank account and to give them my credit card info in a form of "authorization" so they can run my credit card... GOOD LUCK WITH THAT!
BOTH Shiply and their UNVERIFIED shippers ARE CROOKS.

The whole process was very logical and concise, and the French recipient tells me how polite the driver was. Reregistration of the car has now been completed, and it will be in regular use.
I'm still trying to work out if I've been scammed by SHIPLY or if this is a a terrible company. Paid a deposit to the company but the driver did not turn up. Shiply will not now refund the deposit. THE DEPOSIT WAS PAID TO SHIPLY.
I would completely avoid this company, it has cost me a lot of money.

BUT XPERT DELIVERY WERE SUPERB AND WOULD CERTAINLY USE THEIR SERVICE AGAIN. THEIR PRICING WAS ALSO EXTREMLY COMPETATIVE... ALL IN ALL 5 STAR SERVICE AND ONE OF THE BEST COURIERS I HAVE EVER USED.
There are too few small businesses or one man businesses on this platform. It is more large brokers which are middlemen to make money off of the load in order get a carrier to get the load. The problem with this is that the price to carry your load is greatly impacted with higher fee's rather than seeking a broker lead bid, try really hard to find the one individual to carry your load. There is much requirements as far as complying with the USDOT and Insurance requirements so all drivers even ones who are new are all safe. The brokers are ones that boast many trucks and many employees. Really they do not have those trucks or employees but they have the means to attain those leads.
And keep in mind a really low offer can be a bait and switch. I was in both seats where I needed a car hauled and then I have services to offer. As a two person team it is hard to really always be price competive as what others say because the other people bait and really do not give you those super low rates though you can try. Most likely if you are in a time crunch it will waste your precious time.
The site asks for references but the carrier is not required to offer such, but all carriers have to have a USDOT if using a 26' Box truck. A Cargo Van does not need a USDOT.
Very nice driver and minimal complications the only one issue was thecollection place for the washing machine was shut over the weekend, which the driver found out for me!
I chose Movecorp to move my stuff from London to Denmark. Movecorp was terrible, they picked up my things, took my money, lied through the entire process just to tell me when I was already in Denmark that they were filing for bankruptcy and they could not move my stuff. They asked me to get in touch with the British Association of Removers, but they tod me that Movecorp had not filed for liquidation, then Movecorp sent my friend an email asking if she was still moving and if she required their services.
I have not found the way to get my money back, as of now, there aren't updates about them going into administration.
I was completely lost and I had lost all hope that I would get my boxes in Denmark, all companies were telling me that they could not help picking up my boxes from Movecorp, and the rates were exorbitant, also they were giving me long waits for their services.
And then, I found Shiply. Their platform is easy to use, the rates are fair, communication is open and everything is registered, the process is straightforward, the service is great, and the deliveries are professional and timely.
I wish I had known about them sooner!

This is my first time Shiply and overall it was a very good experience. To save time I find myself lifting phrases from Lisa-Jane C's review on this page who explains the system rather well I think! It seems to be a useful tool for finding an individual or company to collect goods and deliver them at a reasonable cost. The site sends your request out - presumably to a panel of registered members, who appear to be vetted (I know nothing about how they are vetted) - and you then receive 'offers' of service with quotes from a number of candidates. I was slightly overwhelmed by the number of messages I received and while I was contemplating and trying to read feedback to help me make the right decision, you'll find that the 'offers' continue coming in, and some tenders send through revised offers, possibly they can see the other prices you've been sent and are trying to undercut them, or possibly they have done their research and decided they can afford to do the job for less than initially suggested, again I'm not sure. However, my instincts also told me I should read the messages carefully - and effectively read between the lines - as perhaps there are some companies or individuals who would put forward a very low bid and then charge more on the day, or let you down on the day. So reading between the lines I chose someone who had suggested what I thought was a reasonable price for the job, by no means the cheapest although not the most expensive either... but he asked the right questions (e.g. Telling me clearly that he was a one-man team and would need someone to help him load on at collection and off at deliver points) and waiting to hear from me about relevant times for collection. I think I chose well as I was delighted with the service I received from this individual. So my advice would be do read the message you're sent carefully and try to deduce the kind of person/company you'll be dealing with, then read the introductions and feedback from other users rather than just picking the cheapest bid - think about what time the job will take and what is really a reasonable cost.
I will definitely use Shipley again - and will be careful in my selection to try to make sure I get a similarly impressive service.

This is part2of my story with PROOVIA. To read 1st part go down. So they got mattress and about a month was Lying about deliver it. Finally they said that DELIVERY DONE. We call to the mattress warehouse to get our money back and they said: NOTHING WAS DELIVERED.
What? Call Back to PROOVIA and they said ah sorry we lost PROVE TO DELIVERY, but we delivered they was ignored us for a while with "manager sick or we will call you back later", then they SENT prove to delivery- IT WAS A PICTURE WHERE NEW double size MATRESS WAS LEFT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET BESIDE BUILDING AT... WRONG ADRESS! (You could see adress on top on the wall). My heart was broken first, and second - are you guys are normal?
Then now - more that 1 months now, THEY FEED US - we will give you money back, money on the was, manager is off in hospital (about manager my favorite)

JUST TERRIBLE! Never use it. We got wrong size mattress on amazon and used shiply to deliver it from Glasgow to England.
The day when the guys from shiply must comeS-nobody comes and never contact us. We contacted them next day and they finally got our mattress. Then. It's more than 14 days now and we can't find our mattress, it never was delivered. Customer service Shiply saying "the manager is sick, the manager on the meeting ". Nobody help up. Now you decide want you situation like this or not
