Hiply — Shiply didn't act properly and driver stole my money

On October 29 I had bid that accepted to find a driver ship my boat. I saw two unauthorized payment $110and $85 but at that time I didn't know but I saw messages came $110 charged I contacted Karen support team to cancel the bid but he never replied back all conversations was via email. Now I saw at the same time shiply charged me another payment of $85.
After that on Nov 2 someone gave me offer and I accepted. Shiply sent driver contact number. I didn't contact him but he none stop called me and texted me.
He said I can transfer your boat on Nov 10 but if you want I'll do it tomorrow Nov 3 if you pay $1200 deposit now. He said I'm certified insured licensed driver through Shiply.
I paid $1200 via Zelle and after that he disappeared and never replied back.
I sent email to shiply and repot him and said you have to suspend his license but shiply replied: we will do act when the driver will do something wrong few times in short period of time!
I said he stole my money and 2 days before me he stole another person money still you wanted to wait?!
They sent me his address that it's not match in google maps.
Shiply just answered very late and acted improperly and didn't have enough information about driver.
Shiply has to give me and other people who were victims and lost money because of their lack of proper act and on time.

They do not vet their moving companies. A company took my money, cancelled, wont refund and left a fake positive review using my name!

I have a single 60 lb box but slightly too large for UPS/Fedex to take. If it were 8" shorter, it would cost about $140 to ship to the destination. Less than truck load carriers such as Southeastern and SAIA are around $300. They used to be around 200 to ship a box of this size and weight pre-covid. So, Let's try Shiply. Nothing but a bunch of crack heads quoting $1400 to $2600 to take a box 12 hours down the road. I'm not looking for them to carry just that box on the journey. Hello? I just shipped a pickup truck to Gulfport MS for $740. Shiply quotes are nothing but Amateurs (4 thus far) who intend to take just this one box on a VIP adventure from Cincy to St. Pete vs someone who is hauling many parcels in a cost effective manner. One guy even asked me if it would fit in his Prius (LOL). Hell dude, I have no idea... I do not own a Prius! Don't waste your time for commodity shipping with these buffoons wanting $150 to $200 per hour to drive down I75. Shiply needs to Qualify their couriers if they expect to become a viable service that is price competitive. Prius drivers need not apply.

Brilliant site which does exactly what it says on the tin. We needed a sofa picked up and delivered with care and this happened perfectly.

Throw your jobs out and lot of quotes will come to you in a while. Better read through some reviews before making your decision. It's helpful!

Offers to collect my walker soon came in after I put the job on Shiply. All the people who replied were courteous and informative.

Said it all before, used them often will not hesitate to do so again. Cheaper than the opposition and just as good... if not better.

1st time user, who's never going to hire a van again. Just enter info get quotes accept one, it's on it's way. Great stuff, wish I'd thought of it
