Shoebacca

Tried to place an order online for sneakers, totaling about $45. When I added my ship to address I noticed that sales tax was being charged in error. Called customer service and was told to submit my order and call back for a refund. Told the representative I would not be placing the order but was offered no alternative, so did not order.
I live in New York City, NY and there is no sales tax on an item of clothing or footwear that costs less than $110. An item of clothing or footwear that costs $110 or more is subject to the full 8.875% tax rate.
Appears to me that this is quite a significant error in Shoebacca's online order processing system. Wonder what Shoebacca is doing with all the sales tax erroneously collected.

I was directed to Shoebacca from Brads Deals. Using the Shoebacca site was easy and fast. I was able to get athletic shoes that were being offered at less than half of their usual price and shipping was free,

Wanted sent to another address as a gift. I added the gift address in, but when i put my payment in it erased my son's address. Immediately called but the phone was out of service. And then got an e-mail saying i couldn't change the address because of a security policy.

I stopped by a shoe store to find sneakers and I was about to purchase them from the store but decided to see how much the shoes would cost me if I purchased them online. I entered the name of the shoe and Shoebacca had them for 50% less than what I was going to pay in the store AND I got a $10 discount for being a first-time shopper. Overall great experience.

I love the colors on the shoe, but I was not expecting the shoe to be leather. I was looking for a non-leather shoe, and I didn't see leather in the description for this shoe. I could have just not read the description correctly and skipped over it (wouldn't put it past myself), but that disappointed me a bit. I have gotten a lot of compliments, though. :)) )
I wore them to work where I am standing all day and have walked around town with them, and they are pretty comfortable. However, the tongue is made of a more durable material that rubs against my foot when wearing no-show socks, which is uncomfortable.

I went off your size chart and size came half size smaller I should of just went with my gut im always a 10 but chart said I would be 9 and half and have ordered shoes before and been wrong cuz I didn't use the chart. So sux I got to return

I have worn these Easy Spirit Traveltime mules for several years and love them. Not easy to find my fave pattern and size! Shoebacca not only had great availability, but site was easy to navigate and process my order. Shipping was quick and free!

Super easy! I searched the style and brand of shoe that I wanted and there it was, in both colors that I desired AND in my size! Usually, 9s are hard to come by, so I was beyond excited that you all had them!

The shoes were fine but I was out of town for a week and forgot my running shoes. I ordered them on a Monday and their site specifically said "2nd Day - $12.00
2 Business Days - Monday - Friday". This is copied and pasted from their site. When I got the notice of delivery, it said Thursday. I immediately emailed them and they did nothing about it. So I paid an extra day shipping and only got to use the shoes one day. I could have just returned home and bought a pair at the mall. I emailed them mutliple times and they ignored my emails.

In business, just do what you say you are going to do and if you can't then make it right.

I have ordered shoes from Shoebacca a few times before and had no issues. This time around was a bit different. The first pair I ordered had one of the lace eyes tore off when I was first lacing the shoe, so I returned it and ordered another pair, no issue at that point. The second pair of shoes (same brand/style as the first) arrived, and the exact same thing happened... a different lace eye tore right off the first time lacing them up. I did the second return (again no issues with the returns), and ordered a 3rd pair of shoes, this time with no laces and a Velcro flap wanting to avoid the whole lace issue. After about a week I got an email saying that my order had been cancelled with no explanation whatso ever. When I called in to enquire, I was told they "think" they are out of stock. So now after a month and three, well almost three, pairs of shoes... I am forced to look elsewhere for shoes.

I ordered men's shoes and was sent women's shoes. The hassle of returning the shoes in comparison to the cost wasn't worth the time and trouble. Truly disappointed with Shoebacca. I'm 100% sure I will not shop with them again.
Now I have a pair of women's shoes I donated to a local shelter. That was the only good part.

Shoebacca has always Been professional & honest in all my transactions with them, except on this order. The shoes received were not the same as shown in the photographs.
The Boat Shoes advertised are "Slip On" not the "Lace Ups" I received.

Sent two e-mails and the last one received from Customer Support told me to send information on the shoes for them to give to the Warehouse " it would save them time", I had already sent the shoe model # and order # with my first e-mail.
The shoe # is the same one shown on the description of the listing.
The only problem I have is with the "Shoelaces." PLEASE HELP RESOLVE THE PROBLEM.

I bought two pairs of shoes for 59.90 and they made the transaction to my card, they deducted me the days passed and the order appeared in canceled I thought it was canceled but it was canceled that they could not send them an email saying that what happens with the shipment and they tell me that they did not receive any money or anything but if my card does not appear, my money sent them the emails and they no longer respond, the $#*!s are being made with my money hire the bank to know what happened is the only store that I have come out with these stories in all the stores very responsible but I think these son of a $#*! will steal me that decilucion will not have tennis at Christmas... be careful

I normally get the 7.5 Wide New Balance velcro walking shoe. Bummed that you did not have it. If I wear slim socks and not velcro them too tight I can get by. BUT... I would like to order the 7.5 Wide version when you have more in.

Shoes got to me before a couple pair I had ordered through Saucony 2 weeks before the pair I ordered through Shoebacca. Shoebacca is smart though and they don't use FedEx. Unfortunately, Saucony does.

Site wouldn't complete my order several times with PayPal. Started over and it finally took it.

These are no where near as good fitting as my others from a box store, to the point the I think the shoes are 'blems' from production, the right arch is not in the correct place and the right shoe makes my foot contact weird causing my knee to hurt. Disappoint because I absolutely LOVED my last pair of Tubes.

I looked to buy these boots from Chippiewa but they were out of stock. I Googled the manufacture number and found that Shoebacca had them in stock. I bought and they delivered in less time then the said.

The description of the item was great. They we're the perfect size and just what I needed when I couldn't find them anywhere else. The item shipped in perfect timing as expected according to the availability. Awesome service!

I see that there are a lot of negative reviews regarding SHOEBACCA, but I've only ever had a pleasant experience. My orders were processed quickly and I received my items within a few days. I received exactly what I'd ordered, and I paid a fair price. If I run into problems in the future I will be sure to update this review.

Noticed the tracking for my order had said it was delivered but I never got it. According to the tracking # I should of received it last Tuesday April 11th but still haven't and I've written 2 emails to your customer service over the last 3 days and have heard nothing

I was having difficulty finding the sneakers that I wanted at a reasonable price. By chance, I found Shoebacca and they had the shoes that I wanted at an affordable price. Now that I have found Shoebacca, I will continue to shop here.

My delivery was not made to my address. On the delivery day UPS claimed they could not deliver because I was not home. Lie. I live in an apartment building with a security system. UPS has a key to enter and leave packages in the mail room. There is also a call box and UPS did not attempt to call me while at my door The next day the web site said the package was out for delivery. Nothing came. When I checked the Shoebacca site that evenig it said the package had been delivered to a dock. No further info. The next day the Shoebacca site would not allow me to access the delivery info. I had to call to find that the package had been delivered to a Michael's store. I made a special trip to then find my package. Let's just say this was not a great experience.
