My 10 month old pup has a metal tag with a super cool enamel design on the front but my pup's name and address which is engraved on the back is very hard to read. The Silidog tag has awesome contrast and sharp lettering that is very easy to read. It is soft and I can totally understand how a pup would enjoy chomping it to bits but if it's on a collar that a dog is wearing they can't reach it to chew it so not a problem from my perspective. The part of the tag the split ring goes through seems plenty sturdy. My tag arrived with a week of ordering (October 2018) it looks great and I'm totally happy with it.

Ordered a dog tag back in July and now here we are 2 months later and still have not received it. I tried emailing, Facebook messaging, and calling them SEVERAL times each but have yet to get a response! Finally had to file a dispute with my credit card company to get my money back. After doing some online research I'm seeing that is the normal for this company. Only emails I get from them are spam trying to get me to make another purchase at least 5 times a week when I never received my original purchase. My wife and I purchase products that are on Shark Tank quite frequently and this is our 1st experience dealing with a scam company that made the show.

E-mail sent to the company about their horrible tags:
Hi there,
Not so happy customer here. Not only did it take 20 minutes to put the tag on the ring provided, which you guys could have easily done for me, my dog ate the tag. I know you have no control over what my dog eats but if it ends up that the tag is the next thing she chews on at least make it indestructible. Now I'm concerned that my 8 pound dog has too much silicone in her system. Not durable like your website says. Definitely want my money back at the least. If we need to go to the vet for this you will be hearing from me.

I have a lot of respect for Shark Tank, so when I saw Silidog tags in February, 2017, I immediately ordered one. Silidog immediately charged my credit card, and I haven't heard a word from them since. Despite numerous time trying to contact them, nothing. Do not waste your money on Silidog.com products!

Don't waste your money on this company. I ordered 2 tags in January after seeing this on Shark Tank. They charged my credit card immediately, but no response on the status of my order. I've been trying to reach the company by phone, email and live chat on their website with no response for two months! Ridiculous. They must have skipped the country... total rip off!

Awful product, the silicone failed. The metal ring is fine and intact. I have a pretty mello dog and after playing with a friend for a few minutes it was MIA. When I contacted customer service I was told that they don't do refunds (after I had requested one) and they sent me a new one! See how long this one lasts!

I have the same review as someone else! Ordered right after their Shark Tank episode (October?) Received Weeks later in mid December. One of the dog's tags broke in Feb. Emailed the site, no response, attempted to use the "Chat" option. No one was home. In purchasing the tags, attempted to email multiple times regarding my order status, also no response. Awful customer service, not what I would have expected from a Laurie investment.

We ordered a tag for our rescue dog over a month ago and still have not received it. When I reached out to Helen their customer service rep it took almost a week to hear a response. After 2 weeks of asking for updated shipping information with no reply I requested a refund to which I got the reply that refunds are not possible since the tag is customized. A new tag was shipped again no tracking information has been provided and no updates from customer service and still no tag. It's a shame that we tried to support a small business and they have zero respect for their customers. Thankfully we paid through pay pal and will be requesting a refund through them since we never received our product.

I wish I had read these reviews PRIOR to placing an order for 2 dog tags at $20 EACH! They both didn't last a month! What a waste of money. I thought about contacting the company, but with all the poor reviews about their dog tags on here, it's not worth my time since the company doesn't appear to stand behind their product. :(

I could tell as soon as I saw this dog tag that it was not going to be durable and I was right. This dog tag lasted less than 2 days on my dogs collar and it's all broken up not to mention it does not glow in the dark. What a scam. Never purchasing again.

I purchased one right after it aired on shark tank. I loved it. But within the year the silicone is starting to tear where it attaches to the little metal ring. I wrote the company about their durability claim and still have heard nothing back from them. So disappointed in the customer service. I would have been a customer forever!

After seeing Silidog on Shark Tank I immediately ordered a tag for my dog. After about 3 months the tag broke off and I was so disappointed! I emailed Silidog and they said yes, they had an issue with the tags breaking but have redesigned it and would send me a new one, free of charge. I received the new tag within a week. The new tag is still good after 6 months. I believe the colour has faded a bit but thats ok! I would purchase from Silidog again!

I have ordered 3 of these tags- the first one got lost due to the flimsy ring on it. I figured no big deal and ordered a second one. They both came in pretty quickly. The second one broke a few months later. I just ordered a third one and it hasn't come in yet. I ordered it on 11/19. I emailed Helene and she said that a Thanksgiving is slowing things down a bit- 2 weeks?! I emailed her a second time to ask for a tracking number and have gotten no response. From the reviews on here, sounds like my money is gone and I'll have to purchase yet another tag elsewhere. The concept is great but poor execution and even worse customer service.

After 5 weeks of waiting (doesn't this remind us gen x'rs about sending in money to get a toy by mail only to have to wait 6 or more weeks?), I got the wrong item. I tried by phone, email, facebook, twitter etc with all my info as well as their own emailed invoice. NO response. They already have the old one back as I mailed it at my own expense. A "we caught up" email was sent out two weeks ago. Still nothing. Tomorrow I'm going to file a dispute with my bank. 10-12 weeks is too long, sorry bub.

I recv'd the two tags five days after ordering them. That's great service! These tags will last a lifetime, don't make any noise, and glow in the dark. They are a nice size tag (bigger than what you get from a Pet Supply store).

Ordered tag 1 month ago. Haven't received it yet. I've been sending them requests for information on why I haven't gotten my tag. They got my money but no tag. Nobody has gotten back to me for an explanation. Very disappointed.

Had a problem delays two years ago, however they were a young business starting out of a garage. They were also overwhelmed with the response from Shark Tank. These are the best pet tags Ive ever had (dog owner for 40+ years) and Ive been ordering for all my friends. Most of the reviews are two years old. Not only has the company improved its delivery and customer service, but the quality of the tags and customization are the best in the world!

Shame on you or anyone talking bad about a wonderful young man, with a great story, product, and company!

SiliDog is the best! Just go see their social media and website to see their improvements. They put the customers (SiliFans) first!

I ordered a tag right after seeing this on shark tank and received it in a reasonable time, but less than 3mos later, the tab where it attaches to the ring has already broke after my dog scratched her neck. Can't get a response from the company either from their email or Facebook. Even their Twitter account is restricted so you can't leave a comment. Too bad, I liked the concept and the tag.

I placed my order on Nov 3rd and have never received it. I have sent two emails, posted on their Facebook site and called and left a message. No replies to any of them. Then I saw on their web site "Order by Dec 1st for Christmas delivery", good luck with that. The tag is silent because it hasn't come!

I ordered a dog tag because of the claims that it is durable. After waiting several weeks to receive the tag, we put it on our dog and it was destroyed within 10 minutes. I have sent multiple emails, left a voicemail, and tried to chat with them on their website. I still have not received any replies and am afraid that I will not get refunded for poor quality/defective product. Please do not waste your money or time on this product or company.

I got an e-mail from the company apologizing for the problem I had. They said they had redesigned the top of it where the ring goes and they would send me all new ones. I received them and they have lasted for the last several months! I would say they have fixed their problem and redeemed themselves. I would now reorder from them!

I order 3 tags. We had to wait a long time and as soon as i put them on the dog collars TWO of them broke. I e-mailed the owner/inventor and never heard a word back. They cost too much to have used them less than a week and get no replacements. Very disappointed

I purchased a name tag for my new puppy about 6 weeks ago. The shape, size and color of the tag and the lettering of the dog's name on the front of the tag are reasonably well- achieved. However, the owner name and phone number on the back are written in way-too-tiny font and are overshadowed by the much larger company name; it's hard to read and would be confusing to a stranger reading the tag if the pet were lost. In addition, the plastic clip doesn't sit well on the dog's collar, hanging so that the name doesn't actually show unless one turns the tag sideways. I wrote to the owner with feedback and got no response.

I purchased my silidog tag for my shihpoo in November 2016. Last month I found that it was starting to come apart. I messaged silidog on etsy which is where I ordered it and nothing. I afterwards discovered that they no longer have a page on etsy so I went to their website and messaged them. Still no reply. I messaged them on Facebook and still nothing. It's not worth your money and the lifetime warranty they advertise is clearly not true. Don't waste your money.

I loved the story of this product and wanted to support this and was happy to purchase for my dog, unfortunately I have purchase 2xs separate occasions and they both have broken by the ring or hoop of it. Great product minus that part, I love the look and feel of it. The first one lasted only about 4 months then about a month or so later ordered another one and that one lasted about 4 months as well. Actually if just broke today & I now just reading some reviews and as i read seems like there's a defect on that, being it's breaking the same way for others. I have not contacted them yet because as I googled it saw it said for reviews so I started reading first and thought I put mine up as well, But I have not contacted them, it may be a waste of time per previous reviews. Again, looks & feels great and I do love it, but honestly need to correct this defect on it, maybe make the ring/hoop area more sturdy or possibly some type of metal, my opinion. Hope this helps other viewers.

Paid a lot of money for a dog tag that very quickly became illegible. My dog always wears her collar but somehow managed to chew on her tag and it didn't take long to be unable to read her name or our number. Very disappointed silidog.
